I've spent the last 3 days at work trying to learn and understand how our new CNC lathe that has the Fanuc Guide-i plus works. These videos are starting to help however it would be really great to get some more in depth videos on the understanding of the cycles. if i define clearance and escape amount, why must i extend my entry and exit lines beyond the blank i also specified. the old Fanuc 3T that was replaced by this was more intuitive and much faster to use. You drew the contour of the finished part and then you told the machine the cycles you wanted to use to get there.
I saw that Manual guide i has a Interfere tab. I tried to use it for simulator process. However, I did not see any effect on workpiece. May you explain for me to understand more clearly about this Function ? Thank you so much !
