I am one to request, the world would definitely benefit from Suzy's perspective, reflection and commentary on some of the most impactful shows. As a series that would be equivalent to a library card in education
Thank you for this. Not one to request but everyone would definitely benefit from more of Suzy's input and commentary on her experience with the history of fashion. Really beautiful x
Oh, Suzy (and Showstudio), that was so good. I love your POV: always clear, and non-elitist in the gentle rhythm you bring fashion history in to the conversation, so as I can understand it, and get it completely. X
SO GOOD! I would love to see more of these with different people who work in the industry! SHOWstudio never ceases to amaze me with the top-notch content.
Just by chance I went to Isetan in Shinjuku Tokyo and Rei Kawakubo was holding a presentation of photographs. Her hea8 wa cut on the bias with a strong blue edge and she easily smiled at us as we looked at the images. Memorable
Martin was and is completely modern I modeled for him made his fashion films wore his clothes they were utterly well made in the highest quality fabrics completely wearable, mysterious and true
wow! one cannot fathom the amount of platitudes this lady has been uttering. I'm wondering how did she manage to sneak in for such a long time in the industry
How dare you, Suzy Menkes, calling the 80s vulgar and loud? We all had the most fun. We have been bored since. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............
What a great idea. More of these please...... Here comes a new series I hope xxx
She is the undisputed Queen of fashion reporting.

I hope you do more of these!
This was great!!!! Thank you!! Its great to see someone being articulate about things that they really love!
I am especially drawn to the purses in the lacroix show! And the lace cycling shorts =]

These are my favorite !!!!

what a fantastic video!! more of these please
Suzy is an unsung hero. In a climate of logos printed on t shirts, she represents a piercingly real voice in fashion. A true purveyor of real design.
I love this, Suzy makes it all sound so fascinating, so beautiful.
and today you will never see mrs menkes when a new designer is making their debut!
That is why she is the greatest of all. Ver deep, personal and unusual choices.
wow! one cannot fathom the amount of platitudes this lady has been uttering. I'm wondering how did she manage to sneak in for such a long time in the industry
Thank you! We Love you Suzy
I cried during the Jean Patou show
Love how suzy judged the clothes for what they were and not whether/not they suited her because she knows what her job is and herself!
Karl Lagerfeld: She can write and say anything she wants because she IS Suzy Menkes!
I remember that quote from one of my favorite fashion documentaries!!!!
@@TASconfidential Which documentary was that?
She is the best !
When I think of Lacroix I think of Eddie Monsoon.
what abt Louis Vuitton S/S 2008?
LONG LIVES LACROIX !!!
MARAVILHOSA. ❤️✨
The sound quality of this video is terrible.
Monsieur Lacroix and the whimsical and decadent baroque/rococo femininity of his work is greatly missed!
🙌
I want some of those clothes from the lumps and bumps and not wear the pads! =]
suzy sounds like a dementia patient free associating about fashion shows she remembers from the 90s
How dare you, Suzy Menkes, calling the 80s vulgar and loud? We all had the most fun. We have been bored since. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............
The 80's WERE vulgar and loud. Thats's part of what made them so great!
Creepy angle and lighting. Is it really necessary. Just let us look her in the eye and speak. Silly
