Thanks so much for your humbling comment because yes, indeed everything comes from God. My time spent on the guitar as a youth was nothing but fun, learning songs for the band and playing, and that is where any skills came from. There are so many people that do so many great things - all gifts from God, but I do truly appreciate your comment. Thank you!
Dude, this was; a spiritual experience watching your masterful hands melt together with the strings. Providing exacting accuracy with a mesmerizing flow. Your passion is visible as is the countless hours dedicated to your craft. It is truly an expressive crescendo of emotion wrapped in expertise. Delivering an amazing visual, synaptic explosive journey of excellence on a molecular level. An absolutely Godly expression of what is at the core why one commits to go beyond the norm and begins where most are stopping. Few will provide the commitment to reach the land of effortless expression through musical excellence. You deliver the dream in effortless delivery. It was so amazing that after it was over, I just sat there for a couple of minutes in awe! An absolute EXPRESSIVE RELEASE in complete synchronicity of every emotional pleasure zone. A pleasurable, exhaustive experience! Thank you for this incredible journey. You are respected and truly appreciated!
Not just this song but most of them are far more intricate than I ever imagined and I'm a decent player. Thank you, when it comes to not only deciphering this stuff but relaying the energy and emotion, no one else comes close.
It was truly a gift from God to have been a new guitar player growing up in the 80s. Started playing in 85' when I was 15. All of the guitar music was just coming out. Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ratt, Billy Squire, Bryan Adams, .38 Special, Dokken, Ozzy, VH, etc. If you wanted to be a gunslinger, and I did, the role models were everywhere.
Thank you! I've been jamming out to this song Non-Stop for the last 2 days. Far from the first time I've ever listened to it. But I was really getting into it more than I ever have This video is just enough for me to learn how to play it myself LOL. I forgot how to read music after 18 years of not reading it. I use tableture only when I need to. Otherwise just watching is how I learn. It sounds like a much more complicated song than it is! It's certainly going to be fun to play! And you killed it!
To be able to play that note for note, bend for bend cord for cord is incredible. In one take you are able to reproduce exactly what likely took many takes in a recording session. Incredible. 👍👍👍
I love watching you play. 38 Special is one of the bands that I wish I could take the master tapes and remix to make it a lot less processed and dryer. The songs are so good and just ruined by being hyped up for pop radio. Would really like to hear this band mixed clean, with an ear for more musicality and dynamics...so much processing on these recordings it hurts my soul.
Tom, I've been playing this for years. I hadn't played it in a year or so and went to play it the other day and forgot most of it. What great timing you posted this. One of my favorites. I'd like to purchase it please.
Right on Brother... Killer song... Love the bend that keeps going up, pinch harmonics, etc. Learning a lot. Been exploring your channel and passing it on - any Pat Travers? Cheers 🍻 Alex
Tommy! Anthony Starguitar! I have one question! The ending lead double hammer- on lick is that done strictly on the "E" string, or the B+E string like the ending simular lick on end of here comes my girl Mike Cambell please? BTW off the f'n chain cover on magicman!!! never did do godzilla blue oyster cult though? LOL
IMHO this man has a gift from God, Along with endless hours of practice, dedication and study. Bravo!
