Show us how to graphically draw in various ways.
OD, ID, Taper, Radius.
Because it is NOT as simple as it looks.... For example...
I have drawn in the graphics the following lines.
Line1 (DX) = X257. Z-2. (part)
Line2 = X253. Z0. (part)
Line3 = X160. (part)
Now I am confused on how I close the part, because if I close it right now, it will NOT cut down to the X160. it will only do the 2. Rad...
So...
Line4 = X160. Z3. (part)
Line5 = X257. Z3. (blank)
Line6 = X257. Z-2. (blank - back to start).
Now when I simulate this I get weird things.... Firstly the radius... Line 1 in simulation gives me X256.933 NOT X257. as I drew...
The next line is also wrong in the simulation Line2 simulation gives me X252.2 when I drew X253...
FURTHER MORE.... Line3 in my drawing it goes down to X160. but in the simulation it goes down to X155.8...
You guys (FANUC) need to work on the user friendliness of your controllers because my company is about to bin all FANUC controlled machines because the bosses have just had enough.

You know what? I think Fanuc is meant to be simple... which isn´t... I´d rather have old CNCPilot by Heideinhain on my Doosan lathes than Fanuc.... using MG-i just for contour grooving, nothing else... it´s useless as it writes in fucking three kilometer long lines if you ain´t using subpgms..

Simulator works fine however on the machine it keeps locking up , says executing in red and stops

@@andywalser2343 yes, it is... you just need to set your tool data correctly and add at least add a stock through START soft key.... then it´s fine, OD threading doesn´t work that great as there is just one type of "insert" for threading in graphic which has it´s Z0 at the tip - I have it set on the side of threading insert/threading bar if doing ID threading...means it´s crash the insert into the part in simulation
