    For some reason the thumbs up button isn't working for me.... Nice to see you still had colour to come back to.. Enjoy time with your Mum. Here in Dunedin, New Zealand, we also say 'wee' for small 😊

      I had guests this week so was very happy to have a full vase of flowers out to welcome them.

    Actually looking better than what I expected. I was afraid they might be all dried up with the summer weather after your trip.

      The summer heat has kicked in this week but luckily (for me) rainy season dragged on a couple of weeks longer than usual so the garden was actually pretty well watered.

    You probably know this, but Sweet William is a biennial. They won't bloom the first year (if you started them from seed) but will bloom starting the 2nd year.

      Yeah I thought that but the seed packet definitely said if I planted them in autumn they would flower the following spring so I was hopeful. I hope they don’t mind being dug up and moved to the new plot.
