    Muito obrigado. Eu também sempre estou adiantando.

      Ah sim! Você sempre está adiantado (e não 'adiantando' 😉)
      O que faz quando está muito adiantado? Lê um livro? Navega na internet?

    Thank you for your lesson, I enjoy the extra learning option through your video. Just one section 4:57 through 5:10 I think, when you read the time you omitted saying “horas” but all the other times of day you’ve included saying “horas”, is this normal? And I was happy to learn a new time period ... 1am to 6am 😁

      Thanks for your question!
      I am glad you enjoyed the class!! And I can see you were attentive to it 😊
      It is common to omit the word 'horas' and sometimes even 'da manhã, da tarde...' may be omitted. For example, I can say that I wake up at 7. "Eu acordo às 7"... in this case both 'horas' and 'da manhã' are somehow obvious.😉
      I truly hope you can learn something new from each class you watch!

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oi Carl!
      O correto seria dizer "Estou na hora do café da manhã" ou "Estou tomando o café da manhã".
      Quanto a mim, agora estou na hora do lanche da tarde. 😋

    I've noticed that when you say que horas são, the "a" in horas is pronounced "ei". Is it a correct observation?

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow!! It is a thorough observation that I myself never realized. 😮
      This 'ei' that you noticed is not the stardardized pronunciation. It may be a phonological event that happens when linking sounds kind of fast.

      Thank you! I speak a local language in China, then I learned to speak Mandarin, shanghaiese, Cantonese, English and Japanese. I have developed a little obsession with languages over time.

    Apesar de eu ter um nível intermediário de português, eu aprendi com esse vídeo. Sabia como dizer “estou atrasada” (porque sou de atrasar), mas o meu marido é de adiantar. Acho que eu teria falado “está cedo” em vez de “está adiantado,” que não dá. Mas eu suponho que posso dizer, por exemplo, que ele “chegou cedo” ou “há chegado cedo.” Estou correto?

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oi, Susan! Tudo bem?
      Quando alguém chega antes / depois do horário, há algumas opções a serem usadas.
      1 - Ele está adiantado / atrasado
      2 - Ele chegou adiantado / atrasado
      3 - Ele chegou cedo / tarde
