Just got myself the CA-53W in green which I prefer over your choice, and I'm tempted to get it in red too. I'd add the Casio EFV-130D to the collection - an absolute strap-monster with its white dial! As an everyday I'd get a Tissot Chrono XL with green dial but change the strap for a decent Milanese. And for some luxury-fun I'd add a Pagani (yes, you heard that right) 1661 Submariner hommage with a blue dial and get some decent natos - I've been asked many times if that is a Rolex, which is fun. So in total we're well under 600 £ - in normal shops. If you don't like the Tissot for being big and quartz you could go for a Seiko Cocktail Time instead for an extra 100 £, maybe in light-blue. Cheers!

Russ I’ve got both the Citizens. With the bullhead I found it too small on my wrist due to the lug width/bracelet . I put it on a black leather bund strap! WOW!🤩👍🏼😎
Citizen is killing it. I have a Promaster NY0086 pepsi, which I think is great. I'm close to pulling the trigger on one of their high accuracy quartz with eco drive. They deserve credit.

I have a four watch collection including a Zelos x2 RZE and a G Shock square which in my opinion is a better collection than this for around £1000! Great video as always 😎
Darn it... It has worked. Have been scouring that website for almost an hour now. Thought I would be looking for a sub 1000 collection of 4 watches. Seems I'm looking for myself now 😬 Well played and thanks for this website. They really have great prices!! And no I'm not linked to the shop or the MWC 😁 And yes, I now know for sure I can get a better collection of 4 under a 1000, at least to my taste. Hadn't seen the prx with white dial and white band. Never thought much of all that hype for the prx, but this one.....
I would take that case straight to the milling machine and take the lug width out to 20mm’s, there is enough metal on the case and with drilled lugs it would be a fantastic mod to make
The Bulova/Citizen wheel is on the ascendancy. I wonder if that is generated by the Social Media or the quality of the watches. Which comes first these days, chicken or egg?
Any brand that looks back at their old references for inspiration deserve my love!!!! This is the edge and the way to combat against the endless AliExpress brands popping up with decent specs!
Oddly enough - I don’t like either of these four. And I have absolutely the same watch preferences and taste as you do. What made you choose these four models?
Bulova did not lose out on the contract, they withdrew. Rumor has it that Omar Bradley, who was Bulova's chairman at the time learned through his numerous Pentagon contacts that the contract was for a small number of watches and wouldn't justify the expense of completing the contract. Bulova introduced the Accutron tuning fork movement later that year.

Great collection. Love all 4 of them!
Love the Bulova, the lug width is what put me off 😮
Same with me. I don't mind 18mm at a push, but 16mm is just so narrow - plus I'd have to buy a whole load more straps!
I have one and it really isn't as bad as you'd think.

I really like the Bulova. I could live with the 16mm lug width, but not so much with the 50mm lug to lug length.

By far the best wife comments to date. “Bull head…bull s#!$”
The lug width on the Mil-Ships is utterly ridiculous. That nato looks like a shoelace.
There is so much to like about the Bulova, but the 16mm lug width, for me, kills it. Shame.

No on that Casio! No on the Bulova! Helllll no on the Citizen and DOUBLE no on that chrono. Jeeez.
The thing I hate about that Bulova is indeed that weird, weird lug width. 16mm, who does that?
The missus likes Hamiltons. That´s something.
