FIXING WATER MIST SYSTEM | Marine Electrician

Onboard Fire Alarm System was upgraded hence we need to test if the upgrade is working fine. During testing it was found out that there is a mis wiring on the system. Your leckyjake fixed the trouble and sharing you the troubleshooting I did in the system.

So let me guess, this was modified probably by a tech Rep from the company that made the system? One of the things I try to hammer into the heads of the newer people learning at the shipyard I work at is to try to do the best job that you can and try to be correct in the wiring, because a ship is not like working in a building.
If something you did wrong in a building, you have to go back to fix it, but when a ship is 500 miles out at sea, it’s not possible. If it was done by a rep. I wonder why it did not show up? Did they not do the same operational test in the end, or did he finish and just say “it’s ok!”😂
