I saw Melvins play Newcastle uk in the mid 90’s and there was about 30 people there and they played for 3 hours !!! They played the best part of stag and a selection of material from the start up to that point !!! Best gig I have ever saw !!!
I miss fantomas !!! I got to see fantomas one time and the fantomas Melvin’s big band one time and they were always top tier live and the in the studio !!! I know we will probably not get another album or tour but I would love it if they did !!!
Legends truly. I have a Fantomas show or two on my page that i may have filmed. There's a Melvins vid too, with Adam from TOOL on guitar. Good interview, I'm jealous af! hah
I don’t think Patton has ever claimed true 100% sobriety. He just says that he got really bad with alcoholism during Covid. But he doesn’t really smoke. Maybe did for a small amount of time. And he’s down for a glass of wine from time to time. People just projected straight edge onto him. But also, he did wear the X’s on his hands sometimes with dead cross. So it’s possible he’s attempted a straight edge lifestyle. But. He never did hard drugs afaik
@@R-mr8ge is patton to blame for these questions or the interviewers who ask them? by his reaction it looks like trevor seems salty not about the question, but about patton himself. "he claims a lot of things" wtf was that even
I noticed that as well. It's funny that Buzz says "we don't see him around a lot", when in truth Trevor has been around him quite a bit this year touring with Bungle. On the other hand, that reaction might have just been his way of not wanting to speak about Pattons personal life in some random podcast.
King Buzzo - I know you won't read this but I'm 99% sure that show was 8/16/1998 in Nampa, Idaho. I met the Tool guys (everyone but MJK) in 2015 and asked them if that's the only show they've ever cut short due to shitty crowd. Justin said he hadn't been with the band the whole time but it was the only one he could remember.
I've been in a few of those less than 10 people audiences and I'm here to tell you each and every time it is amazing! Love you Trevor!

31:30 💀💀💀💀 what was that reaction from trevor
Maybe he's a bit tired of being asked questions about Patton. I know I would.

you choose all your own support even in Europe?? Hope not as the Amsterdam support was a total waste of unoriginality.
