Rarely doing this, but I consider you a great guy, bringing great content to people in an overly noisy world. Keep dong what you do. It is appreciated.
Another great video Nicholas, thank you for sharing. I always have these great intentions of minimizing screen time and trimming down the apps but I struggle to cross that finish, always finding some excuse to keep them. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! All the very best in 2025!
This video just found me at the right time. I dedicated today to declutter my phone and here they are more ideas freely available to me. Thank you❤ Don’t forget you just gained a new subscriber.
You can have them (Geico) mail you paper insurance cards or print them out, The thought of getting pulled over and your phone won’t load is frightening.
Regarding books, I always preferred paper. The eye thing is so right, I feel like my eyes are actually resting and at the same time it feels more comfortable flipping pages than just scrolling on a screen. Thanks for the video and great ideas.
Regarding the hided apps, they are acessible on the folder below "Photos & Videos" that you can see on 5:35. The apps are invisible until you get your face scanned.
I actually just erased my phone today in preparation for the new year and this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I also have a love-hate relationship with my phone. Honestly, I would do just as well with a flip phone and an iPad mini for anything more complicated but I can't for now.
Another thing i will be more mindful with especially going into a new year is to be more true to who I give likes and engagement to on social media platforms. It's my views, likes and comments that make accounts grow and pay of peoples salaries. I want to give more to the ones who deserve it and less to the ones who honestly isn't true to them selves any more. Hence here's a comment, like and a Merry Christmas for making solid content over the years. Looking forward for more!
I definitely go through my contacts and delete unwanted numbers. The only things I have on my phone is whatever I need on the spot. Bank, mail, kindle, news, ride share, navigation, and music. When it comes to youtube, not being on my phone, but staying with it. I prefer to watch meaningful, knowledgeable videos to see how to do and live in certain ways.
I run a two device setup. iPad for when i choose to be online and in 2025 I will be getting the Mudita Kompakt which is a minimalist phone with e-Ink screen so no harmful blue light.
Went in also to delete contacts because I never thought to-I have over 300 contacts currently and only talk to a fraction of them-I’ll have an official total later but this list is definitely getting culled.
100% pulled up my contact list and started deleting as I continued to watch this video. How therapeutic in a way. Also, now I will never accidentally text/call the wrong contact of a person I haven’t spoken to in years 😂
Your editing and talking style has really improved, cuz the last time I saw one of your videos was in July 2022 as I forgot the password of this acount😅😊
I haven't had a cell phone since 2010, and maaaan it is getting more and more difficult not having one. For the last few years, I've been using my partner’s phone when absolutely necessary. But I know I'll have to get my own someday. I'll be using these strategies for when that happens! (๑⚆‿⚆) Also, Great Value Keanu Reeves . . . I'd take that, haha! (๑˃‿˂)
If i get just 4 times a week to going to Cafe for my coffee it does mean 4 cups of coffee in 1 month Does we called it Frugal Living as well ? Somebody explain, please 😊
I review my phone contacts quarterly basis and delete unnecessary ones, feel light to have a lighter but meaningful contact list. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance, Nicholas 🎄 Love from Kolkata 🇮🇳
The only thing is I do not want a minimal phone. What is the point of having a smartphone anyway if it I make it minimal 😅. For me,.take phone put it away when not using,.take it and use it to the full potential when I am using it, no middle ground. That is just me though
Also, thank you guys for everything this year. I appreciate all the kind works more than I could ever let you know. Have a great new year 🎉

That's super generous, and I thank you for the kind words. Thanks for the support and I hope you stick around for the long haul.

Merry Christmas to you and your family too!! Appreciate the support so much.
Took your advice to delete contacts, and it feels good to have a tighter list of people I actually want to stay in touch with.
Love the tips here. A clean phone makes me super happy!
Thank you for another year of great content man, God bless you!
You too my friend and thank you so much.
Thanks Nicholas, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Been struggling with phone addiction. I’ll try these out for myself. Nice job!

It really is one of my favorite things to declutter 😅
Love the rationale behind contact deletion. Prioritizing the people in our lives
I have 17 contacts on my phone.. ❤

I meant 2023*

About the watch. I just switched from smartwatch to hybridwatch (Kronaby). It feels amazing. Connected, not distracted :)
I see you gaming with a webcam - do you livestream? Would follow and watch, if so! Also, thank you for the great videos!
It'll be here when I do! www.youtube.com/@attackonnick
@@NicholasGarofola 👍 Thank you! Subbed!
Confirming I used the Ultima Weapon on the like button
Its kinda funny when you talk about phone minimalism and encourage to hit subscribe button and add advertisements 😅

I immediately went i to my contact list and deleted almost 200 random ass people lol. Thx
Hello
First comment ❤
Thanks for being here! 🙏
Now suddenly I realize that you don't have any social network! And oh why?
May change that soon, although everything seems terrible to use
@NicholasGarofola And because you're a minimalist you'll only be on one social network?
Android's in the corner...
