You can tell he cares about bees by the care with which he carefully prizes apart the colony (some other beekeepers seemed very rough with the way they treated unwanted bee colonies like this).
Great video, love the comedy for such a nerve racking event for the majority of views. Thanks so much for uploading and sharing this event with us. Blessing from Ontario, Canada
Just KK Yeah, lots of the bee keepers have a great sense of humour and I love to watch the videos, listen to the sound of the swarm and watch the comb be gently transplanted to the new hive.
I really wanted to find the queen on the comb so I could cage her and use her as a breeder. I thought a vacuum might risk damaging her. We did end up finding her once I hived them in my yard. In a standard removal where I'm not interested in preserving the genetics, I do use a beevac. It's much simpler and cleaner than peeling comb and searching. Thanks for watching.
+Katelyn Clipperton same I have nether been stung by a bee ! Bees don't like stinging people you know why? Winona know? Ok! Because when they sting someone they die strate away so but when a wasp stings you they don't die for ome reason! I don't know why

Thanks for sharing your bee adventure. I agree with the earlier comment by Jay. A bee vac would have sure been helpful. Reducing the number of bees on the comb while you worked and containing them may have helped decrease their overall defensiveness. You can make a bee vac or buy a nice one from Bushkill Bee Vac. It's worth having one if you do this type of work on a regular basis. It's nice to see that you care about the bees and you appreciate them. Thanks!
I am absolutely afraid of bees and its because I had over 4 hives when I was younger. I could never do this not even for a million bucks, true props my friend and great job
We bought an old church and there's a 🐝 hive in the wall that has been there at least 13 years for sure . I can imagine the honey 🍯 in the wall. You can smell the honey in the sanctuary very strong.
Me: *sees video* it wouldn't hurt if I clicked it...*clicks it* Guy: *messing with 50yrs worth of honey bees* Me: HES SO BRAVE!? IM SCARED OF JUST ONE BEE
I so need this fellow at my house. His calm around those little demons is fascinating. Even when he gets stung. I'd just fall off the ladder and die :)
Did you get the colony relocated? I have a big honey bee nest in my soffit. I can't get any help with it. I want to move them to an outdoor hive. Did you make a follow-up video on what to do?
I remember a time when my mom told me to get the mail on a Saturday morning. I was about 9 years old. When I opened the front door, I found a swarm of bees on the pathway leading to the mailbox and on a tree next to the path. I thought they were flies but I went in and told my parents. They called a bee remover who wasn't even wearing a bee protection suit, he was just wearing jeans and a T-Shirt. But he calmly captured the queen from the bees. After the queen was gone, the swarm of bees was over in just a couple of hours.
I had the same glove issue when I used the leather gloves. When the gloves were damp with honey or sweat the bees could sting straight through them. Also when they dried they would get hard as a rock. I solved that by going to Harbor Freight tools and getting elbow length BLUE rubber gloves. They allow for easy quick cleaning and are pliable when ever you use them.
Man:do u live here Me: ya Man:good cause bees lived and made a home here for 5 years and they are still here Me: f*ck this sh*t I'm out to the NOPE train
A tree fell on my mothers houses and it was full honey bees.Thankfully a bee guy rescued the hive. He climbed on the roof..cut the section of the tree down and the bees followed down the street in his truck...

These types of videos help me sleep, I think it's because all bee keepers voices are so soothing because I hate the way flying bugs sound
Just KK Yeah, lots of the bee keepers have a great sense of humour and I love to watch the videos, listen to the sound of the swarm and watch the comb be gently transplanted to the new hive.
This guy has the best bee-keeping personality

This is bee-coming a hobby. Watching bees is bee-lightful.
Would love to have seen a part two, was the queen found, and where was the hive taken to???
+Paula Gardner That would of been nice to see.
I died when you were talking about the 50 year old queen like "Ha! they haven't caught me yet!"
Ur so brave I would never do this lol

Wow,
About 50,000 bees
Well I'll find the queen (aka one out of 50,000 bees) in no time!
She would let you know if you didn't have an understanding. It's nice when they're being sweet like that.
did you ever find the queen?
Thanks! We did find her eventually and were able to graft a round of daughters from her. They are some hardy bees.
Did you get the colony relocated? I have a big honey bee nest in my soffit. I can't get any help with it. I want to move them to an outdoor hive. Did you make a follow-up video on what to do?
Amazing story, and your narrative is excellent! I can tell you are a VERY calm person. :)

WHO THE FUCK LIVES IN THAT HOUSE!!! I would not dare live in a house that has a bee infestation.
I remember a time when my mom told me to get the mail on a Saturday morning. I was about 9 years old. Team Epiphany Brayden o
No. Waste of Honey
Are you an idiot? Bees make honey, they are also endangered! They don't sting you unless you attack them!
If you burn the house, all the bees will die!
