1 month pa lang akong freshman ng BS Bio, pero feel ko hindi ko na kaya. Sobrang naging overwhelmed ako sa lahat ng bagay, lumala anxiety ko kahit 'di pa naman super loaded 'yung mga pinapagawa. Wala akong natututunan sa online class. Andami pang group activities ang pinapagawa sa'min at ramdam ko ang pagiging pabigat ko sa mga kagrupo ko. Socially awkward din ako and I spent most of my highschool life talaga, alone at hindi rin talaga ako active noon, ni clubs wala akong sinalihan. Ending wala akong nadevelop na skill at sobrang lala ng social skills ko haha wala pa kong nakakaclose na classmate until now habang sila nagfo-form na ng kanya-kanya nilang circle and all. Ramdam kong pabobo pa 'ko nang pabobo. As in wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko. Nakakabaliw. Gusto kong mag-shift, hindi dahil may ina-eye akong ibang course, kundi para lang makatakas sa BS Bio (na in the first place ay hindi naman pinilit sa akin ako naman ang nagdecide nito, ang sama at ang loser kong tao haha). Magastos din 'yung course lalo pa't online class at nire-require kami ng ibang prof na bumili ng mga equipment for lab activities. Actually, hindi lang shift 'yung nate-tempt kong gawin, I actually wanted to stop for a while. Pero wala, sobrang gipit kami at hindi ko yata makakayanan ang mga sumbat na ibabato sa'kin ng parents ko 'pag tumigil ako. Gusto ko lang din ilabas lahat. Salamat.
you need to know your goals pa rin if you really want to pursue talaga ang BS biology then set aside your fear don't let your fear limit you nga hihi change your mindset rin syempre di madali it takes time! pero know yourself more mga goals , strengths, weaknesses etc. Ify!! I'm socially awkward din irl btw BS interior design "before" ang course ko kasi sabi ko I love arts, colors and pag draw lmao and nung palapit nang palapit na ang klase I asked myself if ito ba gusto ko sabi ko go nalang naka enroll na eh and the class started na nga napressure ako wala akong kakilala then reporting/ group activities na maslalong nagpalala ng anxiety ko haha😫 wala akong poblema sa mga requirements actually, pero yung act. na need pa mag interact ang di ko kinakaya minsan di na ako pumapasok sa meeting sa sobrang kaba ko" which is MALI" nga and feel ko ang tatalino ng kaklase ko and ako lang ang walang alam then naburn out ako but I decided to shift HINDI GANON KADALI pero sinabi ko sa parents ko kasi di pala ako masaya sa course ko kahit na choice ko naman yon in the first place now I'm happy and nagstart ulit ako and inisip ko na I'll do better para lahat ng nangyare is di na maulit & worth it ang paglipat ko I'm happy sa course ko & sa new classmates/ blockmates ko iniisip ko nalang lahat kami di magkakilala and I can start a new me na hindi mahiyain . skl din haha!
Same tayo incoming college student ako right now and kinakabahan ako kung gusto ko ba tlaga to at kung ano magiging ako sa future undecided parin ako hanggang ngayon :( I'm introvert person pero I'll try to communicate sa mga classmates ko nagpakilala ako ganun ngayon friends ko na sila :) lakasan mo lng loob mo be confident sa sarili tao lang din sila lahat tayo may insecurities. Kaya mo yan tiwala lang magkakaroon karin ng mga kaibigan and mag eenjoy ka din sa new course na pinili mo :)))

Same, upcoming College ako next year pero I still really don't know what course to take, I have small group of friends but idk if they're really are, feeling ko napag iiwanan ako sa buong JHS wla talang akong nabuong pagsasama o baka mali lang ako nasamahan ng bilog, wla din akong na develop na skills kasi di naman ako pala sali eh, I've tried some things like playing instruments, learning about computers and etc but still none of it triggers my curiosity or passion, bruh ang saklap naman ng gantong buhay pero yun bawal mag reklamo eh I guess we really need to find it by ourselves, Im just really hoping and praying that God will guide me in my decisions and put me in a circle of people who will help me explore things and know myself more so that I will be able to bring the most out of me....natatakot din ako kasi ayaw kong biguin yung magulang ko although hindi naman ako panganay pero still iba yung saya na mararamdaman nila pag nakapagtapos yung kanilang anak... Me rn, pinanursing ako kasi halos medical graduate family ko (although I'm adopted). I don't feel comfortable being in this field especially when I have anxiety. When I open up about shifting kasi hindi ko nakikita sarili ko isang nurse, they became furious they said "magnunursing ka o hindi ka na mag-aaral?" My mom even said "online class lang yan nahihirapan ka?" Then pagsinabi ko need ko ng patient or gamit she would complain about it na kagastos daw at wala pa naman kami sa actual. When I said na I don't wanna be a nurse to my ate na RN she said "kung hindi ka magnunurse hindi kita kayang paaralin." I'm planning on leaving this place to support myself. Ang toxic lang ng family ko. Gusto kong magshift at suportahan nalang ang sarili ko. I can feel it na one day if i stayed they would not appreciate me they would said things na "wala kang utang na loob". It's sad na I can't achieve my independence. My mom would get mad if I cook. Prito lang alam ko lol
Even if you might not see this, Thank you very much! I had a difficult time these days thinking that a single choice like choosing a career would dictate my future and happiness. Not knowing that its completely false. Skills are the most important thing in becoming sucessful, and not a degree/course.
2022 na. Grade 12 na ko. at ito na yung year na magcocollege na me and I'm still unsure which college course to take. But this video by coach lyqa really helped me to critically think what tips to do before taking college. We can do this guys. We can deal these challenges. Hi to those people like me na kinuha ang kursong hindi natin gusto at iginive up ang dream course sa kadahilanang walang pera I just want to say that kaya natin ito.. fighting!! Hindi man ito ang kursong gusto natin but someday we will appreciate the positive thing of the course.. kung ano man ang kursong kinuha niyo I know the course we took will lead us to success and mapapatanong tayo sa sarili natin dahil tama nga ang naging desisyon at pagpili natin.

7:03 this is something I've been doing unconsciously since i was litttle and i realized na some people don't try talaga in learning. Ang mindset kasi nila naka set agad sa pagiging MAGALING agad. There are gifted people talaga na magaling sa isang field pero setting up that BE MAGALING before even trying ruins a persons potential talaga :(. Natatakot sila na masayang lang oras but yk learning is not about PAGALINGAN its about MARUNONG. Atlis alam mo diba atlis marunong ka kahit d ka magaling. This video helps me a lot as an only child with a limited resources na needed to be practical i am using my learned talents and skills for college course. Thank u Ate ❤️

Kung gusto natin mag karoon ng pamilya, isipin muna natin yung mga pangarap natin na di natupad bago pumasok sa ganoong situation. Kasi mahirap talaga ang buhay, at the right time darating din na ibibigay satin yung right time na yun at the perfect situation. Gusto ko mag Medical course kayaa lang financial is one of our problem in our family, kaya mapapabago talaga yung dream ko sa needed. KAYA NATIN TO! wala tayo magagawa nasa situation tayo na maling pamamaraan, basta be rich na lang den pag dumating yung right time kunin natin yung dream natin when we're young. Gusto ko maging Civil Engineer, currently in 10th grade, may mga times po na nagkakaroon ako ng doubts kung kaya ko ba talaga kasi hindi naman ako ganun ka galing sa math, even though math is my weakness narealize ko, this will keep me going, this will keep me engaging and improving, pero yun nga sana sa mga katulad ko na nagbabalak kumuha ng math related courses pero hindi naman gaano magaling sa math, kaya natin to! Through practice and hardwork magiging posible ito ♥️💘
Hey go for it!! If that's what you love doing then that's where you should be. You can opt for other course or career na mas mukhang financially stable. Pero assess mo, maeenjoy mo ba un as much as how you enjoy music? If not, maybe it's not worth it. If you're going to do something for the next 10, 20, 30 years of your life. You might as well enjoy it. I'm in no place to say kung financially ok ba itake ung music. But I'm sure there are jobs requiring music majors. You can pass on your skills by becoming a coach or professor. Aside from performing, im sure there are lots of oppportunities in this field too. Sabi nga nilaa if gagalingan mo sa ginagawa mo, trabaho mismo ang hahanap sayoo. And i think its easier to be good at something you enjoy doing. Kasi kahit di ka pilitin ikaw mismo kusang magreresearch, "pano ba to gawin?,pano ba ko mag iimprove etc", ikaw rin mismo maglalaan ng time at energy dun sa ginagawa mo. Simply dahil gusto at naeenjoy mo siyang gawin. So go for it! Kaya mo yannn!! Good luck!!
@ash_gray _meadow according sa pag research ko hindi nga stable ang work as animator kahit sa ibang bansa but being an artist maari ka gumawa ng marami source of income related sa art pagkatapos ng isang project or lumipat sa ibang studio. By the way, as animator na regular employee status according sa may ari ng isang studio you can start as low as 15k and you will need to maintain yung quality mo and work your way up pwede ka kumita ng 50k.. and you should maintain that quality para ma retain.
I am aspiring musician too ang gagawin ko na lang ahy I'll take the course na more practical and more na likely makakuha ako ng job na still may interest pa rin ako doon and I'll just gonna learn and practice music at side, madami namang courses video tutorials tungkol sa music just don't stop learning and creating you'll gonna get there eventually and failure=learning, I hope na you get sucessfull someday.

Guys hindi ko talaga alam gagawin ko. All these years, I was sure na kukuha ako ng Secondary Education sa college and mag m-major sa history since naging super interested ako sa pagtuturo lalo na ang gagaling ng mga jhs teachers ko noon pero parang sobrang lumalamang sakin yung subject ng history na gusto ko i-alay buong buhay ko doon sa subject lang na yun na nagd-doubt ako if kung magiging masaya ba ako sa pagkuha ng secondary education tapos i-major ko yung history or mag focus ako na kunin yung BA history and mag-work sa mga museums, maging historian, maging curator or archivist and the thing is, yung mga nabanggit ko may master's degree pa lalo na sa pagiging historian. Gusto ko kasi personally ma-experience maghandle ng mga bagay na nanggaling sa past. Tapos ang worry ko, what if nakagraduate na ko sa BA history eh parang not that much people work sa field na may kinalaman sa history dito sa Pinas. Ang plano ko mag work muna while also doing may master's eh nyeta parang wala ata ako mapapala eh. Pano na future ko sa employment? Ano na self?? Grade 12 ka na this year. Naiiyak na ko HAHAHHAHAHA🥲😂

However, no regrets naman since napakalawak naman ng sakop ng ChemE dahil binansagan nga siyang "Universal Engineering", like mata-touch niya ang field ng energy, environment, food drugs and cosmetics, semiconductors, nanotech at marami pang iba. These are all based on my research hehe, freshman palang ako pero I'm hoping na lalawak pa knowledge ko regarding sa course na 'to.
@Mira Raveniere Hello, I can't dictate what course is best suited for you but based on what I am right now (as a BSChE student), I can say that I'm still exploring this course and so far the topics are interested and since Chemistry combined with Engineering, napaka-broad ng sakop niya and I'm sure na marami talaga siyang job/career oppurtunity. And my advice is that 'wag papalinlang sa salitang Chemical (Yes, konti lang chemistry and mostly Physics and Mathematics maeencpunter mo dito). A lot says na parang magkapatid itong si Chemical Engineering at Mechanical Engineering kasi marami silang similarity. Ikaw lang makakapagsabi kung ano talaga choice mo, if what interests you MORE then go for it. I suggest looking at the curriculum checklist ng course na gusto mo (e.i. Curriculum Checklist of BSChE- sa site ng ChEd mostly nakikita 'to) para makita mo yung mga subjects na tinatake. I hope this helps and goodluck on choosing!

My own notes: Consider money/resources, be practical Skills based market na tayo, currently Think of things na magaling ka and dun ka mag pursue Kapag wala kang maisip na magaling ka, WAKE UP AND START TRYING NEW THINGS. Practice a specific skill/that skill lalo marami nang free sources sa internet so no excuses na. Mag tanong sa ibat-ibang tao na nasa certain field na naiisip mong parang gusto mo and observe to have ideas/feels about what they do.
Ito yung channel na kahit ihing ihi na ako di ko matayuan feeling ko kasi may hindi lang ako marinig from her, nanghihinayang na ako eh. Keep it up coach lyqa. mwah.

Thank u po miss Lyqa for the tips. Rant huhu. Pre-enrollment nanamin sa university na papasukan ko ngayon sana. And up until now, di ko pa rin alam anong course ang kukunin ko. Lately, I’ve been overthinking about what should I take na course. I thought I was really sure na I would take BS Criminology. But when I told my mom about it, she didn’t say NO naman agad pero I know na she is against my decision. She may say “I should reconsider my choice” pero I can feel it... she’s against it. She told me na I should reconsider since matataas naman daw grado ko. Truth told, tama naman sya. Baka nga siguro sayang lang ako. Kasi nga, STEM ang strand ko sa SHS. Pero BS Criminology ang kukunin ko. BS Crim have always been my first choice, and second choice ko lang ang BS Nursing. Nung sinabi ko nanaman kanina na I would take BS Nursing, sinabi nya naman I should take BS Pharma, and when I told her na I don’t know what they are discussing, since wala akong background or alam sa course na yun, medyo risky. Kasi nga, wala naman yun sa mga choices ko in the first place. Pero she said nalang na ako bahala. natatakot na ako. Naiiyak, kasi up until now, di ko pa rin alam anong kursong kukunin ko. Should I follow my mom or should I follow my heart. Ever since natatakot akong mag fail, ayoko makarinig ng criticisms, pgcocompare, png iinsulto, so growing up, I had this mentality na dapat, di ako mag fail, dapat mataas ang grado ko. Pero I know, choosing a college course is really important. Kasi hanggang pagtanda, ito na magiging buhay ko. I badly want to pursue my dream course pero my mom is really against it. Ngayon palang, parang nanghihina na ako. Paano pag mag fail ako, paano pag di ko kaya, paano pag nasa kalahitnaan na ako, dun ako pmghinaan ng loob. Sorry po sa rant. Huhu. Thank u miss lyqa.
Nag take ako ng nursing, hindi ko natapos kasi hindi ko pala siya gusto. Ngayon na kailangan ko ulit mag decide for another course pero till now di ko pa rin alam kung ano ba talaga gusto ko, at ano ba ang bagay sakin.. Sobrang na kakapressure lalo na't pera at oras ang nasasayang ko dahil sa hirap para sa akin na mag decide ng course.. pero susubukan at kakayanin, tatagan lang natin ang loob at magpatuloy sa buhay.. I really want to be a pharmacist but bc of financial problems I won't be able to pursue it so I chose BSED Major In English as my course instead, my mother also wants me to become a teacher because she's a teacher and she thinks that it's easy for them to recommend me in their school.Who knows? Maybe I'll learn how to embrace it.

Share ko lang: I am planning to take BS Mathematics sa isang state university. My dream career/s are Data Analyst, Financial/Business Analyst, Actuary, Any work na usually sa excel or kahit programming pa pagtatyagaan ko aralin basta related sa Math or Numbers. Kaso nanganganib ako baka hindi ako makakuha ng trabaho kaagad baka mamaya bumagsak ako sa education.. which is a no no for me, ayaw ko maging teacher. Usually kasi mas priority nila BS Applied Math or BS Statistics hays eh walang ganun programs sa university na papasukan ko. Yun lang talaga yung available na papasukan ko next school year. After that, kukuha nalang ako siguro ng masters sa statistics or computer science. Lol bahala na.

Gusto ko rin po mag Psychology gustong gusto ko pag aralan lahat ng behavior ng tao. kaso walang ganong course dito sa probinsya namin laging business and Education lang and pinili ko nalang mag bsed major in Values Education ayoko na ulit maulit yung G11 to G12 ko na pinili ko Mag Tvl kasi nandon yung mga friends ko hindi talaga ako naka pag focus non. Ngayon humiwalay na ako ng landas sakanila at susubukang mag adjust sa mga bagong tao in the future sana maka survive ang isang introvert na katulad ko..
I have really one course in mind. I think I'll enjoy it and I'm good at it. But what's stopping me from getting that course is the worry kung makakuha ba ako agad ng trabahooo. we have enough resources naman to pursue what I want and my parents totally supports it but again another worry ko is would I be able to take back the money and effort my parents gave me, can I support my family in the future. and I also think that this other course will be cool to pursue but I have to practical I have to love what i do dbaa to be successful in it. it's all anxiety but I know there will be a way to everything we just have to be diligent in it I hope I'll have the confidence soon to really pursue this course :)) thank you poo for this advice!
jusme, naka relate ako sobra doon sa want ng Journ tapos pinag Educ. super true din po yung lack of resources kaya hindi makuha yung dream career kaya pinagssettle muna sa practical courses. siguro tama din yung ipon ipon muna and then proceed to my desired course
the thing is STEM yung kinuha kong strand because I thought I wanted to become a doctor pero narealize ko din na I dont want most of my life just studying and finally earning by the age of maybe 35 since gusto ko kumita agad for my family, then I thought of taking PoliSci as my major kase mag law nalang ako (I enjoy public speaking and debates) BUT polisci is not a practical course (i think) if you dont want to be a lawyer. All my high school life English ang pinaka mababa kong subject and Science pinaka ang mataas lage, Im currently in grade 11 and so far Biology is my favourite subject. I even thought of taking Economics, Accounting, Dentistry. I'm stuck :/
Isa sa mga natutunan ko from all the videos, books kahit pa nga mga anime o kdrama is "to not limit yourself" kaya starting now diko na nililimitahan ang sarili ko. I do something practical which is choosing business related and work directly after. While writing novels, which is my passion. Mayroon namang technology tsaka andyan sila google, youtube, etc. Para e guide ako to enchance my skills sa passion ko na hindi na kailangan ng course. Tiwala lang talaga sa sarili at sa Diyos💚

Wala pa po akong specific degree na kinuha kasi I am still on my 10th grade sa highschool but I am already fixed na, na mag e ABM ako next year. I also am planning on taking Accountancy (business related din to) because kahit saan kaman parte ng mundo mayroong opportunities for being an accountant. Tsaka, I search for accounting jobs sa mga job hunting sites and they offer a great sum of money talaga.

I suggest take your time. Ideally, oo maganda na by this time pa lang alam mo na kung ano ung gusto mo as a career. Pero kung di pa, wag mo muna ipressure ung sarili mo. Personally wish ko sana pala di muna agad ako nag college. Nag break sana muna ako or work para mas magkaron pa ng time na marealize kung ano ba talaga yung gusto ko gawin. Kasii i ended up in a course na inassume ko lang na magugustuhan ko. Pero nah. 2nd yr na ko kaya nanghihinayang na ko mag shift. So ayon take your timee. Di naman race ang college. School will always be there, whenever you are ready.
But i think you're asking this since you're already entering senior high in 2 yrs? So for that tingin ko, try to assess kung ano ba ung strengths and weaknesses mo. Are you good in math, arts, socializing in general etc. Then assess mo din kung ano ba ung mga bagay na naeenjoy mo. At nakikita mong maeenjoy mo ng long term. Tapos try to take test online. May mga available tests online that can help you assess kung ano ba ung mga possible na babagay sayong strand sa shs, or career. Anywayss good luck!! Hope what i said helped 😅
i answered all of ate's questions and answered "art" on all of them, but i also excel din naman with diff subjects here in highschool. Kaya madaming options sa akin pero i need one course na talagang promising ang job, i dont want to trouble my parents naman, but i cant see myself without art in the future T___T i have too many options and no clear answer
Ako 12 years na graduate ng high school pwd kasi ako at medyo toxic ang life na kinalakihan ko bad romantic relationships, single at depressed ako thus 12 years of being idle at do nothing but house chores nun nag graduate ako ng high school di ko sure kung anong best at necessary course ang kukunin ko pero wala palang may balak na bigyan ako ng chance mag college ng family ko as in no plans for my future endeavors talaga kasi business lang like sari sari store kasi ng uncle ko ang pag tuunan ko ng pansin. magaling ako sa science at english subject math lang talaga ako di magaling now 12 years na gusto ng mother ko na mag aral ako ulit dahil may online class na, ito na siguro ang chance ko na mag aral ulit which also the reason kaya ako nag punta sa video na ito dahil di ko alam kung ano kukunin kong course. I am graduated as a humss student and currently first yr bsn student and still confused.I love doing arts and something that about creativity .Kaya din ang first choice ko is interior designing but walang available na course dito samin.I took bsn kasi dream ko siya around when I was gr 9 to gr 10 and it changed when shs because I had anxiety. And also my problem is Im sck in math, anything that relates in number. I still choose this course bcos I cant see my self in any profession aside from ID.But Im doubting myself, if I cant do it.Bunso ako, ako na lang din pinapa aral at hindi kami mayaman kinakapos pa rin.Gusto ko mag pakapractical kung lilipat ba ako ng course and school. And also iniisip ko alam ko deep inside nandito pa rin yung anxiety na tinatakasan ko. Hindi ko na alam, ang goal ko na lang makatapos ng pag-aaral at mag trabaho agad.Ngayon iniisip ko sana nag stop muna pala ako para inisip ko kung ano ba talaga pero naghihinayang din ako sa taon. Ngayon hindi ko di ako masaya or nag aadjust pa ko.Pero kasi yung burden andami ko iniisip like ang hirap dala-dala mo siya. Hindi lang academic prinoproblema mo tapos idadagdag pa tong education system ngayon.Wala gusto ko lang mag labas and kung may makakabasa man nito edi oks, oo tama magulo akog magkwento.Pero kulang pa yan madami kasi akong self issues like takot din ako lumabas ng comfortzone ganorn tinatamad na ko magkwento tapos napaka ungrammatical pa di talaga ako graduate ng humss.bahala ka diyan.pero babalikan ko tong comment ko.
Nag ABM ako because my school only offered 2 strands. I was supposed to go to med school pero di nila ako pinayagan lumipat ng school kung saan May STEM sana because of the pandemic mahirap daw lumipat ng school. So wala akong choice kungdi mag ABM. Final desisyon ko na sana yung med pero lalo lang tuloy ako naguluhan sa course ko nung nag ABM ako. Sa experience ko naman as an ABM student sobrang hirap talaga wala kang maiintindihan sa binabasa mong module. Sadly, I didn't enjoy this strand. Sobrang pagsisisi. At that moment I felt na hindi para sakin ang accounting kasi I cant imagine myself doing accounting stuff forever, mahina rn ako sa math and analyzation, at antukin talaga ako kapag matagal nakaupo lng and nagbabasa/ nag aanalyze ng kung ano. Although maganda kapag accountant ka kasi they'll think highly of you kesa kapag nurse ka.. Com'on let's face the fact.. Mababa ang tingin sa mga nurses dahil sa mababang sweldo at kung ano ano pa. Pero I want nursing kase I want to gain the knowledge rn about medicines and health stuff.. Nakakadepress kapag dika makapili pero kailangan mo nang pumili... Napapaisip ako na wala yata talagang para saken, fck my social anxiety & lack of confidence rn. Hayst.
I'm an opposite of your wanted job/course. I'm an incoming gr11 abm and since gr6 I didn't want medical jobs anymore because of how hard that can be. I just don't see myself in it. For gr7-10 (just finished 10 last SY) I was lost, I keep on switching dreams to having none. Last week I said I wanted to be a flight attendant but upon research, it doesn't sit well with me. Now I research being an accountant and it.. Clicks. What I can say is, even a small, tiny, spark of motivation - of want - that spark? Grab it. It's your sign, it's your choice. Do not let everyone around you push you to live the life they want. I hope you will live the life you want. I have a friend who's very motivated to be in the medical field and she's years older than me, despite the stress, I can definitely see she's happy even if she gets tried. It's because she's doing what she dreams. I hope you pursue yours.
I have a passion in art i used to draw with a smile on my face, back when i was in grade school. But when i move up on to high school, thats were i realize that the world is massive, i have seen people around my age that beyond my skills. I can't help but get jealous, i only have the skill not the talent.
I was about to be a freshman this year kso i wasn't able to enroll since some problems came up with my papers. By this time, I am into the path of taking BS Accountancy for next school year kaso I'm still not sure because of it's not really the thing I want I'm not good at math too my average ranges to 89 when it comes to math related subjects but I do love reasoning and analyzing and other logical problem solvings... I really want to do fine arts or culinary yet we can't afford it lol. soo maybe i should take accountancy first then as you have said, pag nakapag ipon ako after graduation, I'll try to get my second course..
89 is already a high mark. May board exam sa BS Accountancy so sobrang hirap. Konti lang nakakapasa. Sa Accountancy more on analyzation so I think you'll do fine if gusto mo talaga maging Certified Public Accountant. Pero baka after ng Accountancy, hindi mo na mapursue yung iba mong dreams so you also have to consider that.
Nung hs ako pinakamataas ko laging grade ay sa Science, pero nag Humss ako nitong shs kase pinaglo-law ako. Ngayon, pinag-iisipan ko kung magpo-pol sci ba ako TuT gusto ko kasi after college diretso trabaho na. Hindi ko alam kung magugustuhan ko ba itong pol sci e sobrang ayaw ko pa naman ng research at essays. Dati mahilig ako magsulat e ngayon feeling ko pag tuwing may papers kami puro mema yung nagagawa ko. Tapos medyo okay naman kasi talaga mga grades ko kaya nag eexpect fam ko na mag-UP ako... Hindi ako confident at hindi rin ako ready, hindi ako independent, ni hindi ko kaya bumyahe mag-isa. Wala akong passion, hindi ko alam ano ba gusto kong gawin sa buhay, gusto ko lang siguro maka-ipon agad ng pera tapos travel travel na lang. Help 😭
Wag mong gawin yung hindi mo gusto kasi throughout ng college years mo, you'll end up unhappy because you know it's not the decision you made for yourself. Explore ka muna kung confused ka. Mahirap magregret

Sa totoo lang po, lagi ko pong iniisip kung tama ang pinili kong course, graduate po ako ng ABM dahil choice ng magulang ko at top three student pa, nagenroll ng BSBA, binigyan ng chance na magqualifying exam sa BS AIS at nakapasa, kaya binigyan din ng chance na magqualifying exam sa Acountancy pero gusto ko pong magIT or CS since ito ung pinangarap ko noong elem at highschool kaya humarap ako sa malaking desisyon. Mag eexam na sana para sa accountancy, pinull out ko mga requirements na pinasa ko sa departamento na yun at lumipat sa IT. Ngayon di ko po alam kung tama desisyon ko. Kase parang nakakapanghinayang yung mga natutunan ko kung di ko po ipagpapatuloy. Plus mabababa pa ang tingin ng ibang tao sa IT course kaya parang nagadalawang isip po ako kung itutuloy ko pa. Nanghihinyang din mga dati kong prof sa SHS, tama po kaya mga naging desisyon ko? Mag-aaral nalang kaya ako ulit? Makakayanan kaya ng mga magulang ko ang expenses? Hayss tagal ko na po talagang nag-iisip simula noong kinuha ko tong course, hanggang ngayon, gutom pa rin sa mga advices. Pero napagisipan ko kase na kailangan mo den maging practical sa buhay para matulungan ko magulang ko. So yun nga nag research and nanonod ako na STEM-related course and advice . Hindi pa po huli ang lahat kapag nakapagtapos po tayo sa kursong Education pwede pa po nating makuha yung course na gusto natin kung may budget para makapag-aral po ulit. At kung pipili man po tayo ng course ang piliin po natin ay yung gusto at mahal natin. For me po kasi ang hirap kapag nag-stick tayo sa gusto ng iba na kunin po natin yung kursong gusto nila para sa atin tapos kapag nagfail po tayo madidisappoint sila. Kapag yung pinakagustong course po natin ang ating pinili syempre nandun na po yung excitement at ang pagiging mahusay dahil mahal natin ang kursong napili. Minsan may mga sitwasyon na pinili natin yung course na gusto natin pero kapag dumating yung time na marerealized natin na hindi pala talaga sya para sa atin. *Pumili ng course kung saan tayo masaya at mahal natin ang ating ginagawa. Since Grade 8 pa ako Gustong gusto ko talaga maging Chemical Engineer pero pagtungtung ko ng SHS di ako maka take ng STEM kase mababa grades ko sa Math noong Grade 10 for some reasons. Honestly di po ako magaling sa Math pero Magaling ako sa Science and English. Kaya ayun nag HUMSS nlng ako. Now Graduate na ako ng SHS. Di ko mapursue ang engineering kase may financial problem kami tapos di ako STEM graduate baka mahirapan lng ako... kaya ayun plano ko mag take ng practical na course like BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.. MAJOR IN SCIENCE Kase favorite ko ang science kaya mag take advantage nlng ako ngayun.. Masasabe mo talaga na di lahat ng gusto natin sa buhay ay makukuha mo kaya maging practical nlng tayu Para atleast mayron tayong matapos.

My advice for you is if you love chemistry, take chemistry. I have the same reason before I take chemical engineering and I was completely wrong. It is really different from pure chemistry but if you still want to pursue it, then go on :)

college na po ako and it seems like i dont like my course huhu
1 month pa lang akong freshman ng BS Bio, pero feel ko hindi ko na kaya. Sobrang naging overwhelmed ako sa lahat ng bagay, lumala anxiety ko kahit 'di pa naman super loaded 'yung mga pinapagawa. Wala akong natututunan sa online class. Andami pang group activities ang pinapagawa sa'min at ramdam ko ang pagiging pabigat ko sa mga kagrupo ko. Socially awkward din ako and I spent most of my highschool life talaga, alone at hindi rin talaga ako active noon, ni clubs wala akong sinalihan. Ending wala akong nadevelop na skill at sobrang lala ng social skills ko haha wala pa kong nakakaclose na classmate until now habang sila nagfo-form na ng kanya-kanya nilang circle and all. Ramdam kong pabobo pa 'ko nang pabobo.
As in wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko. Nakakabaliw. Gusto kong mag-shift, hindi dahil may ina-eye akong ibang course, kundi para lang makatakas sa BS Bio (na in the first place ay hindi naman pinilit sa akin ako naman ang nagdecide nito, ang sama at ang loser kong tao haha). Magastos din 'yung course lalo pa't online class at nire-require kami ng ibang prof na bumili ng mga equipment for lab activities.
Actually, hindi lang shift 'yung nate-tempt kong gawin, I actually wanted to stop for a while. Pero wala, sobrang gipit kami at hindi ko yata makakayanan ang mga sumbat na ibabato sa'kin ng parents ko 'pag tumigil ako.

Me rn, pinanursing ako kasi halos medical graduate family ko (although I'm adopted). I don't feel comfortable being in this field especially when I have anxiety. When I open up about shifting kasi hindi ko nakikita sarili ko isang nurse, they became furious they said "magnunursing ka o hindi ka na mag-aaral?" My mom even said "online class lang yan nahihirapan ka?" Then pagsinabi ko need ko ng patient or gamit she would complain about it na kagastos daw at wala pa naman kami sa actual. When I said na I don't wanna be a nurse to my ate na RN she said "kung hindi ka magnunurse hindi kita kayang paaralin."
I'm planning on leaving this place to support myself. Ang toxic lang ng family ko. Gusto kong magshift at suportahan nalang ang sarili ko. I can feel it na one day if i stayed they would not appreciate me they would said things na "wala kang utang na loob". It's sad na I can't achieve my independence. My mom would get mad if I cook. 2022 na. Grade 12 na ko. at ito na yung year na magcocollege na me and I'm still unsure which college course to take. But this video by coach lyqa really helped me to critically think what tips to do before taking college. We can do this guys. We can deal these challenges. 7:03 this is something I've been doing unconsciously since i was litttle and i realized na some people don't try talaga in learning. Ang mindset kasi nila naka set agad sa pagiging MAGALING agad. There are gifted people talaga na magaling sa isang field pero setting up that BE MAGALING before even trying ruins a persons potential talaga :(. Natatakot sila na masayang lang oras but yk learning is not about PAGALINGAN its about MARUNONG. Atlis alam mo diba atlis marunong ka kahit d ka magaling.

You can opt for other course or career na mas mukhang financially stable. Pero assess mo, maeenjoy mo ba un as much as how you enjoy music? If not, maybe it's not worth it.
If you're going to do something for the next 10, 20, 30 years of your life. You might as well enjoy it.
I'm in no place to say kung financially ok ba itake ung music. But I'm sure there are jobs requiring music majors.
You can pass on your skills by becoming a coach or professor. Aside from performing, im sure there are lots of oppportunities in this field too.
Sabi nga nilaa if gagalingan mo sa ginagawa mo, trabaho mismo ang hahanap sayoo.
And i think its easier to be good at something you enjoy doing. Kasi kahit di ka pilitin ikaw mismo kusang magreresearch, "pano ba to gawin?,pano ba ko mag iimprove etc", ikaw rin mismo maglalaan ng time at energy dun sa ginagawa mo. Simply dahil gusto at naeenjoy mo siyang gawin.

@ash_gray _meadow according sa pag research ko hindi nga stable ang work as animator kahit sa ibang bansa but being an artist maari ka gumawa ng marami source of income related sa art pagkatapos ng isang project or lumipat sa ibang studio. By the way, as animator na regular employee status according sa may ari ng isang studio you can start as low as 15k and you will need to maintain yung quality mo and work your way up pwede ka kumita ng 50k.. and you should maintain that quality para ma retain.
I am aspiring musician too ang gagawin ko na lang ahy I'll take the course na more practical and more na likely makakuha ako ng job na still may interest pa rin ako doon and I'll just gonna learn and practice music at side, madami namang courses video tutorials tungkol sa music just don't stop learning and creating you'll gonna get there eventually and failure=learning, I hope na you get sucessfull someday.

Guys hindi ko talaga alam gagawin ko. All these years, I was sure na kukuha ako ng Secondary Education sa college and mag m-major sa history since naging super interested ako sa pagtuturo lalo na ang gagaling ng mga jhs teachers ko noon pero parang sobrang lumalamang sakin yung subject ng history na gusto ko i-alay buong buhay ko doon sa subject lang na yun na nagd-doubt ako if kung magiging masaya ba ako sa pagkuha ng secondary education tapos i-major ko yung history or mag focus ako na kunin yung BA history and mag-work sa mga museums, maging historian, maging curator or archivist and the thing is, yung mga nabanggit ko may master's degree pa lalo na sa pagiging historian. Gusto ko kasi personally ma-experience maghandle ng mga bagay na nanggaling sa past. Tapos ang worry ko, what if nakagraduate na ko sa BA history eh parang not that much people work sa field na may kinalaman sa history dito sa Pinas. Ang plano ko mag work muna while also doing may master's eh nyeta parang wala ata ako mapapala eh. Pano na future ko sa employment? Ano na self?? Grade 12 ka na this year. Naiiyak na ko HAHAHHAHAHA🥲😂

However, no regrets naman since napakalawak naman ng sakop ng ChemE dahil binansagan nga siyang "Universal Engineering", like mata-touch niya ang field ng energy, environment, food drugs and cosmetics, semiconductors, nanotech at marami pang iba. These are all based on my research hehe, freshman palang ako pero I'm hoping na lalawak pa knowledge ko regarding sa course na 'to.
@Mira Raveniere Hello, I can't dictate what course is best suited for you but based on what I am right now (as a BSChE student), I can say that I'm still exploring this course and so far the topics are interested and since Chemistry combined with Engineering, napaka-broad ng sakop niya and I'm sure na marami talaga siyang job/career oppurtunity. And my advice is that 'wag papalinlang sa salitang Chemical (Yes, konti lang chemistry and mostly Physics and Mathematics maeencpunter mo dito). A lot says na parang magkapatid itong si Chemical Engineering at Mechanical Engineering kasi marami silang similarity.
Ikaw lang makakapagsabi kung ano talaga choice mo, if what interests you MORE then go for it. I suggest looking at the curriculum checklist ng course na gusto mo (e.i. Curriculum Checklist of BSChE- sa site ng ChEd mostly nakikita 'to) para makita mo yung mga subjects na tinatake. I hope this helps and goodluck on choosing!

Pre-enrollment nanamin sa university na papasukan ko ngayon sana. And up until now, di ko pa rin alam anong course ang kukunin ko. Lately, I’ve been overthinking about what should I take na course. I thought I was really sure na I would take BS Criminology. But when I told my mom about it, she didn’t say NO naman agad pero I know na she is against my decision. She may say “I should reconsider my choice” pero I can feel it... she’s against it. She told me na I should reconsider since matataas naman daw grado ko. Truth told, tama naman sya. Baka nga siguro sayang lang ako. Kasi nga, STEM ang strand ko sa SHS. Pero BS Criminology ang kukunin ko. BS Crim have always been my first choice, and second choice ko lang ang BS Nursing. Nung sinabi ko nanaman kanina na I would take BS Nursing, sinabi nya naman I should take BS Pharma, and when I told her na I don’t know what they are discussing, since wala akong background or alam sa course na yun, medyo risky. Kasi nga, wala naman yun sa mga choices ko in the first place. Pero she said nalang na ako bahala.

Ever since natatakot akong mag fail, ayoko makarinig ng criticisms, pgcocompare, png iinsulto, so growing up, I had this mentality na dapat, di ako mag fail, dapat mataas ang grado ko. Pero I know, choosing a college course is really important. Kasi hanggang pagtanda, ito na magiging buhay ko. I badly want to pursue my dream course pero my mom is really against it. Ngayon palang, parang nanghihina na ako. Paano pag mag fail ako, paano pag di ko kaya, paano pag nasa kalahitnaan na ako, dun ako pmghinaan ng loob.

Share ko lang: I am planning to take BS Mathematics sa isang state university. My dream career/s are Data Analyst, Financial/Business Analyst, Actuary, Any work na usually sa excel or kahit programming pa pagtatyagaan ko aralin basta related sa Math or Numbers. Kaso nanganganib ako baka hindi ako makakuha ng trabaho kaagad baka mamaya bumagsak ako sa education.. which is a no no for me, ayaw ko maging teacher. Usually kasi mas priority nila BS Applied Math or BS Statistics hays eh walang ganun programs sa university na papasukan ko. Yun lang talaga yung available na papasukan ko next school year. After that, kukuha nalang ako siguro ng masters sa statistics or computer science. Lol bahala na.

I have really one course in mind. I think I'll enjoy it and I'm good at it. But what's stopping me from getting that course is the worry kung makakuha ba ako agad ng trabahooo. we have enough resources naman to pursue what I want and my parents totally supports it but again another worry ko is would I be able to take back the money and effort my parents gave me, can I support my family in the future. and I also think that this other course will be cool to pursue but I have to practical I have to love what i do dbaa to be successful in it. it's all anxiety but I know there will be a way to everything we just have to be diligent in it

All my high school life English ang pinaka mababa kong subject and Science pinaka ang mataas lage, Im currently in grade 11 and so far Biology is my favourite subject. I even thought of taking Economics, Accounting, Dentistry. I'm stuck :/

I also am planning on taking Accountancy (business related din to) because kahit saan kaman parte ng mundo mayroong opportunities for being an accountant. Tsaka, I search for accounting jobs sa mga job hunting sites and they offer a great sum of money talaga.

Personally wish ko sana pala di muna agad ako nag college. Nag break sana muna ako or work para mas magkaron pa ng time na marealize kung ano ba talaga yung gusto ko gawin. Kasii i ended up in a course na inassume ko lang na magugustuhan ko. Pero nah. 2nd yr na ko kaya nanghihinayang na ko mag shift.
So ayon take your timee. Di naman race ang college. School will always be there, whenever you are ready.
But i think you're asking this since you're already entering senior high in 2 yrs?
So for that tingin ko, try to assess kung ano ba ung strengths and weaknesses mo. Are you good in math, arts, socializing in general etc.
Then assess mo din kung ano ba ung mga bagay na naeenjoy mo. At nakikita mong maeenjoy mo ng long term.
Tapos try to take test online. May mga available tests online that can help you assess kung ano ba ung mga possible na babagay sayong strand sa shs, or career. Anywayss good luck!! Hope what i said helped 😅
i answered all of ate's questions and answered "art" on all of them, but i also excel din naman with diff subjects here in highschool. Kaya madaming options sa akin pero i need one course na talagang promising ang job, i dont want to trouble my parents naman, but i cant see myself without art in the future T___T i have too many options and no clear answer
Ako 12 years na graduate ng high school pwd kasi ako at medyo toxic ang life na kinalakihan ko bad romantic relationships, single at depressed ako thus 12 years of being idle at do nothing but house chores nun nag graduate ako ng high school di ko sure kung anong best at necessary course ang kukunin ko pero wala palang may balak na bigyan ako ng chance mag college ng family ko as in no plans for my future endeavors talaga kasi business lang like sari sari store kasi ng uncle ko ang pag tuunan ko ng pansin. magaling ako sa science at english subject math lang talaga ako di magaling now 12 years na gusto ng mother ko na mag aral ako ulit dahil may online class na, ito na siguro ang chance ko na mag aral ulit which also the reason kaya ako nag punta sa video na ito dahil di ko alam kung ano kukunin kong course. I am graduated as a humss student and currently first yr bsn student and still confused.I love doing arts and something that about creativity .Kaya din ang first choice ko is interior designing but walang available na course dito samin.I took bsn kasi dream ko siya around when I was gr 9 to gr 10 and it changed when shs because I had anxiety. And also my problem is Im sck in math, anything that relates in number.
I still choose this course bcos I cant see my self in any profession aside from ID.But Im doubting myself, if I cant do it.Bunso ako, ako na lang din pinapa aral at hindi kami mayaman kinakapos pa rin.Gusto ko mag pakapractical kung lilipat ba ako ng course and school. And also iniisip ko alam ko deep inside nandito pa rin yung anxiety na tinatakasan ko. Hindi ko na alam, ang goal ko na lang makatapos ng pag-aaral at mag trabaho agad.Ngayon iniisip ko sana nag stop muna pala ako para inisip ko kung ano ba talaga pero naghihinayang din ako sa taon.

Nag ABM ako because my school only offered 2 strands. I was supposed to go to med school pero di nila ako pinayagan lumipat ng school kung saan May STEM sana because of the pandemic mahirap daw lumipat ng school. So wala akong choice kungdi mag ABM. Final desisyon ko na sana yung med pero lalo lang tuloy ako naguluhan sa course ko nung nag ABM ako. Sa experience ko naman as an ABM student sobrang hirap talaga wala kang maiintindihan sa binabasa mong module. Sadly, I didn't enjoy this strand. Sobrang pagsisisi. At that moment I felt na hindi para sakin ang accounting kasi I cant imagine myself doing accounting stuff forever, mahina rn ako sa math and analyzation, at antukin talaga ako kapag matagal nakaupo lng and nagbabasa/ nag aanalyze ng kung ano. Although maganda kapag accountant ka kasi they'll think highly of you kesa kapag nurse ka.. Com'on let's face the fact.. Mababa ang tingin sa mga nurses dahil sa mababang sweldo at kung ano ano pa. Pero I want nursing kase I want to gain the knowledge rn about medicines and health stuff.. Nakakadepress kapag dika makapili pero kailangan mo nang pumili... Napapaisip ako na wala yata talagang para saken, fck my social anxiety & lack of confidence rn. Hayst.
I'm an opposite of your wanted job/course. I'm an incoming gr11 abm and since gr6 I didn't want medical jobs anymore because of how hard that can be. I just don't see myself in it. For gr7-10 (just finished 10 last SY) I was lost, I keep on switching dreams to having none. Last week I said I wanted to be a flight attendant but upon research, it doesn't sit well with me. Now I research being an accountant and it.. Clicks.
What I can say is, even a small, tiny, spark of motivation - of want - that spark? Grab it. It's your sign, it's your choice. Do not let everyone around you push you to live the life they want. I hope you will live the life you want. I have a friend who's very motivated to be in the medical field and she's years older than me, despite the stress, I can definitely see she's happy even if she gets tried. It's because she's doing what she dreams.

I have a passion in art i used to draw with a smile on my face, back when i was in grade school. But when i move up on to high school, thats were i realize that the world is massive, i have seen people around my age that beyond my skills. I was about to be a freshman this year kso i wasn't able to enroll since some problems came up with my papers. By this time, I am into the path of taking BS Accountancy for next school year kaso I'm still not sure because of it's not really the thing I want I'm not good at math too my average ranges to 89 when it comes to math related subjects but I do love reasoning and analyzing and other logical problem solvings... I really want to do fine arts or culinary yet we can't afford it lol. soo maybe i should take accountancy first then as you have said, pag nakapag ipon ako after graduation, I'll try to get my second course..
89 is already a high mark. May board exam sa BS Accountancy so sobrang hirap. Konti lang nakakapasa. Sa Accountancy more on analyzation so I think you'll do fine if gusto mo talaga maging Certified Public Accountant. Pero baka after ng Accountancy, hindi mo na mapursue yung iba mong dreams so you also have to consider that.

Nung hs ako pinakamataas ko laging grade ay sa Science, pero nag Humss ako nitong shs kase pinaglo-law ako. Ngayon, pinag-iisipan ko kung magpo-pol sci ba ako TuT gusto ko kasi after college diretso trabaho na. Hindi ko alam kung magugustuhan ko ba itong pol sci e sobrang ayaw ko pa naman ng research at essays. Dati mahilig ako magsulat e ngayon feeling ko pag tuwing may papers kami puro mema yung nagagawa ko. Tapos medyo okay naman kasi talaga mga grades ko kaya nag eexpect fam ko na mag-UP ako... Hindi ako confident at hindi rin ako ready, hindi ako independent, ni hindi ko kaya bumyahe mag-isa. Wala akong passion, hindi ko alam ano ba gusto kong gawin sa buhay, gusto ko lang siguro maka-ipon agad ng pera tapos travel travel na lang. Help 😭
Wag mong gawin yung hindi mo gusto kasi throughout ng college years mo, you'll end up unhappy because you know it's not the decision you made for yourself. Explore ka muna kung confused ka. Mahirap magregret

I’m good at neurological studies, I enjoy learning mathematics, next november sasali kami para sa robotics (involves coding) international, I also love music (I play drums, guitar, base guitar, ukulele, electric guitar, beatbox and I can sing), I also read books majority are Philosophy and physics. Sa totoo lang po, lagi ko pong iniisip kung tama ang pinili kong course, graduate po ako ng ABM dahil choice ng magulang ko at top three student pa, nagenroll ng BSBA, binigyan ng chance na magqualifying exam sa BS AIS at nakapasa, kaya binigyan din ng chance na magqualifying exam sa Acountancy pero gusto ko pong magIT or CS since ito ung pinangarap ko noong elem at highschool kaya humarap ako sa malaking desisyon. Mag eexam na sana para sa accountancy, pinull out ko mga requirements na pinasa ko sa departamento na yun at lumipat sa IT. Ngayon di ko po alam kung tama desisyon ko. Kase parang nakakapanghinayang yung mga natutunan ko kung di ko po ipagpapatuloy. Plus mabababa pa ang tingin ng ibang tao sa IT course kaya parang nagadalawang isip po ako kung itutuloy ko pa. Nanghihinyang din mga dati kong prof sa SHS, tama po kaya mga naging desisyon ko? Mag-aaral nalang kaya ako ulit? Makakayanan kaya ng mga magulang ko ang expenses? Hayss tagal ko na po talagang nag-iisip simula noong kinuha ko tong course, hanggang ngayon, gutom pa rin sa mga advices. Parehas ata gusto ko, both sa IT at business industry😔 o may regret lang sa decision ko😓. ????

When I was young, I want to be a flight attendant and it became a business woman and last time I want to be a lawyer but now I just want to be an accountant. Naagaw pansin ko yung Nurse and Medtech which is pre-med . Hindi pa po huli ang lahat kapag nakapagtapos po tayo sa kursong Education pwede pa po nating makuha yung course na gusto natin kung may budget para makapag-aral po ulit. At kung pipili man po tayo ng course ang piliin po natin ay yung gusto at mahal natin. For me po kasi ang hirap kapag nag-stick tayo sa gusto ng iba na kunin po natin yung kursong gusto nila para sa atin tapos kapag nagfail po tayo madidisappoint sila. Kapag yung pinakagustong course po natin ang ating pinili syempre nandun na po yung excitement at ang pagiging mahusay dahil mahal natin ang kursong napili. Minsan may mga sitwasyon na pinili natin yung course na gusto natin pero kapag dumating yung time na marerealized natin na hindi pala talaga sya para sa atin.
*Pumili ng course kung saan tayo masaya at mahal natin ang ating ginagawa.

Gustong gusto ko talaga maging Chemical Engineer pero pagtungtung ko ng SHS di ako maka take ng STEM kase mababa grades ko sa Math noong Grade 10 for some reasons. Honestly di po ako magaling sa Math pero Magaling ako sa Science and English. Kaya ayun nag HUMSS nlng ako. Now Graduate na ako ng SHS. Di ko mapursue ang engineering kase may financial problem kami tapos di ako STEM graduate baka mahirapan lng ako... kaya ayun plano ko mag take ng practical na course like BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.. MAJOR IN SCIENCE

My advice for you is if you love chemistry, take chemistry. I have the same reason before I take chemical engineering and I was completely wrong. It is really different from pure chemistry but if you still want to pursue it, then go on :)

Scam ang "i love chemistry" sa kukuha ng ChemE. I should've looked at the curriculum checklist first before entering this programm huhu. Para sa mga nagbabalak mag ChemE na ang rason ay magaling sa Chemistry, gaiss lumayo kayo ritoo HAHAH CHAR! 10%Chemistry, 30% Math, 60%Physics in a nutshell.
