I love watching your videos! so many refreshing views on children and their development. Here in the USA Kindergarten is set to almost a 1st grade maybe even 2nd grade level that is completely unrealistic for a 5yr old!
Hi Christine! Do you recommend Sonlight before TG&TB Preschool? I purchased TG&TB preschool for my 3 year old daughter. It seems better suited for a 4 year old but maybe not. We are currently doing All About Reading Pre-reading and I don’t love it. I am also doing Before Five in a Row with her. She is eager to learn. Any suggestion on order of curriculum would be helpful! Thank you!
I would say Sonlight is more appropriate for age 3. :) I wouldn't try doing any reading instruction at that age unless your child is gifted or specifically asking for it.
I have a two year old. Im looking at gentle and classical and also intrigued by sonlights literature curriculum. But i think it would be too much for a two year old. I also like the look of Good and beautiful but their program looks more for 3.5-4 ish... Thoughts ? After listening yo youe video im thinking of trying GC for her two year old year and then trying GB ans sonlight in the 3-4 years.

I have never done school with my children at that age, but if I were to pick between the tree, I would choose GC.
