Yes, cross your chains when hooking up the trailer, but do not twist them up if they are too long - take out links to shorten. I was hauling a full gasoline tanker trailer and the pintle hitch on the truck broke and the trailer was held up on the crossed chains. I was on the highway at the time going down a set of hills and got it pulled over and stopped without blowing myself up.
Great video, also your battery hook up I just realized and I should have mentioned it earlier but it's not healthy to connect two different amperage batteries together especially if you connect them in parallel, it can cause anything from improper battery discharge to damaging the batteries and even causing fires.
For sure and I heavily appreciate the tip! I don’t have the other batteries hooked up in the separate box, they’re just sitting in there with connections taped off so that I have even weight right and left on the trailer for safe towing, I’m only gonna hook up more batteries when I can get another of the exact same one that’s currently powering everything, but thank you again!
I would absolutely love to and that’s for sure in the plans, I’m just doing this on the side at the moment so maybe down the line we’ll have some more time to dedicate to something like that!

Take this setup on a trail and vlog a hitch stress test?
