    I noticed that the bike doesn't have a skid plate. I highly recommend the AeroMach Debris Shield. The bike will last a lot longer with a skid plate and it will protect the oil filter area, which can be dangerous if a rock gets lodged up there.

    This is the best advertising for the bike and the sheer endless customising possibilities. The exhaust alone would probably only improve sound and diving behaviour due to the reduced weight?

  • @user_mac0153

    Maybe the Power Commander is a usefull fuel management system, considering the Power Vision CX will flash the ECU map directly without a long piggyback install, but the Power Commander 5 is largely unnecessary for upgraded Exh+A/F and ECU remap.

    Just curious why not use the Vance and Hines FP3. It looks like a much simpler installation.

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They do not make the fp3 for the Indian, only for Harleys, you would have to go for the regular fuelpak that is not as flexible as the PCV, I'm talking about being able to use it with different exhaust, filter and other mods. Beside that, both, me and the owner trusted dynojet to be pretty reliable.

  • @GaryHsmr

    Thanks for the videos Albe they're great. On my scout I have these CP Shorty slip ons and and about to install the Arlen Ness Torque Bow air intake. I was not planning on buying a power commander. But I do plan to have the dealer remap or flash the bikes computer. Will this do the same as having the power commander?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gary, just about, the advantage of the power commander is that you can change the maps at will, for example if you modify your bike some more you can just change the maps on your own or if you go back to stock you can just reinstall the stock map, while if you have the dealer flash your ECU you have to keep going back.

    Hi Albe! Great Video!! I connected the PCV as you show, engine runs ok, but the Check engine light is on. Did this happened to you? Is normal?
    How do you turn it off? Otherwise, I've noticed some delay in the throttle response? Is that normal? Thanks!!

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it's not normal, if you downloaded the right map, and you have connected the harness properly, there should be no check engine light. Double check that the right map was installed on the PCV and I would double check the connectors as well. I hope you solve the problem

    Sweet bike, have the same but in matte bronze. Looking to upgrade it a bit. If I did a new exhaust and air cleaner, do I NEED the power commander or can I just get it dyno tuned?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Super cool bike.
      Unless your tuner can re-map your bike's ECU, you will need a power commander (or other Fuel injection module) to load the tune.

    why not just go with the vision cx?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      A few reasons, if the owner wants to go back to stock it only has to disconnect the PC-V instead of reprogramming the ECU. If anything happens to the vision cx, lost, broke etc. The OEM tune is lost and that's a whole lot of problems. And then there is the autotune deal, Vision will not Autotune on the fly but will recommend tunes when hooked with a Autotune and then you can adjust after looking at data (not on fly), PC-V will do live adjustments on the fly with Autotune....and frankly I personally rather not reprogram the ECU in case anything goes wrong during the reprogramming.

    • @polskifacet
      @polskifacet 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AlbesADV good reasons, thank you the feedback. The only part that seems incorrect is loosing the stock tune. You can backup the stock tune file when you plug the vision cx unit into the computer.
