Hey Julien, Fusion 360 isn't actually that processor hungry like other CAD programs so you can get away with a good bit. I only run windows machines so I can't really offer much insight into Apple products. I use a core i7-10700k cpu. This is an 8 core system at 3.8ghz with boosts up to 5.1ghz. I opted to go low on the graphics card with a Quadro P620 and spend more on the processor and ram. When i was doing more rendering and using more intensive programs I had a liquid cooled system with a very expensive graphics card and benchmarking told me it didn't make much of a difference for me. You will see performance gains in certain areas but largely I would say go for the fastest GHz speed focusing on a single core. Because multi-threading isn't really optimized and most programs share that first core sadly.
Where can I purchase this scan? Looking to do this as a project for inside a awd 2020 model 3 (pre-heatpump) doing experiments for a front air dam/spoiler to improve drag
The person who let me use it in the videos paid to have the car scanned. I don't know exactly if it was his car or if he found a scan of it. I know he mentioned he paid quite a lot which leads me to believe it was a scan of his car. If you are just doing some experiements have you checked SketchFab? Those won't be scans but might give you what you need. I can try to reach out to the person who sent this but I can't say if they would be willing to sell it or not.
@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign ok so more on the lines of this since sketchlab is not enough. Since I need to remove the front trunk and use the cavitation for a custom spoiler. Passing through the air dam on the front bumper. If this does not have internals then I need to do it myself and mesh it together with the motor I’m mounting. But honestly thanks for replying to this old video. It’s very rare for a creator to reply.
@@polarbearigloo No problem! i try to reply to every comment. The scan didn't have internals under the hood, but did have individual mesh bodies for each panel. It did include some extras like door panels, but Nothing mechanical. Ill reach out to the person who sent it. Go ahead and drop me an email support@caducator.com and if they want to entertain the idea I will connect you two.
Well done man😎👍👍
I am learning a lot from your video tutorial✌️🔝
Glad to hear that! The person this spoiler was for 3d printed it and sent me some pics. Hope to update it in the near future with an installed pic :)
Experiments in making a car less efficient- thanks for the process insight, though!
Most modifications are lol. You don't put wider tires and make more horsepower to do ultra mileage runs.
Hello,
What’s the best labtop for fusion 360? Apple or windows. And is the cool configuration to run the software?
Thanks for yours videos

@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign hello Matt
I have a problem to create a frame. Can I dm you to explain my problem ?
sure, email me support@caducator.com

sell stl file for wing? pwz hahaa
Wish I could. The guy that it was for printed it and put it on his car and it looked good, but then lost touch.
