    I really love these episodes! As an American in Paris, I was shocked to see the americanization of France upon arrival.

    These are such fun podcasts, I'm enjoy watching them all!^^ If you guys want to interview someone on Lafayette, I'd recommend reaching out to the Lafayette Trail Inc. He does a video series on the history about Lafayette's tour of the US, and they've been placing markers in all the places he visited.

    My immediate take-away from watching these is how relaxed a non-French person who has competence in speaking French (me) can be just by being themselves and enjoying the world around them without freaking out about criticism, rejection, proper grammar, syntax, etc...

    A mon avis, tous les pays ou l’on parle anglais sont “colonies americaines.” Je suis plus agee que vous, Alex et Tim; quand j’etais un enfant en Angleterre, beaucoup de programmes televises etaient americains.
    En 1980, j’avais seize ans. A Venise, j’ai regarde un film americain, en plein air sur une place publique. Il y avait des sous-titres italiens.
    C’est vrai, la culture Americaine est mondiale.

    I love this podcast😍 it has helped me a lot with my french classes. Something I would like to know more about is the other languages that come from french, for example, creole. I’m from Dominican Republic (the country next to Haiti) and there are so many words that you think are in french, but they are in creole. I’m curious to know why the difference, and what other languages come from french. Keep up the great work, j’adore tes videos 👏🏻
