Twiggy recounting the details of her first Biba dress is EVERY Biba customer remembering those long ago purchases and the joy they brought us! We wore them until they fell to bits (one reason so few of the really good items survived to the present day). No other designer/ store had the Biba originality and mystique. It was a truly magical place, that felt more like you were entering an exclusive, luxurious club than a shop, yet open to all and very affordable. No wonder those clothes flew off the racks! Congratulations to all involved with the exhibition, and Welcome Home, Barbara!
Love that she's 87 & still going strong. She & Mary Quant totally revolutionionized global fashion starting in 60's London. It was such a magical time. Everything was breaking barriers. Clothes & music especially. Great time to be there for.
Greetings from Australia! I hope this exhibition comes here! I recently bought my first 1960s Biba coat from a seller in Poland! I look forward to seeing it and wearing it come winter!

Ana Sui wouldn't exist without Hulanicki!
And I adored Ana Sui in the 90ies so much.

And she helped save South Beach almost single handed.
Twiggy looks fabulous !!!
Used to go to the Biba store every Saturday, it was an experience, also went to small Biba
I never made it inside the store but passed by it quite often and remember shopping bags with BIBA name in gold.
I love Barbara we’ve been neighbors for the last decade visiting her home is always a great time
If I could go back in time, I’d go to Big Biba 😭
I would love a pattern for the original dress 🤍
Ingrid Boulting was another beautiful face of Biba.
Love her!
She is the Mother of the look that we here in the states came to refer to as RICH HIPPIE. IMO.
God Bless BABARA!
I have been there once in 1973.. It was so dark greetings denmark
1:40 She has a remarkable whiff of Warhol if Warhol had lived to 80!
It doesn't just speak to young women, it speaks to some young men too!
❤❤❤
03:05, How very interesting. ☺
Why is fashion so popular?
because we all wear clothes
I love Wayne’s world
Ongo Gablogian?
Derivative!
She has a jaw like Thanos.
Don't be unkind. She is beautiful, very chic and a design icon you could only dream of.
Grow up
Crickey I thought there was more news on Savile when I first glanced at the picture .
If you had said Bernie Eccleston, I could kind of understand. She has aged gracefully and good for her.
The old girl, or guy needs a wrinkle filler.
Biba still going to Jimmy Savile’s barber….
Troll
Is Biba Netanyahu?
