Best Stealth Method I found was become enemies of Hungary bandits and find one of their insanely large parties and just follow it in stealth mod, it's sky rockets. You can hit like level 80 in a few minutes literally.
you can also train some Assassination after you've got enough Stealth levels. i'd say level 80 or 85 stealth is good enough, since you can easily get bonuses up (or close) to 100 with one or two pieces of clothing (ninja rags maxes it at lvl 80, i think)
This is still an effective method to raise sneak as I was able to do it. I had to reload a few times due to skeletons and spiders spawning at the same time, killing each other. Best reload spot was the front gates of Rebirth. Only took 8 reloads to get only spiders.
Nice! Although high stealth is vital, strictly 100 stealth is overrated since there are so many even vanilla clothes that add stealth modifiers: +10% basket hat, +30% ninja rags, +15% small thieves bag, +10% rag black pants...
this is super fast ,if u dont want to go to such a location though a drifter in any bar can also work just not as fast. todo it u gotta attempt stealth ko on a drifter(nobody cares about them) and fail ,that way he becomes hostile and u can just sneak behind him in circles. gives really good exp too.
ah so if ur stealthing around hostiles thats what gets the xp modifier? makes sense now. i runnin from the desert to base. 0 stealth.. in stealth at best i get 20% bonus. finally someone 1 char tried to atk us. next thing i knew the stealth was flying in xp. and i seen it said 150%..... he chased us for 20 lvls lol before finally landing a hit i guess. but yea i came here to understand the mechanics better.
Best way to clear out Blood spiders is crosbows lots of them. A half squad of bowmen makes for good back up for a half squad of swordsmen , works great on beak things as they are so large they are hard to miss and well against bspiders because there are so many of them your less likely to hit the melee guys blocking, Even shitty bows work ok on spiders. when training bowmen use shitty bows so stray shots don't hurt you guys so much when you miss
I've got the TOTW Mod and it adds some mini bosses and factions. So, unluckily it summoned a Skeleton there, on Lost Libraries and he swooped all of the blood spiders LOL. I couldn't get any sneak points :(
its also for combat skills. if you use lots of heavy armor that impedes your combat skills and you fight like that, you will be able to get much more combat xp like that from lower level enemies than just using equipment that boosts your stats all the time. because game looks at your current stats and if you are fighting enemies with higher stats than yourself you get more xp.
The backpack does not affect stealth leveling. Reducing the skill level to get more experience is stronger opponent logic. But it does not work for stealth, so reducing the stealth skill does not increase its leveling experience in any way.@@TwistedLogicGaming
so i had a thought i will try this out today. if u put an agressive creature in a bed while its awake and or once it wakes. could u then just sneak around it in the building and get sneak that way at 150% exp? just thought of this randomly while eating been few days since i seen this video. i kept thinking their had to be a more simple way. worst case imo be 1 companion attacks creature to keep it or make it red? while 2nd or + chars just sneak around in passive. power lvling. maybe they all need to hit the creature once i dk. just have to trial and error it.
Perhaps that would work, I have gained passive xp with my entire base sneaking and a few hostiles around. the more the better - that is one of the reasons the blood spiders are so great, there are alot of them. idk if it would work in bed but I cant see why it would not! Happy Gaming !
My least annoying method is combining it with the hive village near the hub. Mining copper, ma training on a gorrilo and running around stealthed in the crowds. Especially when they go in the buildings with 30? In a row. And just go in the opposite direction. Question: once you reach a modified score of 100, like 100 (7). Do you need more? I equipped 1 stealth leg and one speed leg and it seems more than enough.
@@TwistedLogicGaming ye that was my experience lol. The stealth / run leg combo looks weird, but does give best of both worlds. Also got a similar thing with arms, mor hp on the right and str on the left. I like min maxing and tweskin ;)
What is the difference between doing this and using a trainer heh... It is basically cheesing the game and in kenshi there are so many ways to do this.
The rates are dependent on a few factors and the game makes checks based on these factors to come up with the xp rate. These are the factors I know about: -Hostility. If allied, xp rate is null. if neutral, xp rate is low. if hostile, xp rate is high. -Observer Squad size. How many people can possibly detect the sneaking person. -Distance. How close is the sneaky person to npc(s) -Facing. sneaking behind someone gains XP slower than in front of them. Stat Modifiers (The worse effective stealth number you have the better for xp gain) -Gear. Ditch the ninja rags and find the clankiest armor + backpack / Negative Stealth modifiers -Weight. Carrying heavy things and armor will negatively affect your stealthiness. -Wounds. They will make you slower and noisier. -Light/weather - for training day time light and clear weather is best. night/rain is best for missions -(I thought there was also a your toughness vs their toughness calculation but i can't find anything on that right now, so that could be wrong.) -Every 5 levels of all stats take 8x or 16x longer than the last 5 levels.
yeah that can sometimes happen; you can re-imoprt dead npc's if you want to. But be warned this will return all bosses back to life. if that is not an option sneaking around the fog nests can be good, alot of people suggest southern Hive but I personally never tried out that area. I hope that helps, Thanks for watching!
So the game is very stupid cause it only looks at horizontal, but not vertical distance or the actual distance that your enemy needs to travel before getting to you. A couple of lines of programming can easily fix this loophole.
@@TwistedLogicGaming The spiders obviously do not attack you because they know the travelling distance that is needed to reach you. However, the leveling of the stealth skill does not take this into account and only looks at the horizontal distance between your character and the spiders. That is what I will call lazy programming. I did not program the game, nor did I see the code. just asking questions because this the first time I have heard this theory, please explain: How would towers and city walls with this theory, ranged units can shoot properly up and down ? You sure its not that the blood spiders vision cones are smaller than there exp range And that sneaking around on a cliff is irrelevant to this and this can be done in locations where there are numerous hostiles, and because they are bound to the nest their movements are constrained and therefore predictable ? so we are all on the same page stealth is affected by these factors: Cover. @@TwistedLogicGaming There is a difference between vertical y and horizontal distance x and the actual distance z^2 = x^2 + y^2. I believe most games like Project Zomboid only use the horizontal distance for calculating things in general. I suppose your enemy decides to chase or stop chasing you depending on the "pathfinding" distance between the two and whether your enemy loses sight of your character because of a big cliff after turning a corner. The leveling of the stealth skill, I believe, is based on the horizontal distance between your character and your enemy. This creates a loophole that you are exploiting.
This can be done in many locations using beakthings nests and dustbadit camps ect ect. and the ramp does not matters for the Xp or methode; I like this location becasue it is consistant where the nests and camps can have randomized locations. it's an interesting theory to ponder, I would think that if it is based on vision and if you are seen or not it should be based off line of sight and not pathfinding or a hard distance, since cover exists in this game I would presume athe looking up at clif would not give the viewer the same sight as looking down from the game camera.
