Just found the parody contest and all the submissions a month or two ago, and now just finding this...dang that's so good!!! Sad it couldn't have been in the contest, but maybe you're doing another for this year's??
Aww, thanks! Yes, last year I did Andoran Royals, which started me off down the rabbit hole of making WoT parodies, which has become a hobby of mine. I am almost done with my contest entry for this year, but it is NOT serious, it's completely silly. I'm glad you liked our Shallow. If you don't know Androl the Bard, check him out, he's amazing!

I've had my submission this year mostly written for a while now, Im just waiting on my friend to suggest a bunch of edits, because she can actually make it sound good XD hopefully that can happen otherwise I guess I'll just stick with my original lyrics. But then we also have to find time for my roommate to sing it, since I have absolutely no talent for that, and then the editing... definitely glad the date got pushed back at least 😅
Can I suggest Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush don't give up as your next parody.. always think of wot when I hear it just want someone like yourselves with talent to rearrange the lyrics
