Everdirengrey. Neat. Haven't really listened to Evergrey in a decade and a half, but while DEG is my favorite band, Aka is a tune that's completely slipped through the cracks for me. Appreciate the reminders!

Btw I love this track by Evergrey. Your talked a bit about the vocals but what I like is the instrumental side. Really, really like it.
Great vid man. Also FYI Gaerea just dropped a new track “to Ain” about two weeks ago. In my opinion it’s their best track yet. You should definitely check it out since you liked their other work so much.
I listened to "To Ain" the day it was released. I'll most likely cover the recently released live version on the channel. I get contacted directly when new Gaerea stuff comes up. To Ain is utterly incredible.
Would appreciate it if you'd give the vk band ザアザア (xaa xaa) a look. I only just found these guys a couple of months ago and it's a real shame that they don't seem to be bigger because they've definitely got some great talent and an already extensive discography. You can definitely tell that MUCC was a big influence on these guys, sometimes their tracks sound like they belong on the 6 or gokusai albums. I'd recommend checking out the songs "dosuguroi" ( th-cam.com/video/oH-Ym_ztUQU/w-d-xo.html ) and "ame ni korosareru" ( th-cam.com/video/-4QoCNzNUoM/w-d-xo.html )
I've never heard of Evergrey, and this was a very interesting way to introduce their music! I'm glad I watched. I found it while looking through your videos to see if you'd reacted to/reviewed/given your opinion of this Dir en Grey + Sugizo LUNATIC FEST performance: th-cam.com/video/UNDc9zQx-Go/w-d-xo.html . I've learned a lot from how you break down the technical aspects of musicians' styles, timing, and choices throughout different songs. That's helped me to develop a deeper appreciation for live music in particular, and if you should ever have the time and interest, I'd love to see/hear what you think of this performance. Anyway, thank you for doing these videos and helping us enjoy music on a deeper level.
This is a really cool concept! I did not really know about Evergrey but I will listen to the new album today and go from there 😊 All the information about the guitar work was very cool! I can not think of a good combination at the moment, or more I think of one but I believe it will not match the channel 😂 I really want to recommend the song Uso from sukekiyo to you if you have not heard it yet. I remember you have a dog so I imagine he/she was and is a great help during these times.
