WoW...even Mary Poppins doesn't have that much in her Magic Bag...I am so looking forward to you using that kit on future vids Stuart...I really was amazed and interested to see what you need to survive on winter camps...I shall not be rushing out to buy any of the equipment cos the nearest I get to camping is taking a doughnut out to my grandkids when they camp in our garden and usually decide to come back indoors at about 8pm...what I will be doing is eagerly awaiting your fantastic vids when you are hiking and camping...love your Channel my friend...Cheers Les.😍🙂👍
Yeah quite a bit of kit in the bag, can be quite heavy in winter especially if I'm also having to carry all my water in too. Thanks for all you support Les, very kind of you ☺️
Great video thank you! My next purchases for the coming seasons will be a bivvy bag (I was looking at the Alpkit one before your video popped up) and a satellite communicator, not to mention some good winter boots. Definitely crampons too. Exciting! ATB, Sarah
Fantastic, glad it gave you some ideas, you sometimes see the Alpkit bags on ebay quite cheap 😊 collecting kit for wild camping is addictive 😂 Thanks for watching Sarah, really appreciate it.
@@StuartThowIve just bought the Defy by Motorola, I think your video helped me press purchase so I can go remote and have peace of mind without worrying that I can’t contact my husband when I’m out as that was one of the reasons I abandoned my last Kinder camp, couldn’t even send a message on the northern edge as my Vodafone just wasn’t reaching 😅 so thank you for the nudge! X
That's great, it's a fantastic bit of kit. That's the main reason why I got mine, just to know that I can contact home or they can get in touch with me 👍
Great video Stu. Love nosing at other people’s gear. If you wear the Buffalo Shirt would you still take it off in camp and swap into the down jacket or do you just use the Buffalo Shirt all day and night? Ps that knife is an offensive weapon, you could get about 4 years for that. Only joking. It’s essential to carry a knife as you never know who’s throat you May need to slit in the night. All the best mate 👍
Depends if it got wet or not, if the Buffalo shirt is dry then I'm sometimes too lazy to take it off 😂 hahaha I'm blaming you for the knife, watching all your amazing camp meals I feel I need to up my game 😂. Thanks for watching though and leaving a comment, always appreciated 👍
Good, helpful video ☺️
Glad you think so! No excuse for you to not do a winter camp now 😂
Just dipped my toe into wild camping a few weeks back. It's really interesting seeing all the things you pack. Definitely giving me a couple ideas.
Great to hear! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😁
It's really interesting to watch until the end and I enjoyed it
