Katrina Nicolayeff is an internationally renowned fiddle player and multi-talented musician and teacher.
A musical prodigy in every sense of the word: playing rhythms on the violin at 16 months old and entering her first fiddle contest when she was only 2.
Katrina was the first woman crowned "Grand Champion" of the National Old Time Fiddler's contest for the 5th time and then broke the record in 2021 winning it for the 6th time.
In September 2021 Katrina also broke the record at the international Grand Master Fiddlers Championship, essentially rendering her the official world fiddling champion.
Katrina is also an 9-time National Fiddling Champion and was awarded the title of National Grand Champion. She has taught music and performed all over the USA and Canada to include playing at the White House and the coveted Grand Ole Opry.
