    This is a great video, and I give it a 9/10. The only reason it doesn't get a 10 is because there is not enough time given to repeat the words or phrases.

    Hello,first of all thank you so much for the lessons.I have a question,how to pronounce cem? we saying seim or sein?

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  ปีที่แล้ว

      Olá! Tudo bem?
      'Cem' should be pronounced as 'sein'. I will leave below the link to a lesson where I teach how to make the nasal sounds, such as the one we have at the end of 'cem'. - th-cam.com/video/OiUCZaDOlt4/w-d-xo.html

    Sou brasileiro e na verdade o 14 se pronuncia catorze dependendo do sotaque

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Isso mesmo. Tanto a pronúncia quanto a escrita mudam. 😊

    catorze or quatore ?

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In Brazil, both forms are correct. There is a preference, though, for using *quatorze.*

    why dezoito and not dezeoito dezeseis, dezesete dezeoito dezenove

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, I don't why. Maybe for phonetic reasons (when there is a letter 's' between two vowels, it sounds like 'z'; thus, changing the sound of 'seis / sete' in those words. But it is just a guess.) By the way, did you know that in European Portuguese (PT), numbers those numbers are spelled differently from Brazilian Portuguese (BR)?
      16 - dezesseis (BR) - dezasseis (PT)
      17 - dezessete (BR) - dezassete (PT)
      18 - dezoito = dezoito
      19 - dezenove (BR) - dezanove (PT)
