- Hi Everyone,
Today I am sharing my Recipe of preparing Kalonji or Black Seed (Nigella Sativa) Hair oil at home.
This is a great remedy to cure baldness, stop Pre-Mature Graying (White Hair) and grow hair thicker.
Hope you find it useful.
A few things to remember:
1- Castor oil is easily available at all pharmacies, chemists and online. You may choose any brand and even cold pressed castor oil. If unavailable use mustard oil.
2- Use coconut oil for best results instead of olive or any other oil.
3- Heat infusion would ensure no nutrients are lost.
4- Use a glass container only besides China Clay. NO PLASTIC please!
5- Keep it in the sun for ATLEAST 5 DAYS. Before usage. I generally keep it out for 10-12 days, while still using it.
6- Being all natural, it can be used everyday.
7- Otherwise use it twice a week atleast. And leave it overnight. Shampoo as usual the next.
8- The Residue of the seeds can also be used in hair. It would not harm.
9- Kalonji and methi seeds are easily available at all Indian grocery stores and even online.

Block seed, fenugreek seed 2 tbsp ea.... castor oil,200ml, coconut oil 50ml, heat in hot water, sit in sun 10. Days

I dont use castor oil as i get severe hairfall due to it...i nly use kalonji n coconut oil that wrks best Masha Allah....also i think people wit more body heat kalonji wud wrk...people with cooler body temperature castrol oil wud suit....this is as per my observation...but the video is quite informative...gud wrk..👍

There is a huge difference between lamp and sunlight. What sunlight does is it gives heat and because of that heat the infusion gets done perfectly.

Staying up after midnight creates excess heatiness in the body that will affect the scalp ( dry / angry hair- think dry parched grass). 1. Drinking fresh coconut water in the morning after sunrise 2. Cool down the scalp with massage i) aloe Vera gel +vitamin E capsule when awake ( this is from friend, doesn't work for me) 3. Fenugreek seed soaked in water, boil in water with 3 bay leaves, 1tbs of clove powder. Filter and massage into scalp when awake.4. Soak seeds in drinking water and eat raw next day ( chia, fenugreek, fennel, sesame, flax, sunflower) 5. Say no to AGE products/ lifestyle. 6. Drink warm water mix with blackstrapp molasses 1 tsp when awake, empty stomach & / chrysanthemum flower hot tea with wolf berry ( goji berry ) when awake 7. Before sleeping, drink 1 tsp of hatitaki powder soaked in warm water. Filter and drink. OR .Soak cumin seed, fennel seed, 3 cardamom small piece of cinnamon ( I.use powder). Drink next morning after Filter. Can drink this before sleeping and when wake up.

Sushmita I have a great confusion in nigella and black sesame seeds. As I read mostly black sesame seeds are considered good for hair and I don't know much about nigella. Can you please make me clear with this ??
Both of them will help with grey hairs. I use black seed oil for hair mask and eat black sesame.

Q- I have a lot of grays to which I apply henna (obviously looking from your videos) trust me it does wonders, I am going to straighten my hair.. now my question is that will it be okay to apply henna on treated hair?? Hey Ashwini..thank you for your kind words.
1- Henna or ayurvedic hair packs can not be used on chemically straightened hair.
2- When the hair is rebonded or relaxed, the texture is forcibly changed using chemicals. Hence, special products that are tailor-made for such hair have to be used to keep the newly acquired texture intact. (You may get this confirmed from any expert)
3- I suggest you to avoid getting straightening done if you already have gray strands. As I know of various women, who complained of severe graying after rebonding.
Use Bhringraj and amla pack, which I shared previously, to improve your graying condition.
You may also consult at your salon about this. Let's see what they have to say.

Hi Sushmita, I have hair breakage issue where my hair falls too much while combing. It is so scary for me that I don't comb them on most days. Another issue is that I have premature greying and I use ammonia free hair color almost every 20 days, since I don't like henna smell and the orangish color it gives to my hair. I have consulted doctors but they say my hair is stronger at the scalp. What should I do? Please would you help.
Your case sounds quite touching, l advise you to soak 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in 300 ml in hot water in the morning frequently because fenugreek does treatment from inside the body also

Thank for sharing this DIY. My question is where I live(UK) the sun is a rarity as we are approaching winter. So how else can I help infuse?
You don't need these much troubles trust me. Just plant aloevera as much as you can and use it for hair,face, thick brows,long eyelashes. Use it thrice in a week but if you want to see instant result then use aloevera paste whenever you put oil on your hair and before going sleep rub aloevera on your face as much as you can next morning you'll be surprised to see the difference. I used to had very rough hair and pimple skin aloevera saved my life i swear now I've the most shiny hair and glowing skin in my friend circle. I don't use any cosmetics they are all chemicals if i use them i got effected like i used ponds bb cream next day i got effected by pimple... Aloevera is the queen of every skin care/hair care.

Aloe Vera didn't do nothing for my hair and it burn my skin too. It was natural and fresh but it didn't agree with my hair or my skin.

Yes u can but olive has less hair growth properties than castor.

When I started using this remedy my hair was around my waist length and now it's till my upper thigh (I know.. that's a very weird way of telling someone your hair length but I never really measured my hair using measuring tape so 🤭)

no need to worry...where there is no sun ..oil infusion can be done there too! U can infuse it by 1) double boiler method for the time till the oil starts to change its colour and thn turn the flame off (2) after it, keep it aside in a room corner for 15days untouched airtighted.
After 15days u will get it ready to use.👍

200ml coconut oil
50ml castor oil
1. Grind seeds separately and put into glass jar
2. Heat the oil indirectly. Place hot water in a bowl then place glass jar in bowl for 30mins???
3. Let oil sit for at least 5 days in direct sunlight to become really potent (makes sure to shake each day to let sediment at the bottom really infuse the oil)
4. Use daily or as needed

I have exact same problem there's is very small peices of grounded seeds and they are too small to strain out and they are on my scalp in my hair and under my nails now
@@gemmaambrose2954 , buy some knee-high stockings and rubber bands...use as a strainer...the hose will collect the finest seed...use rubber band to secure hose on bottle...pour though hose...you can squeeze the hose for excess oil once it cools...or you can put the seeds in the hose and let it soak in the oil...or pour warmed oil over it and let it brew...I find packs of panty hose at a thrift store for 3.00..for a pack of four, that have never bee opened...works for me. lol

Hello. I'm Bob, 64 years old. I will try this, especially for my white beard! You don't specify EXACTLY how much grounded black cumin and fenugreek seeds, for the mixture? Is that glass container (with lid), and grinder, available on Amazon? Please respond. Thank you.
2 Tbsp of Kalanji (black) seeds and 2 Tbsp of Fenugreek seeds. Grind those seeds to powder and use the powder in your oil. You can use a mason jar (with the lid), and a coffee grinder - all of the ingredients and the tools can be bought on Amazon (this is where I got mine). Hope this helps. 😊

And have healthy food, and wash your hair with this hair pack (egg, curd, Aloe Vera and little lime juice) and wash it off with a mild shampoo. End of the hairwash, use rice water. Since rice water, makes your hair dense. Follow this twice a week, I chew 5 curry leaves in empty stomach in the morning. This improves your hair growth.

After brushing your teeth in the morning, chew 5-6 curry leaves in empty stomach every day. This reduces the growth of grey hair. Please, have healthy homemade food .
