Your team three is very close to a lesson I had in my Modern American Myths class (Comic class). We were talking about why Batman's rogues gallery is the best. Each of his villains are representions (or are the antithesis) to aspects of Batman. Bane represents his strength, Riddler represents his brains, Two-face represents his duality, Scarecrow represents his fear (tactics), Penguin represents his money, Mr. Freeze represents his pain, Clayface represents his changing persona (kind of similar to Two-face), Man-Bat is the antithesis to his concept, Poison Ivy is the antithesis to his technology, Ra's is the "antithesis" to his mission, and Joker is the antithesis to his morality. There's definitely more, but those are the obvious ones.
Very interesting and very insightful. This is why Batman and some DC characters are beyond simple comic characters. There's always more to be understood and more to be learned by their mythology.
@@zzirfamo24 I disagree, mostly in terms of the villains designs, green goblin looks really goofy, doc ock is not intimidating in the slightest, vulture's suit looks dumb and in terms of writing, not all of Peter's villains parallel him the way Batman's do
They could have made him so much less annoying, he talks way too damn much. Even for the Riddler. It didn't help that his challenges usually ended up being tedious rather than engaging.
I think my ideal lineup would be: Bane (as the leader), Scarecrow, Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat, and Killer Croc (as he was depicted in Knightfall). This team in particular, I feel, really parallels the original Sinister Six in interesting ways and can also be turned against each other, either verbally or through force in combat, just as Spider-Man often would do. Edit: after some unprompted reflection, I'd also accept Firefly on the team as a better Vulture analog than Man-Bat, who might be more unpredictable than Bane is willing to work with. I still like him better aesthetically and narratively, but I acknowledge he can be too difficult to work with to warrant a dedicated spot on the team.
I honestly cannot fault this line-up, that team has an amazingly diverse power sets and potential plot-lines to play with. I might be in favour of having it be a 'Sinister Seven' by making Penguin or Anarchy a 'man in the chair' shot caller or a backline hacker/intel specialist, respectively. I'd also be on board with change ups, with Poison Ivy subbing in when Freeze is in prison, or Deathstroke taking over from Bane for some reason. I absolutely wouldn't have the Joker be a reliable part of the team, because Joker doesn't share the limelight of Batman's attentions very happily, or at least not for long.
@@donovanbradford8231 I can't speak for OP, but both of them add some muscle to the group, and both Killer Croc and Man-Bat is definitely very similar to Spider-Man's enemy, the Lizard. But Croc adds some extra viciousness and is consistently a severe physical threat to Batman that can co-operate with Bane's strength and tactical planning. Man-Bat also adds a 3rd dimension to the battles that can be very useful to a well-honed team, if he can be controlled.
I personally can’t see Joker on a “sinister six” type team nor given his reputation could I see any other rogue willing to work with him. It’d be like the Green Goblin on the sinister six, too much of a wild card. However I could see Penguin setting something up. So my team would be: Clayface, Two Face, Penguin, Firefly, Poison Ivy, and Riddler. In my mind I’ve always seen Bane as too proud to work with anyone. I know he has worked with rogues in the past. Just my personal head canon. Catwoman…I mean at this point, would any rogue REALLT trust her. It’s not like she’s NEVER been seen with Batman. Harley could work, but I feel like she’s now in the same boat as Catwoman. Mister Freeze wouldn’t really see the point considering he just cares about his wife. Killer Croc would probably join. He’s definitely an alternative. I could go on and on, but that’s my list 😊.
Any list that includes Joker or Harley is showing a distinct lack of originality. Any list that includes Bane shows a lack of understanding for how Bane works.
The problem with Batman’s villains is many of them are bloodthirsty and have egos… meaning they don’t team up often cause they’d always double cross each other
@@laughslapproductions4690and most of them absolutely hate each other. The only one that seems capable of working with any of the others long term is Penguin and mostly because he happens to like the particular niche he fills and the others like him there just as much
For me, I kinda thought of this concept as “What are Batman’s equivalents to Spidey’s rogues?” 1. The Penguin as Doc Ock. They are both masterminds, they both are more of an intellectual challenge rather than a physical one, and they both have experience leading. 2. Clayface as Sandman. This one is pretty obvious. They are also the more sympathetic villains on the roster. 3. Bane as Kraven the Hunter. They are both genius tacticians. They both not only want to kill the hero, but they tie all of their self worth to their ability to kill the hero. Poison Ivy as Electro. They both have elemental powers, but they also don’t hold killing the hero as their main objective. They both view Bats and Spidey more as obstacles than anything else. Scarecrow as Mysterio, or alternatively, Riddler as Mysterio. These are pretty self explanatory as well. I’d personally go with Scarecrow so that we don’t have as much green on the roster. Finally, Mr. Freeze as the Vulture. They are both older. They have both been screwed over by corporations. And having Freeze join the team maybe because Penguin is promising him some sort of cure for his wife would be interesting. Alternatively, Killer Croc could fill this role as well. He might not have the ability to fly, but just like Tombs, he is extremely bitter at the world and his respective hero.
True, tho there’s no way a Batman sinister six wouldn’t have killer Croc. Most modern sinister six interpretations rarely adapt the og group. Actually, I can’t even think of one instance where it was. Like these days, the Rhino is a guaranteed sinister six member, and killer Croc would be the rhino equivalent in a batman sinister six group so yea I would go with your alternative of Croc instead of freeze
I agree with the process but my team would be: Riddler as Doc Ock (mastermind with strong personal vendetta) Mr. Freeze as Sandman (sympathetic elementalist) Bane as Kraven (genius brawler) Poison Ivy as Electro (yep) Scarecrow as Mysterio (yep) Penguin as Vulture (old with broader vendetta) The only villains I truly think are missing are Killer Croc and Two-Face.
Even though there's already been a number of villain team-ups in Batman stories from the past this concept somehow manages to still be a really exciting one. This video was a really fun watch!
It honestly would be interesting if they lean to a more psychological approach with a team consisted of mad hatter, joker, riddler, scarecrow, two face and maybe punchline so they can redeem her. It would make for a truly trippy psychological horror.
From a character perspective, who is actually going to be both willing to join the team, and who actually makes sense to join a team? What role would they have? I also want to have as diverse a team as possible from the perspective of "Who has abilities that can synergize well with other characters?" Finally I'd also want to have a team that point blank just meshes well together character-wise. I would also prefer if no members knew Bruce Wayne's identity since that would undermine the actual threat of the team from a story telling perspective since why would someone who knew his identity work with others without sharing it. With all of this in mind we can rule out quite a bit of Batman's rogues. Joker, Pyg, Hugo Strange, Black Mask, Zsasz, Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, and Hush as well as a few others don't match this criteria so I'm fine ruling them out. Now, onto the actual team members. 1) Prometheus, I'm picking a strange character to lead but I think this makes sense. This team would work as a Batman-centered mirror of the Justice League and Prometheus fits as the batman clone and tactical strategist. He is also severely underutilized and having him be the main antagonist would help to bump up the actual threat he possesses. (Alternative options could be Deathstroke or Bronze Tiger but Prometheus is more directly related to Batman than either of those) 2) Killer Croc, Croc would serve as the straight muscle of the group. I debated between him and Grundy but overall I think Croc would be better since he also covers the aquatic role. 3) Firefly, I wanted an aerial Vulture-esque character and Firefly seems like a pretty straightforward fit. A flying man with a flamethrower covers two bases for me since a heat based threat would synergize super nicely with the next member 4) Mr. Freeze, alright, so far this team is filled with C-Listers so I wanted to add some star power to it. Mr. Freeze also adds some nice utility to the team since ice powers pair wonderfully with Firefly. A creative writer could possibly do something with him and Croc as well since he could theoretically fill any location with ice and then melt it so Croc could be an aquatic threat. 5) Scarecrow, this one just makes the most sense to me and seems to be the most common pick from everybody else in the comments. Mysterio proves that illusions work nicely with any other character and I could see Scarecrow being Prometheus' right hand in this team. I also wanted to add a more human character that doesn't have to be a physical threat to Batman at all times. 6) Cluemaster, The final pick could go to just about anyone but I went with Cluemaster since this team needs a more standard intelligent character and since I ruled out Riddler I think it makes the most sense to go with another character that hasn't had a time in the spotlight in a long time. With that said I was pretty close to giving this spot to Clayface or Deadshot just to add another A-Lister here but Cluemaster seems like a more fitting inclusion since he's a riddler type of character that isn't opposed to working in a team.
I feel like Ra's Al Ghul or Riddler would be the one most likely to put such a team together. Maybe Hugo Strange. Hugo might choose some of his patients from Arkham to team together and assault Batman's psychology like you propose.
I think there's a couple of people who could do it, sure, but Penguin is the guy with the connections, money and the need for help. Ra's already has his League and connections with Villains like Bane. Riddler could do it but it seems rather pedestrian for him. Prometheus could do it if he needed to.
It's Redundant for Ras to put such a team together when he has the League of Assasins at his fingertips. Riddler has a huge ego so im not sure if he would do it. It would basically mean admitting he can't beat Batman by himself. Penguin seems like the best choice, he's probably one of the few Batman Villians that doesn't simply see him as a challenge and would genuinely want to kill him enough to do something like building a team against him
@@OK-yy6qz Those are good points. It just seems like all these years in the comics and you would think all the mastermind villains would have tried this by now. I guess Riddler sort of did assemble a group of villains for Hush but it wasn't like a direct recruitment thing, so maybe that was already the best version of that storyline.
This would be my Batman's Sinister Six: 1. Bane. Considering his experience with being a tactician, he would lead the group. That and being the bruiser makes for a more interesting dynamic. 2. Riddler. What is the "brawn" without the "brain"? Riddler is my second pick because of his capability to challenge the Dark Knight's intelligence. There is an added plus with his riddle rooms for Bane to analyze Batman's actions carefully. 3. Penguin. Oswald here is more of the background support with his resources. Manpower, firepower, real estate- if it can be bought with money, Penguin can do it. This will help the Six with gathering what they need. And if push comes to shove, Penguin knows his guns and umbrellas very well. 4. Clayface (Basil Karlow) This team needed some environmental control and trickery, and Clayface fits this bill. Even transforming into objects is within his repertoire. That, and being the Wild Card Support in combat makes him even better. I considered Poison Ivy as well, but Clayface's powers are a bit more versatile for Bane. Also, he can aid #6 so well with his acting capabilities and his shape shifting. 5. Killer Moth. A lesser villain, Killer Moth fits the Ranged Support of this team so well, especially since he can fly with his suit. His Cocoon Gun also adds to his supportive capabilities. You could even use his Moth Cave as this team's HQ. 6. White Rabbit (Jaina Hudson). An even lesser known villain than Killer Moth, her Power of Bio-Fission and her Deception skills make her the final fit. She is known to lure Batman into traps, especially since she and Bruce Wayne were in a relationship at one point. Despite her Bio-Fission making her Jaina Side not want to help this Six, White Rabbit fits so well with what Bane needs: the Bait and Switch. Besides, she has helped Clayface and Bane before, so her capabilities are well known to both.
Joker works in the sense that he’d be the reason the Sinister Six internally combusts, and this would lead to a Batman vs Joker climax. So, the threat becomes its most dangerous when Joker flies solo, the stakes ramp up to a hundred, but at the same time it makes the situation actually winnable for Batman which wasn’t the case before.
I feel a Sinister Six type team up could be used as a way to use lesser used villains. Bane (Eduardo Dorrance) - The only main rouge there, strong, genius strategist. Firefly (Garfield Lynns) - Fire and flame, spreads chaos, could be used to distract Batman, or ambush him. (KG)Beast (Anatoli Kyazev) - Famed assassin and mercenary, super soldier with a gun for a hand. Prometheus (Curt Calhoun) - An Anti-Batman, self declared "God of Forethought", intelligence at times rivals Batmans. Fright (Linda Friitawa) - Former ally of Scarecrow and Penguin, breathes nerve toxins, super strength and durability. Black Spider (Eric Needham) - Trained assassin, Spiderman reference, professional gunman and webshooter.
I’m writing a book trilogy about Batman and I made a group of nine villains who are called “The Rogues” by the GCPD. Joker is not among them because he works alone but the group as it stands now is, Hush, Poison Ivy, Bane, Scarecrow, Anarky, Ratcatcher, Two-Face, Deadshot, and Mad Hatter. They’re a very interesting team and I wanted to use some less common ones in the group too but that does not mean villains like Joker, Penguin, Mr Freeze, and Clayface won’t appear, they’re just not part of the team for various reasons
@@joshuakuhlers4590 I might post the book on my blog eventually if you’re interested. I’m starting seriously on it in a few weeks after my novel is finished being edited and being sent to the publisher
How about Taskmaster, Enchantress, Abomination, The Leader, Mordo, Killmonger and maybe the Vulture for Marvel team? Taskmaster and Killmonger for stealth operations, Enchantress for distracting security guards and slowing down male super heroes. Mordo for transporting team away from sight when necessary. Abomination for the muscle. Vulture to patrol the sky and the Leader for to organize the team and know who is best suited for what and can calculate how much time team has for what mission.
I’ve been really enjoying these videos. This would be my personal 6: Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Two-Face, Catwoman & Riddler. Keep up the entertaining content!
This is a fun little thought process. I'd say the closest Batman has had would be Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and Riddler teaming up in the Adam West film. I'd go with Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Scarecow, Man-Bat(Under the control of Scarecrow) Clayface, and being led by Bane. Joker would be fun and that would be a different group but I don't know I'd pick him.
This is a fantastic concept! I love all the teams. My team personally would be focused more on practicality, and who’s strengths would mesh well together: Bane: Leader/Strategist/Brute Force DEATHSTROKE: I can’t believe I haven’t seen more people mention him. I know he’s not purely a Batman villain, but he totally counts in my book. This will provide a combative equal to Batman (or at least close to it). Not to mention his tactical smarts also. The Riddler: I would go Joker but I just can’t be comfortable with him working in a team. The Riddler will challenge Batman mentally. Black Mask: Crime Lord. You could go with a few different crime lords. But I feel like Black Mask is the most brutal. He will provide henchman and recourses also. Clayface: Versatility, plain and simple. Although he can also be another brute force. Scarecrow: Chaos, can affect the whole city if he wants. He’s a must have.
If I were to design a Batman Sinister Six, the roster would look something like this: 1. Scarecrow: A genius and master of fear itself, he's a no-brainer for batman's sinister six! 2. Bane: Another no-brainer. Bane is one of Batman's most formidable enemies ever. Period. 3. Dr. Hugo Strange: I feel like he is absolutely perfect to be the six's mastermind. 4. The Riddler: I feel like he'd be able to design distractions for The Dark Knight while everyone else enacts the evil plan. 5. Deadshot: It's pretty simple why he'd join the six. He's very deadly and they more than likely pay really well. 6. Black Mask: He's providing most of the six's boots on the ground, and he obviously has an axe to grind against the Bat. *Important people I omitted and why* 1. Joker: Doesn't play well with others. 2. Two-Face: See #1. 3. Penguin: I think he'd feel that this is way too risky. 4. Ra's Al Ghul: See #1. 5. Mr. Freeze: See #1 6. Poison Ivy: Doesn't play well with people who aren't Harley. 7. Harley Quinn: She's either with the Joker, with Poison Ivy, or is a good guy. 8. Clay Face: Too similar to Bane. 9. Man-Bat: Too animalistic. 10. Killer Croc: He doesn't care. 11. Firefly: Wildcard in the bad way. 12. Catwoman: She's honestly not even a villain anymore.
Okay, that second lineup aligned along shared characteristics with Batman is fucking brilliant! And you can rotate team members through also using the same characteristics i.e., Deathstroke for Bane or Hush for Two-Face. Awesome concept!
I feel like it's important that each member is different to the other, like a difference in tactics or abilities. My personal Sinister Six would probably be: Hush, Bane, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Penguin (I know it's similar to Team 4). Hush would be the leader as he's got an actual personal grievance, not with Batman, but with Bruce. He's also a master manipulator and can likely convince the other villains to join the team. Hush is a master puppeteer, as well as a master of disguise (can disguise himself as other people with skin grafts) and can pose as Bruce and ruin his public reputation, forcing Batman to deal with both Bat-problems and Bruce-problems. Bane would be the enforcer and tactical genius. Mr. Freeze is the smartest and would invent stuff for the team or the grunts. Poison Ivy could hold the city hostage by turning it into a jungle. Scarecrow will psychologically mess with Batman. Penguin will fund the operation and control the streets.
Poison Ivy only cares about the green…She will not agree. Raś Al Gul can be the leader who wants them to do his dirty job and knows Bruce, of course he has plans for the team after defeating Batman. Replace Hush with Raś and Ivy with the Riddler who will keep hostages and will make a great side quest
@@SanadaSanadaSanada I watched the movie…still replacing Hush with Raś is effective. He is a warrior, a tactician and has decades or centuries of experience as a leader. Just my thoughts.
Excluding Joker makes sense, Green Goblin is typically considered Spider-Man biggest villain and he often isn't on Sinister Six incarnations. Also If I had to make a team it would be: Ra's al Ghul (the mastermind, filling the Ock role. He normallt wouldn't team up with these guys but I imagine this could all be a way to push Batman to his limits as a sort of test) Bane (your tactical fighter and muscle, much like Kraven, and works mostly well on a team going off of Secret Six) Firefly (airborne threat like Vulture and your unhinged element user like Electro, he can be hired so that makes getting him on board easier) Scarecrow (fills Mysterio's "illusionist" role via fear toxin, he always seems up for messing with Bats.) Clayface (your super powered power house like Sandman, could easily cover for Ra's too so the former can stay in the background) Last spot I'd either give to Poison Ivy or Deathstroke, both could work on the team so it really depends on which is better for the plot.
For the first team, I could see Riddler dropping hints as to both where he's at, as well as the villains he'll face. One who broke the Bat's will and back One who's 'two' excited to pick up the slack One who loves a good punch line One who's smarter than the divine One who shows you a great fear And one who's dressed for the gala this year! (I'm too lazy to think of other teams for Riddler tbh) There would either be some blacklights in the room where this message is kept, or Morse code in the message somewhere where the reader can also find. Something that would make them feel as smart as Batman
I know this is probably just me, but personally, I like whenever the Sinsiter Six have a certain theme or a connecting trait that ties them together, and typically that trait is that all their abilities stem from technology, such as armor and gadgetry. For this reason, my ideal S6 lineup is Doc Ock, Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion, Shocker, and Hobgoblin. Other times, I prefer when they are all animal themed, which would lead to the inclusion of other members such as Lizard and/or Beetle. For Batman, I would probably go the same route. You could do a lineup of elemental based villains including Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Clayface, Firefly, Electrocutioner, and someone else (obviously Condiment King). You could also go the route of villains who frequently utilize toxic/mind-altering gases in their crimes, such as Joker, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, Doctor Death, and Copperhead. You could even do a lineup of strictly mob bosses including the Penguin, Two-Face, Killer Croc, Ventriloquist, Black Mask, and Great White Shark. Just a few ideas for anyone like me who prefers when super villain teams have a connecting characteristic amongst themselves.
Dope concept, although me personally if I made a sinister six for batman I would try to mirror Spider-Man’s sinister six a bit more. I mean obviously the lineup has changed a million times but usually there’s a few main consistencies, which is actually another reason why I don’t think joker would fit. Also my list here is gonna be mirroring the OG sinister six lineup 1. For the leader of my six, I’d actually put the riddler. Usually, Doc Ock is the leader of the six, and I think that riddler mirrors a lot of the traits that doc ock has, especially the ones that cause him to lead the team, they both are narcissists, both are on a really high intellectual level, both obsess over the heroes to a delusional level, etc 2. Clayface would make a good member since his powers both add an environmental hazard to the fight and he can adapt to most of what batman throws at him, similar to sandman. 3. Bane, he’s highly skilled both as a fighter and as a strategist, he would easily make a good filler for kraven 4. Scarecrow, I’d put him in place of mysterio because his fear gas could bring in that psychological factor that mysterio brings into a fight 5. Firefly, in replace of vulture, I think firefly could cover airways while also providing extra environmental support for the team with his flamethrower 6. Poison Ivy/Mr Freeze, either or could really work, they both are forces of nature especially ivy which makes me lean more towards her, which would make for a smooth replacement of electro. I know neither of them have electric powers but they both can pull off extensive area control with their powers and drastically change how Batman has to approach his enemies. A couple footnotes, I chose to avoid certain characters for obvious reasons, for example joker I feel like he’s a lot like the green goblin, who even tho was the leader of the six at some points, usually isn’t a part of that team let alone in charge, especially in mainstream stories (I can recall death of ultimate Spider-Man but I think that’s it). Plus like in the video joker doesn’t really work well w others, if he lead a sinister six he’d kill ‘em all on purpose. Ra’s Al Ghul was another viable option to being the leader, but I just feel like first off it’d be way against character for him to team up w criminals, plus he likes Batman so he wouldn’t join a team created in opposition to him. Just some small shit like that really
I think for my version of the team, I’d go with the following: Doc Ock: Either Penguin or The Riddler! Oswald would have the resources, and the financial tools to organize a team, and Nygma definently has the smarts, and drive to gather everyone together. Electro: since you need someone with high levels of a superhuman ability.. I’d go with Poison Ivy! Mysterio: Definitely the Scarecrow! Both Quinten Beck and Dr. Crane use scientific weapons to completely gain the edge over the heroes, so I’d say he’d be the best choice. Sandman: Obviously my choice would be Clayface! Both villains have the same abilities, and the same desire to gain wealth and ego.. just Basil would easily kill to gain it; only major difference. Kraven: Hmm.. someone who can strategize the other members into direct positions to take out the hero, plus can also handle the Batman on his own, with a advantage. My first choice would be Bane! If not him, then maaaybe Prof. Hugo Strange!? Vulture: Now this would be a hard one for me. My first choice would be Mr. Freeze! Both villains are older, and have been screwed over the companies they’ve developed there gadgets, and careers for. Plus, both villains see there heroes as major obstacles that constantly stand in their ways to success. Yet, this team could use a flying character. Just as Adrian provided eye-in-the-sky surveillance for the Six.. a good equivalent would be Firefly!
If you want to go for a more literal vulture, there’s also man-bat. You could say they freed him from experimentation and kept him as a pet or something.
The funny thing about your personal pick is that 5/6 of them are ALL arguably an intellectual match for Bruce in their own way. Poison Ivy in particular I think gets underestimated in the intelligence department way more than she should given the fact that she's, you know, a scientist.
Watching this video, it occurred to me that Hugo Strange, who is constantly trying to havethe monopoly of knowing Batman's secret identity would be a natual enemy to all the other villains that share the secret. I could easily see a story of Bats going slowly nuts trying to keep Strange and Ra's from killing each other.
@@JeremiahEcks777 The game was how old, exactly? did it already hitthe decade mark? It's like wondering if Vader is Luke's father can constitute a spoiler. I do thing thewre's a shelf life for this kind of thing too. No sweat.
@@sergioaccioly5219 It is about a decade old, yeah. I agree with you that older things should be a bit 'Fair play' but just didn't want to upset a random bloke on the net! Thanks for your kindness! To be fair I didn't "spoil" a lot as I'm really twisting the actual plot a bit to fit your scenario - it isn't about Strange and Ra's fighting each other - but... Well... stuff happens that would indicate why I said what I said. 🙏 IIRC I don't think Strange figures out the identity himself in Arkham but Ra's tells him... or it might be that Talia knows but Strange tells Ra's. I can't remember.
Riddler and Scarecrow would be an absolute must for a Sinister Six against Batman. Hush would probably be a Mastermind of the group. The other 6 maybe Clayface cause he teams up alot. Bane and Poison Ivy.
In one movie, Batman: Year One I believe, Harvey Dent breaks a group of villains out of arkham to storm one of the mob boss's stronghold. I dont remember the exact count but there was certainly a bunch of them. That is probably the closest I've seen to a sinister six in a batman story. There was also the assasins from Arkham Origins, but they were hardly a team, they were even fighting eachother a few times to my memory.
@@gavinknouse6306 Cheers for the info. I think if you took out Catwoman and grundy that'd be a solid sinister six. I think poison ivy makes up for the lack of normal muscle, and I'm sure dent and penguin could work with each other if it meant no more batman.
Deathstroke, Deadshot, Bane, Clayface, Penguin and Joker. You have Deathstroke and Bane posing a great physical threat and mental one. Clayface can be used to turn into anyone Batman needs to save and be used as a trap. Deadshot to back up anyone who needs it. Penguin with an army of goons and good funding while Joker leads it all.
The thing about the sinister 6 is that there are many variants and teams that hold at least 3 core members or founders if you will. My idea is to take every villain from batman and find the Spider-Man equivalent like joker and green goblin, or doc ock and Mr freeze. Then just match the teams the way Spiderman did it.
If I were to create a Sinister Six for Batman, I think I'd actually stitch together some of the character ideas and team ideas together to make a team that would entirely match with Batman Bane - The leader, the man who matches with Bruce's peak human strength and tactics, and the only one to break the bat Riddler - Matching his intelligence and contrasting Batman's detective skills with his riddles Scarecrow - Matching with their use of fear and a man who can understand how Batman ticks Two-Face - Matching with Bruce's split identities and formerly one his closest friends, making it hurt more for Bruce The Penguin - Matching up with Batman's money and would be able to fund the group Mr Freeze - Matching with Batman's vengeance and would be willing to take from him in order to cure himself and his wife The idea of this take on a Batman Sinister Six is considered which villians would be able to match with Batman when put together and a force that, in the minds of the team, would be able to take him down thoroughly and brutally
Spider-Man's Original Sinister Six vs Batman's Equivalent Sinister Six: Doctor Octopus v Bane Kraven The Hunter v Deathstroke Mysterio v Scarecrow Vulture v Man-Bat Electro v Poison Ivy Sandman v Clayface
Thanks for making something we all were talking about on chat into a video! 🔥, Out of these u made my personal Favourite would be probably the fourth one too but i would replace ivy with killer croc since well, hes more sinister than ivy imo and im butthurt that ivy isnt in supes rouges gallery 😂. If ur passionate enough maybe make a one for Superman too? 👀 My pick for that one would be: Lex as mastermind obviously, toyman, parasite, livewire, bruno mayhem and ultra humanite. (Didnt use someone like Brainiac and zod since they probably wouldn't work in a sinister six scenario lol, especially since they are more of a planetary lvl threat). But anyways again another banger video, keep up the great work and cya on tmorrows stream hopefully! ✌️
Very well-considered and articulated lineups! You're very right about Joker and Ra's, though. If the other adversaries did manage to pin down Batman, Joker would be just as likely to get bored and give Batman a chance to escape. For Joker, it's often not about winning. It's about the chaos that comes out of his conflict with Batman.
There was an episode of The Batman 2000's cartoon called Team Penguin where Penguin tried to assemble a Sinister Six like team, it consisted of himself, Killer Croc, Firefly, Ragdoll (a JSA villain who in that show was a batman villain), and Killer Moth. Its said in the episode Penguin tried to recruit Joker, Bane, Riddler, and Mr. Freeze but wasnt able too.
I thought about this a while ago and made my own team. -- Characters I immediately ruled out: The Joker (+ Harley): We already see that in stories like Arkham Origins where The Joker is put on a team that he does not actually work as a team player w/ any of them, and doesn't keep anyone filled in. The Sinister Six should feel like an actual team that's on the same page and working towards the same goal. The Joker's goal w/ Batman is always fundamentally different than other Batman villains. Ra's Al Ghul: Ra's just doesn't need a team. He has The League. He has Talia (sometimes) and he has Nyssa (sometimes). Ra's is likely going to be unwilling to work as a team player and he also usually has different plans for Batman compared to the rest of the villians. Mr. Freeze: He's not necessarily villainous enough to be part of an anti-Batman team in my opinion. Freeze is mostly focused on curing Nora, and typically doesn't have a big grudge against Batman. I think Freeze is always best when working alone, both character-wise and plot-wise. Catwoman: Obviously. Not really a villian. -- Here are my picks: Bane: I feel like this is an easy choice. He's big enough of a villain to confidently take on the leader role in the team. Highly intelligent tactician, and also physically intimidating. Can also deduce Batman's identity, which will give him a serious challenge on two fronts. Scarecrow: He's almost always on a team, because he works very well within one. He's not much of a fighter but can create chaos citywide and also mentally afflict Batman. The Riddler: Also works well on a team. Will challenge Batman's deductive skills the most aggressively out of the team. Easy choice. Two-Face: I think is the best choice for a villain that can provide the jobbers and bankroll the team. Also has that theme of duality and isn't completely defenseless on his own which I think puts him above Penguin here-- and Penguin is also usually more interested in controlling Gotham and accumulating wealth to focus too much on Batman-- so their relationship is antagonistic, but usually Penguin isn't gunning for Batman directly, as they often work together. Black Mask could also be here, but I think Two-Face works better thematically and is simply more popular. Poison Ivy: We need another direct combatant here, so I think Poison Ivy is a great choice. She adds the most variety to the group and is a huge threat if she gains enough power. Also, too many dudes in the group makes the dynamic a bit stale. Deadshot: Want to round out the team w/ another physical threat. This was definitely the hardest pick, and I think replacing Deadshot here w/ Clayface (though his inclusion in a team this big makes it feel crowded), or Firefly, or maybe even Hush would work. Someone a bit more low-key fits here. I think a ranged threat adds more variety though, and Deadshot fits that role the best here. Adding another brute would feel a bit redundant IMO.
I agree, Mr. Freeze only hates Batman mainly for slowing him down or preventing him from finding a cure for Nora. I would say his grudge is more towards the person responsible for why he was made into what he became and having to rely on a special suit in order to move about in temperatures well above freezing.
My personal team would consist of: Bane, Copperhead, Lady Shiva, Punchline, Gentleman Ghost, and Poison Ivy 1. We need at least 1 A-list villain leading the team, so Bane is in. 2. Copperhead and Lady Shiva are more than enough to provide a physical and tactical challenge. 3. Joker doesn't work for a team, BUT a more calculated Joker-adjacent member like Punchline is a solid fit. 4. Gentleman Ghost is my weird pick for this roster. He's not exclusively a Batman villain, which makes him unpredictable in the right way. 5. For the purpose of this story, Poison Ivy is an antihero being coerced into joining this team for personal reasons.
Honestly it would be so cool to imagine hugo strange using his position and manipulating the villains of arkham asylum to form a team to kill batman it makes so much sense
I don’t think Joker, Bane or Freeze would ever join a team to take down Batman. (Even though they did in Arkham Origins lol) So I would choose: Penguin Two-Face Killer Croc Scarecrow Riddler Clayface Incredible team 🔥🔥🔥
My sinister six has layers because I’ve thought about this for a while 1. Joker- obviously he’s team leader and will have Harley on his side. 2. Scarecrow- second hand man, also he makes all they’re toxins and gases they use 3. Mad hatter- like joker he’ll have side kicks like white rabbits and march Harriet stand ins for his own Harley Quinn. 4. Baby doll- the muscle. She’ll have killer croc goon for her 5. firefly/killer moth- I see these two as a pair and couldn’t really separate them. But they are on the lower side of the team mostly getting in the way for the rest of the team to escape. 6. zsasz- Ok the last spot was so very difficult to come up with I have an idea that they originally wanted riddler to join but he wasn’t as crazy as the rest of them so declined. And they ended up picking up zsasz to be there killer. I could go two roads with a sinister six but I think being Batman’s version would be a team of crazy people and to be honest i think this team could actually work together other then some other Batman villains like I don’t think two face would work with joker. Lots of villains have they’re own thing going on where a team isn’t needed for them but my team works well. At least for my head canon
Based on the original Sinister 6 members. Joker (Doc Ock) Poison Ivy (Electro) Bane (Kraven the Hunter) Clayface (Sandman) Scarecrow (Mysterio) Mr. Freeze (Vulture)
I immediately thought of the Secret Six but that’s a different thing (It does usually have multiple Batman villains tho) I’d love a horror team (mad scientists, psychopathic killers, and monsters) with Scarecrow, Manbat, Killer Croc, Professor Pyg, Solomon Grundy, and Hugo Strange.
I could easily see a concept like this with matt reeves batman. They already have joker and riddler the others id like to see would be ivy scarecrow clayface and mr freeze, as for penguin he'd be like kingpin in sm the animated series where he busts the 6 out of prison but isnt apart of the team. I love bane and he'd be a great member but i would like to see other villains in the batman franchise
@tyrellmultimedia and with the rumours of villain shows like the penguin one I could see it, something tells me if this was the lineup since clayface has been rumoured along with scarecrow and with reeves wanting to do freeze I could see freeze betraying the team to help bats since all he wants is to save his wife kinda like when sandman helped spidey in the comics but never know how reeves wants to portray them
Honestly, I love the idea of Ra's Al Ghul as the leader of Batman's Sinister 6. To me, it makes the most sense for him to be the leader even if he would kill the other members for not doing things his way. I also love how you included Scarecrow on all 4 teams
Ive thought about this concept a lot, and your first team is identical to mine. Although I switched out Joker for Poison Ivy, as I felt the Joker wouldnt work with the other villains and they wouldnt want to risk it either. But it was a hard decision to make
I would go for a team that’s just straight up trying to assassinate Batman and have the best chance of taking him out for good. For me it’s: Deathstroke, Bane, Talon, Hush, Deadshot, and…Ras al Ghul, though he would likely not willingly be a part of it
Id say personally, just based on the dynamic and the characters, bane, scarecrow, twoface, clayface, mad hatter and hush, (or firefly for the wild card) Imagine a fight with these six, bane, a man smarter and stronger than batman as the otto of the group, two face adding an element of chance and remorse, as well as his experience running gangs to organize the crew, scarecrow and mad hatter working together to completey destroy batmans mind and clayface and hush being themselves, it would be awesome. And it would exploit batmans detective side while also physically pushing him to the limit, and tapping in to the man side of batman, its got elements of all the best batman stories. I personally dont like the concept of the joker in a group like this, as it sort of goes against everything he stands for, and his character just works better as a sole villain that allows for his dynamic with batman to shine.
My sinister six would be: 1. The riddler - who would be the mastermind 2. Black mask - who would take over the criminal life in Gotham 3. Deadshot - Whos job would be to lead the Black Masks army on a manhunt 4. Clayface - Who would infiltrate in the city hall 5. Scarecrow - Who would be the logistic guy supplying drugs and fear toxin 6. Poison ivy - Who would use her power to block the city boarders
For me personally…I’m going with Black Mask, Catwoman, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, Bane, and KGBeast!! No disrespect to Joker, but want to give other Batman villains, a chance tbh
Considering the motivations and the ideologies of Batman's villains, I think the most challenging part about a Batman Sinister Six is creating a team that WOULD work together. If the writers can pull that off, then they could have a great story.
My lineup would be: Ra’s (The leader and providing LoA assets) Bane (As second in command and head of ground tactics) Scarecrow (Using his gas to weaken Batman’s resolve) Clayface (To infiltrate and gather info on what Batman is doing) Mr Freeze (Building gadgets and machines to aid the team) Killer Croc (The wildcard the team unleashes to cause chaos)
1. Penguin-Doc Ock 2. Scarecrow-Mysterio 3. Fire Fly-Vulture 4. Clayface-Sandman 5. Deathstroke-Kraven 6. Electrocutioner-Electro…Batman has to take one of them down with ease 😆
For my Sinister Six i tried to get a team with attributes similar to teammates from the original team (Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture) I would pick Mr Freeze (Doc Ock) Scarecrow (Mysterio) Man Bat (Vulture) Clayface (Sandman) Deathstroke (Kraven) With Bane to fill out the last spot
Team 3 is exactly what I'd think that a sinister six for Batman would be. They play off of numerous aspects of Batman, seem like they could work together well, and there's still ways to exploit each member so that things can be turned against them. Riddler and Bane could fight over intellectual superiority, Man-Bat could be used by Scarecrow as a pawn in hallucinations he gives Batman and use his fear toxin to trick Man-Bat into staying on their side, and Two-Face and Freeze could be wild cards in the way that Two-Face's coin can change a situation and Freeze could turn on the others if Nora is threatened in some way by them. This lineup genuinely has a good deal of thought put into it and seems like it could make for a great story for a game. I feel like Scarecrow would be the one to put this team together, in attempt to break Batman in his entire psyche by using every aspect of his own personality and skillset against him. Though Team 4 seems like the most likely one they'd do, since it's all big names and such. It's not a bad lineup, but the 3rd one is much more methodical and clever.
I love this concept and wanna see it happen so bad. I couldn't ever see Joker, Ra's, or Ivy being a part of one of these team ups, though. I want to leave them out of the team because they're too invested in what they want. 1st pick is obvious: Bane. Gotta have someone that's going to test Batman's strength, and there's no one that could do that better than Bane. For once, I mainly only want Bane for his muscles and not necessarily for his brain, so the group would need a supply of venom and therefore money, leading me to the second member. 2nd is Penguin. This group needs a financial foundation, and Penguin is kinda just that guy. Plus I love the idea of the group trying to outfund Bruce. Also, I think Cobblepot's past with the Wayne family makes him a perfect candidate for the team. 3rd I have another rogue that has a deep personal connection to Bruce being Hush. I think having Elliot be a part of the team would be awesome, especially since I want to set this team up to learn Batman's identity. Beyond that, he's a great tactician that above anything else, would be able to get into Bruce/Batman's head. 4th is going to have to be someone to deal with the rest of the Batfamily. I think the man for that job is easily Deathstroke, seeing as he can solo most of the Justice League. He's also one of the few people in DC to really hold their own against Batman in combat. He's pretty op, which is why for the most part, I want him keeping Batman's allies in check. 5th is Scarecrow. He's the middleman that can really help anywhere he's needed. He can assist Bane or Deathstroke in a match with Batman or the Batfamily, he could help plot against Batman with Hush and the leader of the group, or he could just cause general chaos in Gotham. He's a good every-man for the team which is really what I needed to round things out. 6th and last is the leader of the team. Someone smart to unify/manipulate the team and plan everything from the shadows, but also someone to deduce that Batman is Bruce Wayne. I think the best person for that job is Hugo Strange.
Best part of Spider-Man's Sinister Six is the capacity for collateral damage and scope of epic tag team boss fights. With that in mind, my Sinister Six for Batman consists of... Ras - The leader of the team Poison Ivy - The one woman army Clayface - The bruiser Mr Freeze - The sympathetic focal point and technological genius Firefly - The most mobile, possibly the wild card, and let's be real has good synergy with Freeze Scarecrow - The one infusing their attacks with a bit of nightmare fuel I know Batman outwits his enemies a lot of the time, but it would be cool to watch him take on a threat he hast to punch his way out of
Honestly i can’t imagine the other villains wanting to invite Joker to anything, let alone an organized villain team I do love the idea that Joker gets pissed off that they wouldnt invite him out of suspicion that he would mess their operation up (which he definitely would) and maybe deciding to sabotage them by helping Batman, directly or from the shadows
My Batman Sinster 6 would be Deathstroke: The Strategist and Tactician Deadshot: The Sharpshooter Penguin: The Man With The Money Hugo Strange: The Expoiter Scarecrow: The Manipulator Bane: The Heavy Hitter
1. Sin Tzu or Bane as Leader 2 and 3. Man-Bat and Doctor Phosphorus as superhuman muscle. 4. Philo Zeiss as the enhanced Assassin. 5. Deadshot as the long-range specialist. 6. Doctor Death as a the scientist with super serum support.
@@tyrellmultimedia I know Sin Tzu should be like Ra’s Batman’s ultimate villain just as smart and legendary as a warrior. Zeiss is a Deathstroke replacement since they both are enhanced assassins/mercenaries that allows them to match up with Batman’s legendary fighting skills. Also, Deathstroke is a Titans villain and Zeiss is solely a Batman villain. You should do a video overview of these two like a segment of forgotten Batman villains. Doctor Death and Mad Monk too.
I love the idea of a Batman sinister six but i would also really like some thematic alliances in his rogues: I recommend: The Four Freaks an alliance between Killer Croc, Clayface,Manbat and Solomon Grundy. Since they tend to be used as goons make them team up not only against Batman but to wreak havoc to whatever Gang mistreats them as well
I actually had this idea that Two-Face, as mayor of Gotham, would pull a 90s Kingpin and be the one to summon the Sinister Six together, disguised as a reform project for the mentally ill but secretly they’re a dangerous team enacting his less-than-legal order. The team consists of Riddler (the tactician and advisor), Killer Croc (the muscle), Poison Ivy (the manipulator and true powerhouse), Scarecrow (scientist and controller), Mr. Freeze (the leader and the tactician after “something” happens to Riddler), and a dealer’s choice of either Clayface, Catwoman, or Deadshot.
I agree w team 4. Ivy in a team with these scary villain? Def a good threat. How challenging would it be to fight this team including the fact they all have fighting style vers different and particular and can destroy areas
Funny thing is that the first list is comprised of every first and second villain in the ‘chain of command’ of each chapter of Lego Batman. I’m sure they had a similar idea.
1- Bane 2- Scarecrow 3- Riddler 4- Clayface 5- Deadhsot or Deathstroke 6- Mad Hatter or Poison Ivy I feel Bane would be the leader who would assemble the team and the others all contribute in their own unique ways. Scarecrow ans Riddler psychological threats, Ivy-Hatter with mind control, Clayface is a powerhouse and Deathstroke-Deadshot would be excellent assasins
Comic class? I’ve never heard of that, that’s cool
Bane is also a good representation of Bruce's intelligence
Yea Batman doesn’t have the best rogues gallery, Spider-Man does. Nice try trying to throw that in there tho!!!
@@zzirfamo24 I disagree, mostly in terms of the villains designs, green goblin looks really goofy, doc ock is not intimidating in the slightest, vulture's suit looks dumb and in terms of writing, not all of Peter's villains parallel him the way Batman's do
“Arkham Batman is my favorite Batman”
“I find Riddler pretty annoying”
These statements make sense together 😂
They could have made him so much less annoying, he talks way too damn much. Even for the Riddler. It didn't help that his challenges usually ended up being tedious rather than engaging.
Anyone know how to get the image from the thumbnail??
I always loved Arkham riddler and find him perfect. He should be a cheating, jealous, whiny, narcissistic and annoying person
@@Tenkiller10Nah, I loved Arkham Riddler, he might be my favorite version of the character.
@@Tenkiller10tell that to the races. Every time I get to Condemned, it gets my blood rushing
My takeaway form this video is that scarecrow is objectively the best Batman villain
Can't and won't argue that.
He's up there but he ain't bane
They should have him more scenes in Arkham knight and remove all the stupid Jason Todd crap
@@HAIL_TO_THE_KING5 EX-FUCKIN-SCUE ME
He also just seems like he's a team player, he's smart enough to know end goals and not screw things up for the lolz
I think my ideal lineup would be:
Bane (as the leader), Scarecrow, Clayface, Mr.
That line up is actually genius
Jucied up bane or perfect bane as the leader
Fun choices and I love the pick of Man Bat but have to ask why him and Killer Croc?
I mean he’s teamed up with Luthor
@@retr0sfunkadelix And how long did that last? And did it ever become a recurring thing that didn’t somehow lead to Joker just doing his own thing?
@@YasaByYasa about as long as the sinister six usually stick together : a few days
@@retr0sfunkadelix Fair
Any list that includes Joker or Harley is showing a distinct lack of originality.
Any list that includes Bane shows a lack of understanding for how Bane works.
Dope concept. I wonder if they'd ever think to do this in a story or comic. Usually, they bust out all the villians for him to fight.
I'm honestly suprised they haven't done something like this already.
I agree. Marvel and DC always steal ideas from each other anyways so they should do a sinister 6 type thing with Batman
The problem with Batman’s villains is many of them are bloodthirsty and have egos… meaning they don’t team up often cause they’d always double cross each other
@@laughslapproductions4690and most of them absolutely hate each other. The only one that seems capable of working with any of the others long term is Penguin and mostly because he happens to like the particular niche he fills and the others like him there just as much
they already did in arkham origins
For me, I kinda thought of this concept as “What are Batman’s equivalents to Spidey’s rogues?”
@@Albino_Basilisk True, It was between the OG lineup or the Spectacular lineup for me.
I agree with the process but my team would be:
Riddler as Doc Ock (mastermind with strong personal vendetta)
Mr. Freeze as Sandman (sympathetic elementalist)
Bane as Kraven (genius brawler)
Poison Ivy as Electro (yep)
Scarecrow as Mysterio (yep)
Penguin as Vulture (old with broader vendetta)
The only villains I truly think are missing are Killer Croc and Two-Face.
@@waldo109 Two Face is my all time favorite Batman villain, but I feel like the rest of the rogues wouldn’t want to deal with his coin shenanigans.
Forgot about Deathstroke
Even though there's already been a number of villain team-ups in Batman stories from the past this concept somehow manages to still be a really exciting one. This video was a really fun watch!
Glad you enjoyed it Deoxy!
(Alternative options could be Deathstroke or Bronze Tiger but Prometheus is more directly related to Batman than either of those)
2) Killer Croc, Croc would serve as the straight muscle of the group. I debated between him and Grundy but overall I think Croc would be better since he also covers the aquatic role.
3) Firefly, I wanted an aerial Vulture-esque character and Firefly seems like a pretty straightforward fit. A flying man with a flamethrower covers two bases for me since a heat based threat would synergize super nicely with the next member
4) Mr.
With that said I was pretty close to giving this spot to Clayface or Deadshot just to add another A-Lister here but Cluemaster seems like a more fitting inclusion since he's a riddler type of character that isn't opposed to working in a team.
insane. just insane. in the best way possible
The riddler and joker won’t share they want to best the bat
Clay face instead of cluemaster and this is perfect
I went with Prometheus too, before I read your comments. Very good choice!
I feel like Ra's Al Ghul or Riddler would be the one most likely to put such a team together. Maybe Hugo Strange. Hugo might choose some of his patients from Arkham to team together and assault Batman's psychology like you propose.
I would think Penguin would do the same
I think there's a couple of people who could do it, sure, but Penguin is the guy with the connections, money and the need for help.
This would be my Batman's Sinister Six:
Umm the name' The rogues' is already taken.
Anarchy is a good pick especially for a team up, and I agree joker doesn’t do teams, if he does it’s more like human chess for him.
That sounds awsome, love me some Mad Hatter
@@joshuakuhlers4590 I might post the book on my blog eventually if you’re interested. I’m starting seriously on it in a few weeks after my novel is finished being edited and being sent to the publisher
For team 3, you could have it so Riddler put some sort of shock collar on Man-Bat, and basically has him trained as a pet.
It’s honestly crazy how many Batman villains are so good that it makes it hard for him to have a Sinister 6, he in reality has an Evil 11
Hush is such an underrated and/or underused character. The concept and backstory alone is one of the strongest parts of his character
I always wondered what marvel villains would Amanda Waller choose for the suicide squad. I think taskmaster would be a good choice.
My team personally would be focused more on practicality, and who’s strengths would mesh well together:
Bane: Leader/Strategist/Brute Force
DEATHSTROKE: I can’t believe I haven’t seen more people mention him.
If I were to design a Batman Sinister Six, the roster would look something like this:
*Important people I omitted and why*
1. Joker: Doesn't play well with others.
2. Two-Face: See #1.
3. Penguin: I think he'd feel that this is way too risky.
4. Ra's Al Ghul: See #1.
5. Mr. Freeze: See #1
Good team and good reasons!
@@adityamanhas8599 she was deceived in both the comics and movie by Hush.
@@SanadaSanadaSanada I watched the movie…still replacing Hush with Raś is effective. He is a warrior, a tactician and has decades or centuries of experience as a leader. Just my thoughts.
Bane, Deathstroke, Scarecrow, Deadshot, Hugo Strange and Clayface.
Excluding Joker makes sense, Green Goblin is typically considered Spider-Man biggest villain and he often isn't on Sinister Six incarnations.
Also If I had to make a team it would be:
Ra's al Ghul (the mastermind, filling the Ock role. He normallt wouldn't team up with these guys but I imagine this could all be a way to push Batman to his limits as a sort of test)
Bane (your tactical fighter and muscle, much like Kraven, and works mostly well on a team going off of Secret Six)
Firefly (airborne threat like Vulture and your unhinged element user like Electro, he can be hired so that makes getting him on board easier)
Scarecrow (fills Mysterio's "illusionist" role via fear toxin, he always seems up for messing with Bats.)
Clayface (your super powered power house like Sandman, could easily cover for Ra's too so the former can stay in the background)
Last spot I'd either give to Poison Ivy or Deathstroke, both could work on the team so it really depends on which is better for the plot.
For the first team, I could see Riddler dropping hints as to both where he's at, as well as the villains he'll face.
One who broke the Bat's will and back
One who's 'two' excited to pick up the slack
One who loves a good punch line
One who's smarter than the divine
One who shows you a great fear
And one who's dressed for the gala this year!
(I'm too lazy to think of other teams for Riddler tbh)
There would either be some blacklights in the room where this message is kept, or Morse code in the message somewhere where the reader can also find.
Also my list here is gonna be mirroring the OG sinister six lineup
1. For the leader of my six, I’d actually put the riddler. Usually, Doc Ock is the leader of the six, and I think that riddler mirrors a lot of the traits that doc ock has, especially the ones that cause him to lead the team, they both are narcissists, both are on a really high intellectual level, both obsess over the heroes to a delusional level, etc
2. Clayface would make a good member since his powers both add an environmental hazard to the fight and he can adapt to most of what batman throws at him, similar to sandman.
3. Bane, he’s highly skilled both as a fighter and as a strategist, he would easily make a good filler for kraven
4. Scarecrow, I’d put him in place of mysterio because his fear gas could bring in that psychological factor that mysterio brings into a fight
5. Firefly, in replace of vulture, I think firefly could cover airways while also providing extra environmental support for the team with his flamethrower
I like team 3 the most, just replacing man bat with clayface. Bane seems like the most likely leader of the team.
I think for my version of the team, I’d go with the following:
Doc Ock: Either Penguin or The Riddler!
Bane wouldn't be a lackey for anybody else and he'd do his own thing. I went for Prometheus in the Kraven role. Maybe Lady Shiva could work too?
@@JeremiahEcks777I would go deathstroke for kraven role
The funny thing about your personal pick is that 5/6 of them are ALL arguably an intellectual match for Bruce in their own way. Poison Ivy in particular I think gets underestimated in the intelligence department way more than she should given the fact that she's, you know, a scientist.
I love your ability to break these characters down. Well done.
Without watching, Joker, penguin, two face, scarecrow, bane, Mr. Freeze
Yup but got to be realistic that most jokers won't work with others without some gain through betraying them.
Also known as Arkham City?
@@JeremiahEcks777 I didn't know that was the plot of the game. Thx
@@sergioaccioly5219 Sorry, I hope you didn't consider that a spoiler?

😵💫
IIRC I don't think Strange figures out the identity himself in Arkham but Ra's tells him... or it might be that Talia knows but Strange tells Ra's.
It was Harvey Dent, Mad Hatter, Joker, Solomon Grundy, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Catwoman
Group 3 would be perfect, I would love to see that in comics or movies
This is where the fun begins
Ra's al ghul, Deathstroke, Bane, Black Mask, Penguin and Two Face are my personal picks for Batman's sinister six
If I were to create a Sinister Six for Batman, I think I'd actually stitch together some of the character ideas and team ideas together to make a team that would entirely match with Batman
Bane - The leader, the man who matches with Bruce's peak human strength and tactics, and the only one to break the bat
Riddler - Matching his intelligence and contrasting Batman's detective skills with his riddles
Scarecrow - Matching with their use of fear and a man who can understand how Batman ticks
Two-Face - Matching with Bruce's split identities and formerly one his closest friends, making it hurt more for Bruce
The Penguin - Matching up with Batman's money and would be able to fund the group
Mr Freeze - Matching with Batman's vengeance and would be willing to take from him in order to cure himself and his wife
The idea of this take on a Batman Sinister Six is considered which villians would be able to match with Batman when put together and a force that, in the minds of the team, would be able to take him down thoroughly and brutally
Spider-Man's Original Sinister Six vs Batman's Equivalent Sinister Six:
Doctor Octopus v Bane
Kraven The Hunter v Deathstroke
Mysterio v Scarecrow
Vulture v Man-Bat
Electro v Poison Ivy
Sandman v Clayface
I Was waiting on Ivy the whole video honestly, I'm happy Yu see her the way I see her!
George Clooney, Joel Schumacher, Joss Whedon, Walter Hamada, producers and McDonald's.
Boom done.
Thanks for making something we all were talking about on chat into a video! 🔥,
Out of these u made my personal Favourite would be probably the fourth one too but i would replace ivy with killer croc since well, hes more sinister than ivy imo and im butthurt that ivy isnt in supes rouges gallery 😂.
If ur passionate enough maybe make a one for Superman too? 👀
My pick for that one would be: Lex as mastermind obviously, toyman, parasite, livewire, bruno mayhem and ultra humanite. (Didnt use someone like Brainiac and zod since they probably wouldn't work in a sinister six scenario lol, especially since they are more of a planetary lvl threat).
But anyways again another banger video, keep up the great work and cya on tmorrows stream hopefully! ✌️
Glad you enjoyed it Temple! And ya I'll start working on a Superman one! I already have some ideas!
Mine would be:
Croc - Rhino
Freeze - Vulture
Clay face - Sandman
Penguin - Doc Ock
Scarecrow - Green Goblin
Deathstroke - Kraven
--
Characters I immediately ruled out:
The Joker (+ Harley): We already see that in stories like Arkham Origins where The Joker is put on a team that he does not actually work as a team player w/ any of them, and doesn't keep anyone filled in.
--
Here are my picks:
Bane: I feel like this is an easy choice.
My personal team would consist of:
Bane, Copperhead, Lady Shiva, Punchline, Gentleman Ghost, and Poison Ivy
As a Scarecrow fan, I approve this video! 😁
I don’t think Joker, Bane or Freeze would ever join a team to take down Batman. (Even though they did in Arkham Origins lol)
So I would choose:
Penguin
Two-Face
Killer Croc
Scarecrow
Riddler
Clayface
Incredible team 🔥🔥🔥
My sinister six has layers because I’ve thought about this for a while
1. Joker- obviously he’s team leader and will have Harley on his side.
2. Scarecrow- second hand man, also he makes all they’re toxins and gases they use
3. Mad hatter- like joker he’ll have side kicks like white rabbits and march Harriet stand ins for his own Harley Quinn.
4. Baby doll- the muscle. She’ll have killer croc goon for her
5. firefly/killer moth- I see these two as a pair and couldn’t really separate them.
Great video
Based on the original Sinister 6 members.
Joker (Doc Ock)
Poison Ivy (Electro)
Bane (Kraven the Hunter)
Clayface (Sandman)
Scarecrow (Mysterio)
Mr. Freeze (Vulture)
I immediately thought of the Secret Six but that’s a different thing
(It does usually have multiple Batman villains tho)
I’d love a horror team (mad scientists, psychopathic killers, and monsters) with Scarecrow, Manbat, Killer Croc, Professor Pyg, Solomon Grundy, and Hugo Strange.
My team would be Ra's al Ghul, Bane, Riddler, Penguin, Clayface, and Firefly.
I've been feeling like this could be a route he'd go down for a while. A lot of the stuff he's been doing early on seems very villain centric.
@tyrellmultimedia and with the rumours of villain shows like the penguin one I could see it, something tells me if this was the lineup since clayface has been rumoured along with scarecrow and with reeves wanting to do freeze I could see freeze betraying the team to help bats since all he wants is to save his wife kinda like when sandman helped spidey in the comics but never know how reeves wants to portray them
Condiment King
Kite Man
Clock King
Crazy Quilt
The Ventriloquist
Killer Moth
Honestly, I love the idea of Ra's Al Ghul as the leader of Batman's Sinister 6. To me, it makes the most sense for him to be the leader even if he would kill the other members for not doing things his way. I also love how you included Scarecrow on all 4 teams
The Penguin (Doc Ock)
ClayFace (Sandman)
Bane (Kraven)
Scarecrow (Mysterio)
Mr Freeze (Electro)
Man Bat (Vulture)
1. Bane
2. Riddler
3. Posing ivy
4. Mr freeze
5. Scarecrow
6. Penguin
no
Ive thought about this concept a lot, and your first team is identical to mine. Although I switched out Joker for Poison Ivy, as I felt the Joker wouldnt work with the other villains and they wouldnt want to risk it either. But it was a hard decision to make
1. Mr Freeze
2. Killer croc
3. Mad Hatter
4. Two-face
5. Firefly
6. Penguin
That would be what I want
I would go for a team that’s just straight up trying to assassinate Batman and have the best chance of taking him out for good. For me it’s:
Deathstroke, Bane, Talon, Hush, Deadshot, and…Ras al Ghul, though he would likely not willingly be a part of it
Id say personally, just based on the dynamic and the characters, bane, scarecrow, twoface, clayface, mad hatter and hush, (or firefly for the wild card)
Imagine a fight with these six, bane, a man smarter and stronger than batman as the otto of the group, two face adding an element of chance and remorse, as well as his experience running gangs to organize the crew, scarecrow and mad hatter working together to completey destroy batmans mind and clayface and hush being themselves, it would be awesome.
Deathstroke = Doc Ock
Scarecrow = Mysterio
Killer Moth = Vulture
Firefly = Electro
Bane = Kraven
Clayface = Sandman
Done.
My sinister six would be:
1. The riddler - who would be the mastermind
2. Black mask - who would take over the criminal life in Gotham
3. Deadshot - Whos job would be to lead the Black Masks army on a manhunt
4. Clayface - Who would infiltrate in the city hall
5. Scarecrow - Who would be the logistic guy supplying drugs and fear toxin
6. Poison ivy - Who would use her power to block the city boarders
Batman the animated series is the best version of Batman in my opinion
For me personally…I’m going with Black Mask, Catwoman, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, Bane, and KGBeast!!
No disrespect to Joker, but want to give other Batman villains, a chance tbh
The 1966 Batman movie kind of did this concept.
Considering the motivations and the ideologies of Batman's villains, I think the most challenging part about a Batman Sinister Six is creating a team that WOULD work together. If the writers can pull that off, then they could have a great story.
My lineup would be:
Ra’s (The leader and providing LoA assets)
Bane (As second in command and head of ground tactics)
Scarecrow (Using his gas to weaken Batman’s resolve)
Clayface (To infiltrate and gather info on what Batman is doing)
Mr Freeze (Building gadgets and machines to aid the team)
Killer Croc (The wildcard the team unleashes to cause chaos)
1. Penguin-Doc Ock
2. Scarecrow-Mysterio
3. Fire Fly-Vulture
4. Clayface-Sandman
5. Deathstroke-Kraven
6. Electrocutioner-Electro…Batman has to take one of them down with ease 😆
I would say Bane, Mr.Freeze, Clayface, Killer Croc, Deathstroke and Penguin
The fact that scarecrow is in most of these proves how awesome he is
For my Sinister Six i tried to get a team with attributes similar to teammates from the original team (Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture)
I would pick
Mr Freeze (Doc Ock)
Scarecrow (Mysterio)
Man Bat (Vulture)
Clayface (Sandman)
Deathstroke (Kraven)
With Bane to fill out the last spot
Ras - The leader of the team
Poison Ivy - The one woman army
Clayface - The bruiser
Mr Freeze - The sympathetic focal point and technological genius
Firefly - The most mobile, possibly the wild card, and let's be real has good synergy with Freeze
Scarecrow - The one infusing their attacks with a bit of nightmare fuel
I know Batman outwits his enemies a lot of the time, but it would be cool to watch him take on a threat he hast to punch his way out of
Honestly i can’t imagine the other villains wanting to invite Joker to anything, let alone an organized villain team
I do love the idea that Joker gets pissed off that they wouldnt invite him out of suspicion that he would mess their operation up (which he definitely would) and maybe deciding to sabotage them by helping Batman, directly or from the shadows
The Sinister Six for Batman at least in my opinion would be Joker, Two Face, Bane, Scarecrow, The Penguin and The Riddler.
Cool concept that I've never thought about
Joker
Scarecrow
Bane
Poison Ivy
Penguin
Two-Face
Does Hush deserve a honorable mention he’s basically a evil Batman
My Batman Sinster 6 would be
Deathstroke: The Strategist and Tactician
Deadshot: The Sharpshooter
Penguin: The Man With The Money
Hugo Strange: The Expoiter
Scarecrow: The Manipulator
Bane: The Heavy Hitter
1. Sin Tzu or Bane as Leader
2 and 3. Man-Bat and Doctor Phosphorus as superhuman muscle.
4. Philo Zeiss as the enhanced Assassin.
5. Deadshot as the long-range specialist.
6. Doctor Death as a the scientist with super serum support.
Woah, Sin Tzu and Philo Zeiss. Massive throwbacks here.
I can think of a batman villain who isn't that popular. The guy who stole pennies.
The penny plunderer
Joker,Penguin, Riddler,Two Face,Mr. Freeze, and Poison Ivy with Catwoman as a mole. To me that is as iconic as one can get to me personally.
I love the idea of a Batman sinister six but i would also really like some thematic alliances in his rogues:
I recommend: The Four Freaks an alliance between Killer Croc, Clayface,Manbat and Solomon Grundy. Since they tend to be used as goons make them team up not only against Batman but to wreak havoc to whatever Gang mistreats them as well
The first team is literally one off from mine. Joker, Penguin, Two Face, Riddler, Bane, and Freeze.
My Sinister 6 would be Joker, Flashpoint Joker, Tow-Face Joker and a few others I can't remember the names. But there's Joker in there somewhere 😁
1- Bane
2- Scarecrow
3- Riddler
4- Clayface
5- Deadhsot or Deathstroke
6- Mad Hatter or Poison Ivy
I feel Bane would be the leader who would assemble the team and the others all contribute in their own unique ways. Scarecrow ans Riddler psychological threats, Ivy-Hatter with mind control, Clayface is a powerhouse and Deathstroke-Deadshot would be excellent assasins
