burdockman1 it definitely makes it unique but as a musician, it fucking irritates me! Drummer got tired:/ Sure as hell didnt stop me from buying this on Discogs!
@Hi-tone 😉😅😅✔ Funny thing, but I was just telling my buddy the same thing that you noticed, and then I saw your comment. Brilliant observation, and still a great track😉👍🔥‼🤣💙
Good day Steve. Thanks for your kind comment. It was great fun, and damn exciting. As burdockman1 noted above, yes, the song slows down a bit. What only the engineer knows and the band members (also John and my Dad who was the uber driver of the 60s, now deceased along with 2 band members): this song required many takes, perhaps 15 (?), the one you hear was the last take (the engineer was really young and, as i was to learn from years in recording studios, inexperienced, as were we), and all of us were getting quite exhausted. It's now part of my opera: Sphere {The Most Passionate Love Triangle Never Imagined), not yet performed, as a bar band song by the lead singer: Leeagh, who really hates the song but the crowd loves it. Long story there.
Maestro Heart I've listened to this song on back from the grave volume 5 countless times , this song will have people grooving for the rest of time , feel accomplished this shit rules
The Vestells have a nice write up on Garage Hangover, including comments from bass player John Schick. Thanks for such a great song guys!👍👍

Thanks Steve--strange times those 60s. Best to ya! Robert (Bob) Schick, the composer and singer/guitarist.
it seems to be the only release on Mo Jo. A case of 'do it yourself' probably
