I am you should come- I actually have a spot on my March 2 Charleston workshop - someone who bought her space cannot go.:) I told her I would try and sell her tix since I don't do refunds- but you can easily resell it like a concert tix.
Absolutely LOVED this Christmas card presentation! Please continue live presentation, it’s like you were in my kitchen! Happy Holidays, your Student, Karen Dirmish
Did this today and love it! Almost stopped partway thru (I have trouble being “loose”) but kept going and trusted the process. Going to make a couple more now. Thanks Ellen
@@ellencrimitrent just to follow up, I did the tutorial and it turned out great! I actually had some arches rough. I like it better than cold pressed. Thanks so much for your tutorials. I especially like these loose textured techniquey tutorials. Merry Christmas!
It's a really pretty blue-green on my screen....not ugly gray! This I hope will be my New Year's card...."peace" for 2023. Thank you! happiest of holidays! ❣
I will this a try tomorrow. Have been working on your card with black paper, a taped off square in the center and metallic gold and other color leaves, flowers & dots. It was fun and final results not bad for the first try. What i like to do is watch your tutorial a couple times, use your painting as inspiration and then do my own version. It is interesting to see how similar my painting compares to yours. While they are often quite different one can tell they are related. Thank you for motivating and inspiring me to paint with watercolor after not doing so for decades. I taught painting for years (all media) but your techniques are quite different than what i use to do. I am loving this journey and want to sincerely thank you for your videos. Susan in NC
You are so talented. I made this card which is so beautiful and gave it to someone. They really liked it so thank you so much for sharing this! It was a lot of fun to make and you are fun to listen to.
I could see the bluish green colour that you thought looked a bit grey and I think your top painting would look good as a portrait card? do you think? Your tutorial was brilliant Ellen, thank you for your inspiration and how to get to the end !😊xx
Ellen, just made four cards and ready to make some more. So fun. Joined your membership group yesterday. Looking forward to more inspiration and fun. Susan
Thank you Ellen, your comments throughout the entire video help me understand the process. But, I wish you would have let me see the paint dry between painting, spritzing and spritzing, I never know how long to wait before moving on. Love this
I love these! Kind of a “Go Within” feeling for me. It’s fresh and fun and spontaneous. Also going to find some Arches Rough paper on sale and give these a try. Thanks for being real and taking risks.❤
I have a question, all the way from Norway! Love your tutorials, it's so fun and I guess I learn a lot too! So the question: what can I use as the alchohol spray, i don't drink alcohol anymore, and don't have it in my home except for white spirit/ thinner for brushes I use for oilpainting. Thank you so much for allbthe inspiration and happy hours! Love from Lise
Ooh this looks great fun Ellen 😀 I really enjoy your videos, love your enthusiasm 😊 Wiggle wiggle made me smile, it's my baby grandaughter's favourite thing to say at the moment 😁
Ellen, how do I get further info regarding your videos. What is Patreon? During your demonstrations, I feel you are right here with me and making me laugh while you turn out amazing art! I haven’t seen any videos that equal your demos! Thanks Sheila from CT
I wish you would list the paint colors and supplies in advance. It's hard to follow along and try to figure out what colors and brushes to have ready . Thanks.
If you scroll down everything is listed. Ellen essentially uses pretty much the same colors because she can mix whatever colors she wants with what she has before her.
Love these Ellen…like the blue/green & splatter..feels like it’s snowing on the card & the blurring effect…
Wow. I love your tutorials, especially the abstracts. This is one of my favorites by far.
Glad you like them!
I am so inspired by the abstract videos tonight. My traditional tree cards are not going to be on this years' agenda!! Thank you!!
I enjoy ALL your videos. I’m best, as a beginner, with the abstracts. Thank you for all you do to help us out here.
I really like the real time presentation. Thank you

I tried this one a couple weeks ago. Good first try but my pine branches looked more like palm branches. Plan to try again with a smaller brush.
From Susan. Love these and I just happen to have some Arches rough in the cupboard, Thank you, Ellen

I'm so glad!
Love it! I felt like I was there with you! Is that just rubbing alcohol or is water mixed with it? Going to give this a try definitely!

What kind of glue should you use to secure the painting to the card stock? Thanks
Wow! Such fun! Also love your palette. Where did you get it?

yup
you can read the description box first with all my supplies I used then watch the video :)
❤
Is that rubbing alcohol you use in the spray bottle?
What tape are you using?
Stamp the lettering, that's what I would do
Why do you always make your green paints?
