As I'm still in the beginning of my professional career, I would say it doesn't change that much for now. I try to juggle both commercial and personal stuff. Like I do one illustration that could be a character illustration for a book, game, etc. And on the side I do one that is probably a bit more expressive, I don't know how to put it simply but, you know, put a bit of my soul into it. Not that I don't put myself into commercial work (and I still like doing it, it's fun but not something I NEED to do in a very personal way), but it's just not the same, if you can see what I mean
@@Lucas-tg6jz Totally. I'm trying to work pn a faster style, that would still look good, yet would still make money when working with children's book publishers that usually don't have huge budgets.
How would you create differently if money was not an issue? Let me know!
