Question: Thank you for the content. My question is in writing academic essay, you quote the author's. If they check for plagiarism it might be high since you are quoting other people and you reference them. How do you navigate such issues? Thanks 🙏
It'll be considered plagiarism if you quote most of the things and it shows that one does not really understand the material so they require you to rephrase* what was written in the paper and write those things "in your own words" without copying the exact words written by the author, then you can put an in-text reference on those sentences to show that it's not your own ideas.
As an American, are the essays written in a test setting and timed or completed independently and due at a specific time? This is very clear template for wrong sa comprehensive essay.

I believe plagiarism is where you copy or steal someone’s work but if you quote then or reference them I think it’s you saying it’s not your own idea
