You're a great artist but an even better teacher, I haven't had the courage to try water color yet but each time I watch you gets me closer to jumping in!
I agree, you are a great teacher. I have recently retired after 39 years in a skilled trade. I have not painted anything since 1973. I am watching your TH-cam posts to help inspire to start painting again. I really love your presentation and how you make it feel like we are sitting in your studio as you show us how to paint. Thank you.
Emma, I love your videos. I am an illustrator who works very realistically in watercolor, and you have really helped me to "loosen up"! You have such a sweet, positive calm manner in teaching. BTW- you've gotten me hooked on Craftamo brushes because I stopped using fur brushes a long time ago, and it's difficult to get high quality synthetic brushes. I LOVE them! Thank you!
I don't know what I would do without you I get really nices trees when I practice but then after a few months of not painting I lose it. So I know I can always come back to your tips they are amazing and puts me at ease.thank you Emma you are truly the best,!❤ hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving 😊
Wonderful tips - I love trees painted this way, & you make it look easy! Great for Christmas cards, but also for winter or nature/mountain cards or paintings !
Love your videos. Smooth and gentle. Kind instruction. I watched hours of your tutorials. Watercolor isn’t easy. I’m still trying to master a Holly leaf. 😂 Best wishes for a beautiful holiday.
Yes I need this! My ever greens desperately need help I practiced for a while the other day after watching your short but for some reason I just couldn't get my trees to look the way I wanted to. Excited to watch this and try again!
I'm mildly disappointed that you missed a perfect opportunity to reference "happy little trees" here 😉 In all seriousness, I just started painting and have found your tutorials incredibly helpful.
What I paint is exactly between the horrible and good enough, whatever its called, its actually doesn't have that depth, some areas I painted very well, but some I literally messed up too much, whenever I tried to be free with my paints and colour choices, nothing goes very well, everyone is creating super realistic paintings, compared to them , my paintings are always halfway realistic, and most of the part of paintings got mudded by me.. Can you help any advice please.
Very cute cards Emma! And a fun video! So real! Love your videos! Your brushes look like a great set of brushes! I would love to try them. Thanks for making them available to us! Merry Christmas!
Great, video and super helpful, thank you!!! Im currently painting an Aurora and am trying to modify my trees to be the right way now that I know what it is. I just found you through Kristie Rice and now I’m subscribing to you as well!
