I really want to see Metallo as the main villain of the future Superman movie. He's like Terminator, but with a chunk of kryptonite (one of Superman's greatest weakness) as his energy sourse !
I could totally see Lex ending up being a reluctant ally of Superman after John turns on him, being this unstoppable, well Terminator kind of like Amazo in that one episode of JLU. It could really challenge Superman’s morals I. That he saving a monster from a man who had his life ruined by that monster. Is EVERYone really worth saving. Can you just let people die? Is the blood of the people you don’t stop on your hands? Is Superman just as responsible for the likes of Metallo as Luthor because he just lets him get away every time? So many possibilities.

I mean Bizarro was sort of in SUperman 3 (Not called Bizarro, but still) and Bloodsport from TSS was a Superman villain in the comics, so at least 5 of Supes' Villains have been used in the movies
I really want to the Superman Revenge Squad in a film. Luthor just throws five villains at Sups, wrecking Metropolis, and at the end he did it all so he could get publicity for rebuilding the city while making Sups look reckless.
I think Mxysptlk would make for a great villain. I love that he’s someone Supes can’t just punch. Like in a movie if Superman has never faced a proper threat before, Mxy is great since while his power is enormous, he generally just want to entertain himself. Alternatively he works great as a later villain where in to prove his power there could be a scene where he’s choosing what villain to throw at Superman. He’s rummaging through his pockets pulling out Zod, Parasite, and Doomsday. Then when he has Doomsday out, Doomsday roars at him only for Myx to slap him like a mildly annoyed mother and say “stop it” before stuffing back in his pocket which would be both funny, and very intimidating.
I don’t really want to see Brainiac. I know he hasn’t been in a movie and he’s a big time villain and all, but he’s used so much in other media that I’m just so tired of seeing him (Injustice 2, Lego Batman 3, JLU, Suicide squad: kill the Justice league, etc.)

Honestly would be cool to see Atlas show up. While he isn’t as iconic as some other Superman villains, they did a lot of good stuff with him and I feel like he has a design that wouldn’t turn into a CGI abomination. Also, I do remember that when they used Atlas as a Superman villain in the late 2000s they took some inspiration from his Teen Titans 03 “counterpart” (they are VERY LOOSELY connected) and his arrogant yet brute nature would fit well for the screen.
Titano would be cool to see, I agree, but I think the ones I'm most excited about that you mentioned are Toyman, Parasite, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and of course Brainiac, who frankly I'm APPALLED hasn't gotten a movie yet. I'd also suggest Bizarro and Metallo. On that note, I really, REALLY need to redo my favorite Superman Villains list: I looked at it again, and I don't feel I was honest about that one. I think, for some reason or another, I was focusing more on the power level the villains posed among my favorites, rather than focusing on my ACTUAL favorites. For instance, I'd rank Toyman higher than I initially did, although I'm not sure how high. I think my Top three or four would be the same, so maybe he'd be five or six.

Here's my pitch for a Superman trilogy, and the villains I would love to see in the movies: Superman The Man of Tomorrow - It would showcase Clark first days in Metropolis, as he witness all the crime in the city and creates his identity of Superman to protect people, while working as reporter of Daily Planet to expose the connection of the crimes with Lex Luthor. During the movie he would develop his relationship with Lois as well his strong friendship with Jimmy Olsen. The villain of the movie would be Parasite, who would be a former Lexcorp worker who suffers a scientific accident caused by Lex Luthor's arrogance. Now turned into a monster who needs to feed energy to survive, Parasite would go on revenge, attacking any source of energy in the city, putting innocents life at risk. In the end, Superman would be able to defeat Parasite and Lois would expose Luthor crimes, resulting in him being arrested. The movie ends with Lois discovering that Clark is Superman. Superman Legacy of Kripton - It would be a adaptation of Geoff John's Superman Brainiac, with the Man of Steel having to save the Earth from Brainiac, an A.I that travels across the universe desrtoying the planets he consider unevolved. It would also be revealed that Brainiac was created by Jor-El and was responsible for preventing the kriptonians from beliving in Jor El words, so he could escape from the planet destruction, leaving everyone else to die, making his rivalry with Superman much more personal. In the end, Superman defeats Brainiac, but the villain is able to cause a explosion that kills Superman ally, Dan Turpin, who sacrificed himself to save a civilians. Superman Warworld - It would have Superman, during a mission in space, getting stuck in Warworld and being capture by Mongul, who forces the last son of kripton to participate in his games. Meanwhile, in Metropolis, the Intergang, lead by Bruno Mannheim, takes advantage of Superman absence and starts take over Metropolis underworld, using weapons create with the stolen tecnology from Brainiac's ship . While Lois and Superman's friends try to deal with rise of the Intergang, Superman, with the help of Mongul champion, who reveals to be Clark lost cousin Kara, are able to inspire Monguls slave to rebel and defeat the tyrant, return to Earth in time for Superman to save his friends and defeats Mannheim. The movie ends with all the aliens returning to their respective planets, Kara deciding to stay on Earth, inspired by her cousin to become Supergirl and Clark propose to Lois.
I imagine Parasite would be an interesting villain in a live action movie. Superman would definitely have a tough time fighting a villain that can steal his powers just by grabbing hold of him.
I agree with you, it's way past time we saw any of the these villains in a movie, but I would also love to see villains like Eradicator, Bizarro, Mongul, Manchester Black, Metallo and maybe Bloodsport (yes we've seen him on film but not as the actual antagonist in a Superman movie)
Just imagine a Superman movie with Toyman and Parasite as co-villains. I would love to see them trying to work together for some reason. It would be so weird and awesome that you couldn't help but remember it vividly. It would have to be a saturated and fun movie though, it wouldn't work if it were dark, gritty, and serious.
Oh and I just thought that it would be cool if Brainiac captured Superman to add to his collection, and then Supergirl and a few other heroes had to save him.

The Eradicator ll - If you have read the comic this would be a great Man of Steel sequel. Who should never appear in a Superman film (as the main antagonist) 1. Darkseid - He is too powerful for Superman to handle alone and should only be in Big Superhero team up films. 2. The Anti-Monitor - Basically any "Big Bad" villain who has fought Superman should be left for Justice League.

It could be interesting if film series was made around Rivalry between Lex Luthor and Ultra Humanite, where they bet on which one of them can kill Superman. Lex makes metallo to fight superman in the first movie, then in second movie Ultra Humanite makes Parasite and to one up this, Lex Luthor creates Titano, ending in three way battle between Parasite, Titano and Superman. Third film would be Ultra humanite trying to clone superman, creating Bizzaro and Ultra humanite transfers his brain inside a gorilla. Fourth movie would be introduction of Brainiac. To counter him, Lex shoots "machguffin ray", which opens a gate to the Phantom zone, releasing all the prisoners, including Zodd, Lobo, Mongul, and other horrible being Kryptonias captured. Braniacs antics also destroy spaceship crew, resulting in the eventual creation of Cyborg Superman. Intergang appears as minor villaisn durign all this time, something Superman handles right at the beginning of the movies, but eventually they use Apocalypse tech to fight him There, idea for a movie series
Honestly I feel the same way. We've seen Lex Luthor and Zod too many times at this point. The only other villain we've seen is Doomsday. Unless you wanna count Superman 3 and 4 but we don't talk about those movies. Personally, I think Metallo is the best choice to be the main villain for when they inevitably reboot Superman.
I feel like a great toy man could incorporate all of the toy men iterations. So maybe have it start out more like a mystery, where kids are getting snatched and no one knows what's happening but it's mostly kids of the Lexcorp board. Then all of a sudden, some kids end up dead I stead of being taken. Of course Lex turns this into a media frenzy painting Winslow as a child killer. Finally Superman steps in and looks into the mystery. After fighting giant robots and things, he finally comes face to face with Winslow himself and realizes what Winslow was really trying to do. In reality Winslow worked for a subsidiary of Lexcorp, and saw them trying to do tests on kids, mostly vagrants, and they were testing hooking them up to computers or putting microchips in them, or what not, so, knowing lex would bury him if he tried to go public (because lex owns a lot of the media) he started taking these kids and made his own little sanctuary for them, where they could play with all the old toys he used to make for his toy shop. The reason kids died, was because he sent out a robot to snatch them for him, but something went haywire, and it went bad. Like everything else, he couldmt come out and say anything because he'd get found out by Lex, so he tried to stop it himself, and has so far failed to.this then sets up Lex as a future villain and how bad and how far his reach is throughout metropolis (which Superman wouldn't know yet in this movie). I feel like this would set up Winslow as the tragic yet misguided villain that he's supposed to be in who has good intentions
Good, but Toyman's robot killing the kids kinda makes it his fault. Wouldn't it be better if (cause we leave in a reality where there are child predators) Toyman goes around, killing adults that have "wrong" children and Superman sympathies but has to stop him cause Toyman is killing?
@@whaleping yes it is his fault, but that still doesn't mean he wants it to happen. He just feels he's all alone and has to handle It himself, especially when superman is unleashed on him. Toy man has always been all about kids, but even though he is Abit creepy in the way he does things, he's not actually a child predator. I just feel that this makes him a a "gritty" reboot while actually helping him stay true to his comic origins
It would be fun if someone took another look at Prankster. When you realize this is a guy who plays practical jokes on an alien god... Joker tells jokes to a guy in a Halloween costume.
I took the idea of the proposed Green Arrow SuperMAX movie, and had the idea that Toyman is basically the guy running things inside. He's a man that can get you things. So it would be him and some super powered 'goons' vs a lone vigilante (GA, Nightwing, Vigilante, etc)
I envisioned a soft-sequel to “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” with Mr. Mxyzptlk and Toyman as the main baddies with the story revolving around the ridiculous powers scene in “Superman II & IV” being explained and restoring Lois’s memory, or at least having confirmed that she remembers Clark is Superman and dealing with that fallout while Toyman’s toys and robots are powered up and enhanced with Mxyzptlk’s powers. Pretty much it would tie up loose ends and odd things from all four movies involving consequences for Superman turning back time in the first move and explaining the weird powers from II & IV and resolving the relationship between Clark and Lois finally getting them together. Which would be explored in potential future installments.
I completely agree with Toyman. Out of all of Superman's Rogues, he is the most similar to Clark with their kindness towards children. My favorite Toyman stories (that I vaguely remember cause it has been a long time) were when children were wronged and Toyman took drastic actions. He always comes off as a villain Superman holds back against cause of Toyman's (at times, cause this is comics) sympathetic motives.
Introduce Mannheim and Intergang and have them create some of the villains like Metallo and/or Parasite in order to battle Supes. Just an idea, John Corbin could be turned into Metallo kind of as a punishment for trying to take control of Intergang from Mannheim
Superman fighting Titano on the big screen would be dope. A gigantic gorilla who has kryptonite vision would be epic! The only hard part is how would you introduce him in the movie? Would he be one of Lex Luthor's experiments? I think I would make Titano a part of Cadmus and add Professor Hamilton in the mix. Cadmus could be conducting some secret experiments with Kyrptonite as they believe it may hold the cure for cancer so they decide to use it on a chimp first but the side effects of the experiment is the chimp grows to an extraordinary height and goes on a rampage. Cadmus can also be behind Metallo as well.
Fun Fact, Zack Snyder actually had plans to use Brainiac in a sequel to Man of Steel. Unfortunately, Warners Bros was scared of doing a sequel after the MOS mixed reviews.
I think that recent successful movies like No Way Home and Everything Everywhere All at Once show that today's audiences are willing to see bizarre universe-bending shenanigans in their action movies. The time could not be more ripe for Mxyzptlk to star in a movie. Just portray him as a chaos god that is a huge fan of Superman, and wants to create his perfect Superman scenario, exploring different takes on the character. Imagine a Superman movie that hops from one Superman style to another. From the Richard Donner movies to the Fleischer cartoons, to the original Joe Shuster, to Curt Swan.
What about a Superman movie where we think Mxyzpitlk is the main villain, but, surprise, it’s Parasite. To be clear, I am talking about Rudy Jones. Mxy starts by causing his usual amount of mayhem, including an accident that turns Rudy into Parasite. Now, Rudy, seeing the mess that Mxy caused, that he would be expected to clean up, and tired of being pushed around, loses it and absorbs Mxy’s powers. However, he can’t control it, and suddenly we see giant Teddy bears attacking buildings now made of cheesecake, and people turning into glass, pudding, dominoes, etc. As per Rudy himself, he’s now a purple, Godzilla-sized monster. Mxy knows that if he lets this continue, he’s going to get in trouble in his own dimension. So, reluctantly teams up with Superman to try to quell the rampaging Parasite.
That would be awesome and would fit a character like Mxyzpitlk, with him being just a trickster who only care about playing pranks on others rather than a bad guy with a evil plan. Another way it could work is if Mxy is the one who gives Rudy his powers and convice him to attack Superman, saying that he would be powerfull and nobody would ever push him around anymore. However, after seeing how Mxy is more powerfull than Superman, Parasite could betray him and become a even bigger threat, forcing Mxy, as you said, to team up with Superman. Also, in order to defeat Parasite, Mxy could be forced to reveal to Superman his weakness, that he returns to his dimesion if he says his name backwards (which ends all the magic that Mxy did), and Superman use this to defeat Parasite, making him return to be Rudy Jones.
I actually had an idea for a Superman movie. A brand new version of the Superman Revenge Squad consisting of Metallo, Parasite, Silver Banshee, Atomic Skull and Toy Man unite with a plan to finally kill Superman. Luthor would appear only in cameo and maybe a final confrontation in the Fortress of Solitude where Supes even goes up against Doomsday.
I can't quite tell if he was being sarcastic about Titano or not... not until he started talking about him being a "henchman" character. The post-Byrne reboot version of the poor chimp had him the victim of a science experiment in self-perpetuating energy resources by a scientist -- I forget his name, he was only in a few stories -- who later caused an accident that turned his colleague into a female Hulk-type character named Rampage. It opens up the possibilities of a movie where the storyline carries a message of humanity's capacity for inhumanity even while attempting to solve environmental issues. Or not.

Thinking about your video, it would've been cool if Superman III was to have Toyman as a villain along with Brainiac. I would've casted Richard Pryor as a portmanteau of Toyman and Prankster. He would basically be an overgrown kid with a penchant for toys and gimmicks. I see him as a disgruntled employee of toy manufacturing company who was unjustly fired and his ideas taken away from him. So he decides to target said company with deadly toys and corporate sabotage. I picture Brainiac being played by Christopher Walken or Chirstopher Lloyd. I haven't worked out how Toyman and Brainiac would team up or if they would.
Braniac would probably be used as a justice league villain. Also braniac was in an animated movie, and i believe a form of braniac was in the live action supergirl show. Also injustice 2 was so easy it might as well have been a movie instead of a game

I think they could have swapped out General Zod and Brainiac in Man of Steel fairly easily. They got have even used the stas rouge kryptonian AI backstory to keep the historical ties between him and Superman for the story.
One villain I can think of in a Superman movie is "the prankster" as he can team up with Toyman to poke fun at Superman until he sees that the pranks has become too lethal to be funny, although I also want "funnyface" as part of the team...

@@adamcroncheyshomevideos9209 I didn't mean rocksteady. I think you can juggle him with other main villains. Knight and city had like 3 main villains each. If you spread out luthor's story for 4 games there's more potential. game 1 is post crisis luthor ending in Planet Lexor. The whole game he had pushed Rudy Jones further and further as Parasite, and he wants him to have the power of a planet. The power rudy gets the less human he becomes, but like so much Clayface III, he needs to kill to survive. But I think in the end you protray him as a victim of Luthor. Game 2 sees him now publicly exposed and beong more like Silver Age luthor, random secret labs everywhere snd hiding out from Superman. By the end of the game he gets his criminal record erased in exchange for helping Superman against the other main villain, who would be Braniac I guess. Then in the 3rd game, you timeskip to the point where he's already president. He solved all the world's problems and appears apathetic and bored. Over the course of the game you realize he became the President only to have unprecedented acces to materials and research because he got cancer in game 2. The other villain could be Mongul perhaps, and maybe you can connect him to Skyhook where the black mercy sorta helps him turn people into demons or something. In game 4, he works for darkseid to get the power of a god which in turn would erase his cancer. He would usurp darkseid for a proper Superman/Luthor finale. As we saw with All-Star and JL Unlimited giving Luthor immense power and having him see the secrets of life always leads to cool stuff. That sounds like a bad idea?
I want to see Brainiac in a Superman movie but I know that would be a very difficult character to bring to the big screen and I don't want the character to be killed off at the end or just ruin him in the movie by nerfing his intlegince to try and make him work.
It''s honestly comical at this point how Brainiac keeps barely losing out on on-screen representation; Superman Lives, Superman Reborn, Superman Returns' Sequel and Man of Steel 2 all reportedly had Brainiac in them before they got scrapped, and Superman 3 originally was going to have Brainiac before it got cut in a rewrite of the script. A small part of me wants to keep the trend going and just never get him on the big-screen just because of how funny it is, but nah, hopefully we get him in either the upcoming movie or its inevitable sequel. As for my top five, it's probably Brainiac, Maxima, Metallo, Parasite and Mxy, with Livewire, Mongul, Ultra-Humanite, Bizarro and Toyman as honourable mentions. I'll also throw in the Female Furies too, because while I personally don't see the Apokoliptians as Superman villains a lot of people do, and I'd love for the Furies to get some proper representation as actual characters beyond just "That group of badass warrior women ran by Granny Goodness that Big Barda defected from".

Brainiac really would make for a fantastic movie. I can't see why they have not used the guy already. However I think that the entire story about Volcana could be easily adapted into a good movie as well.

I really want to the Superman Revenge Squad in a film. Luthor just throws five villains at Sups, wrecking Metropolis, and at the end he did it all so he could get publicity for rebuilding the city while making Sups look reckless.
I think Mxysptlk would make for a great villain. I love that he’s someone Supes can’t just punch. Like in a movie if Superman has never faced a proper threat before, Mxy is great since while his power is enormous, he generally just want to entertain himself. Alternatively he works great as a later villain where in to prove his power there could be a scene where he’s choosing what villain to throw at Superman. He’s rummaging through his pockets pulling out Zod, Parasite, and Doomsday. Then when he has Doomsday out, Doomsday roars at him only for Myx to slap him like a mildly annoyed mother and say “stop it” before stuffing back in his pocket which would be both funny, and very intimidating.
I don’t really want to see Brainiac. I know he hasn’t been in a movie and he’s a big time villain and all, but he’s used so much in other media that I’m just so tired of seeing him (Injustice 2, Lego Batman 3, JLU, Suicide squad: kill the Justice league, etc.)

Honestly would be cool to see Atlas show up. While he isn’t as iconic as some other Superman villains, they did a lot of good stuff with him and I feel like he has a design that wouldn’t turn into a CGI abomination. Also, I do remember that when they used Atlas as a Superman villain in the late 2000s they took some inspiration from his Teen Titans 03 “counterpart” (they are VERY LOOSELY connected) and his arrogant yet brute nature would fit well for the screen.
Titano would be cool to see, I agree, but I think the ones I'm most excited about that you mentioned are Toyman, Parasite, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and of course Brainiac, who frankly I'm APPALLED hasn't gotten a movie yet. I'd also suggest Bizarro and Metallo.
On that note, I really, REALLY need to redo my favorite Superman Villains list: I looked at it again, and I don't feel I was honest about that one. I think, for some reason or another, I was focusing more on the power level the villains posed among my favorites, rather than focusing on my ACTUAL favorites. For instance, I'd rank Toyman higher than I initially did, although I'm not sure how high. I think my Top three or four would be the same, so maybe he'd be five or six.

Here's my pitch for a Superman trilogy, and the villains I would love to see in the movies:
Superman The Man of Tomorrow - It would showcase Clark first days in Metropolis, as he witness all the crime in the city and creates his identity of Superman to protect people, while working as reporter of Daily Planet to expose the connection of the crimes with Lex Luthor. During the movie he would develop his relationship with Lois as well his strong friendship with Jimmy Olsen. The villain of the movie would be Parasite, who would be a former Lexcorp worker who suffers a scientific accident caused by Lex Luthor's arrogance. Now turned into a monster who needs to feed energy to survive, Parasite would go on revenge, attacking any source of energy in the city, putting innocents life at risk. In the end, Superman would be able to defeat Parasite and Lois would expose Luthor crimes, resulting in him being arrested. The movie ends with Lois discovering that Clark is Superman.
Superman Legacy of Kripton - It would be a adaptation of Geoff John's Superman Brainiac, with the Man of Steel having to save the Earth from Brainiac, an A.I that travels across the universe desrtoying the planets he consider unevolved. It would also be revealed that Brainiac was created by Jor-El and was responsible for preventing the kriptonians from beliving in Jor El words, so he could escape from the planet destruction, leaving everyone else to die, making his rivalry with Superman much more personal. In the end, Superman defeats Brainiac, but the villain is able to cause a explosion that kills Superman ally, Dan Turpin, who sacrificed himself to save a civilians.
Superman Warworld - It would have Superman, during a mission in space, getting stuck in Warworld and being capture by Mongul, who forces the last son of kripton to participate in his games. Meanwhile, in Metropolis, the Intergang, lead by Bruno Mannheim, takes advantage of Superman absence and starts take over Metropolis underworld, using weapons create with the stolen tecnology from Brainiac's ship . While Lois and Superman's friends try to deal with rise of the Intergang, Superman, with the help of Mongul champion, who reveals to be Clark lost cousin Kara, are able to inspire Monguls slave to rebel and defeat the tyrant, return to Earth in time for Superman to save his friends and defeats Mannheim. The movie ends with all the aliens returning to their respective planets, Kara deciding to stay on Earth, inspired by her cousin to become Supergirl and Clark propose to Lois.

Just imagine a Superman movie with Toyman and Parasite as co-villains. I would love to see them trying to work together for some reason. It would be so weird and awesome that you couldn't help but remember it vividly. It would have to be a saturated and fun movie though, it wouldn't work if it were dark, gritty, and serious.

It could be interesting if film series was made around Rivalry between Lex Luthor and Ultra Humanite, where they bet on which one of them can kill Superman. Lex makes metallo to fight superman in the first movie, then in second movie Ultra Humanite makes Parasite and to one up this, Lex Luthor creates Titano, ending in three way battle between Parasite, Titano and Superman. Third film would be Ultra humanite trying to clone superman, creating Bizzaro and Ultra humanite transfers his brain inside a gorilla. Fourth movie would be introduction of Brainiac. To counter him, Lex shoots "machguffin ray", which opens a gate to the Phantom zone, releasing all the prisoners, including Zodd, Lobo, Mongul, and other horrible being Kryptonias captured. Braniacs antics also destroy spaceship crew, resulting in the eventual creation of Cyborg Superman. Intergang appears as minor villaisn durign all this time, something Superman handles right at the beginning of the movies, but eventually they use Apocalypse tech to fight him

Honestly I feel the same way. We've seen Lex Luthor and Zod too many times at this point. The only other villain we've seen is Doomsday. Unless you wanna count Superman 3 and 4 but we don't talk about those movies. Personally, I think Metallo is the best choice to be the main villain for when they inevitably reboot Superman.

I feel like a great toy man could incorporate all of the toy men iterations. So maybe have it start out more like a mystery, where kids are getting snatched and no one knows what's happening but it's mostly kids of the Lexcorp board. Then all of a sudden, some kids end up dead I stead of being taken. Of course Lex turns this into a media frenzy painting Winslow as a child killer. Finally Superman steps in and looks into the mystery. After fighting giant robots and things, he finally comes face to face with Winslow himself and realizes what Winslow was really trying to do. In reality Winslow worked for a subsidiary of Lexcorp, and saw them trying to do tests on kids, mostly vagrants, and they were testing hooking them up to computers or putting microchips in them, or what not, so, knowing lex would bury him if he tried to go public (because lex owns a lot of the media) he started taking these kids and made his own little sanctuary for them, where they could play with all the old toys he used to make for his toy shop. The reason kids died, was because he sent out a robot to snatch them for him, but something went haywire, and it went bad. Like everything else, he couldmt come out and say anything because he'd get found out by Lex, so he tried to stop it himself, and has so far failed to.this then sets up Lex as a future villain and how bad and how far his reach is throughout metropolis (which Superman wouldn't know yet in this movie). I feel like this would set up Winslow as the tragic yet misguided villain that he's supposed to be in who has good intentions
Good, but Toyman's robot killing the kids kinda makes it his fault. Wouldn't it be better if (cause we leave in a reality where there are child predators) Toyman goes around, killing adults that have "wrong" children and Superman sympathies but has to stop him cause Toyman is killing?
@@whaleping yes it is his fault, but that still doesn't mean he wants it to happen. He just feels he's all alone and has to handle It himself, especially when superman is unleashed on him. Toy man has always been all about kids, but even though he is Abit creepy in the way he does things, he's not actually a child predator. I just feel that this makes him a a "gritty" reboot while actually helping him stay true to his comic origins

I took the idea of the proposed Green Arrow SuperMAX movie, and had the idea that Toyman is basically the guy running things inside. He's a man that can get you things. So it would be him and some super powered 'goons' vs a lone vigilante (GA, Nightwing, Vigilante, etc)
I envisioned a soft-sequel to “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” with Mr. Mxyzptlk and Toyman as the main baddies with the story revolving around the ridiculous powers scene in “Superman II & IV” being explained and restoring Lois’s memory, or at least having confirmed that she remembers Clark is Superman and dealing with that fallout while Toyman’s toys and robots are powered up and enhanced with Mxyzptlk’s powers. Pretty much it would tie up loose ends and odd things from all four movies involving consequences for Superman turning back time in the first move and explaining the weird powers from II & IV and resolving the relationship between Clark and Lois finally getting them together. Which would be explored in potential future installments.

I completely agree with Toyman. Out of all of Superman's Rogues, he is the most similar to Clark with their kindness towards children. My favorite Toyman stories (that I vaguely remember cause it has been a long time) were when children were wronged and Toyman took drastic actions. He always comes off as a villain Superman holds back against cause of Toyman's (at times, cause this is comics) sympathetic motives.
Brainiac, Metallo, and Parasite is what I wanted see in live action movies and this time done right because CW Supergirl screw them up.
Introduce Mannheim and Intergang and have them create some of the villains like Metallo and/or Parasite in order to battle Supes. Just an idea, John Corbin could be turned into Metallo kind of as a punishment for trying to take control of Intergang from Mannheim
Superman fighting Titano on the big screen would be dope. A gigantic gorilla who has kryptonite vision would be epic! The only hard part is how would you introduce him in the movie? Would he be one of Lex Luthor's experiments? I think I would make Titano a part of Cadmus and add Professor Hamilton in the mix. Cadmus could be conducting some secret experiments with Kyrptonite as they believe it may hold the cure for cancer so they decide to use it on a chimp first but the side effects of the experiment is the chimp grows to an extraordinary height and goes on a rampage. Cadmus can also be behind Metallo as well.
Fun Fact, Zack Snyder actually had plans to use Brainiac in a sequel to Man of Steel. Unfortunately, Warners Bros was scared of doing a sequel after the MOS mixed reviews.

I think that recent successful movies like No Way Home and Everything Everywhere All at Once show that today's audiences are willing to see bizarre universe-bending shenanigans in their action movies. The time could not be more ripe for Mxyzptlk to star in a movie. Just portray him as a chaos god that is a huge fan of Superman, and wants to create his perfect Superman scenario, exploring different takes on the character. Imagine a Superman movie that hops from one Superman style to another. From the Richard Donner movies to the Fleischer cartoons, to the original Joe Shuster, to Curt Swan.
What about a Superman movie where we think Mxyzpitlk is the main villain, but, surprise, it’s Parasite. To be clear, I am talking about Rudy Jones. Mxy starts by causing his usual amount of mayhem, including an accident that turns Rudy into Parasite. Now, Rudy, seeing the mess that Mxy caused, that he would be expected to clean up, and tired of being pushed around, loses it and absorbs Mxy’s powers. However, he can’t control it, and suddenly we see giant Teddy bears attacking buildings now made of cheesecake, and people turning into glass, pudding, dominoes, etc. As per Rudy himself, he’s now a purple, Godzilla-sized monster. Mxy knows that if he lets this continue, he’s going to get in trouble in his own dimension. So, reluctantly teams up with Superman to try to quell the rampaging Parasite.
That would be awesome and would fit a character like Mxyzpitlk, with him being just a trickster who only care about playing pranks on others rather than a bad guy with a evil plan. Another way it could work is if Mxy is the one who gives Rudy his powers and convice him to attack Superman, saying that he would be powerfull and nobody would ever push him around anymore. However, after seeing how Mxy is more powerfull than Superman, Parasite could betray him and become a even bigger threat, forcing Mxy, as you said, to team up with Superman. Also, in order to defeat Parasite, Mxy could be forced to reveal to Superman his weakness, that he returns to his dimesion if he says his name backwards (which ends all the magic that Mxy did), and Superman use this to defeat Parasite, making him return to be Rudy Jones.
I actually had an idea for a Superman movie. A brand new version of the Superman Revenge Squad consisting of Metallo, Parasite, Silver Banshee, Atomic Skull and Toy Man unite with a plan to finally kill Superman. Luthor would appear only in cameo and maybe a final confrontation in the Fortress of Solitude where Supes even goes up against Doomsday.

I can't quite tell if he was being sarcastic about Titano or not... not until he started talking about him being a "henchman" character. The post-Byrne reboot version of the poor chimp had him the victim of a science experiment in self-perpetuating energy resources by a scientist -- I forget his name, he was only in a few stories -- who later caused an accident that turned his colleague into a female Hulk-type character named Rampage. It opens up the possibilities of a movie where the storyline carries a message of humanity's capacity for inhumanity even while attempting to solve environmental issues. Or not.

Thinking about your video, it would've been cool if Superman III was to have Toyman as a villain along with Brainiac. I would've casted Richard Pryor as a portmanteau of Toyman and Prankster. He would basically be an overgrown kid with a penchant for toys and gimmicks. I see him as a disgruntled employee of toy manufacturing company who was unjustly fired and his ideas taken away from him. So he decides to target said company with deadly toys and corporate sabotage.
I picture Brainiac being played by Christopher Walken or Chirstopher Lloyd. I haven't worked out how Toyman and Brainiac would team up or if they would.
Braniac would probably be used as a justice league villain. Also braniac was in an animated movie, and i believe a form of braniac was in the live action supergirl show. Also injustice 2 was so easy it might as well have been a movie instead of a game

I think they could have swapped out General Zod and Brainiac in Man of Steel fairly easily. They got have even used the stas rouge kryptonian AI backstory to keep the historical ties between him and Superman for the story.

@@adamcroncheyshomevideos9209 I didn't mean rocksteady. I think you can juggle him with other main villains. Knight and city had like 3 main villains each. If you spread out luthor's story for 4 games there's more potential. game 1 is post crisis luthor ending in Planet Lexor. The whole game he had pushed Rudy Jones further and further as Parasite, and he wants him to have the power of a planet. The power rudy gets the less human he becomes, but like so much Clayface III, he needs to kill to survive. But I think in the end you protray him as a victim of Luthor. Game 2 sees him now publicly exposed and beong more like Silver Age luthor, random secret labs everywhere snd hiding out from Superman. By the end of the game he gets his criminal record erased in exchange for helping Superman against the other main villain, who would be Braniac I guess. Then in the 3rd game, you timeskip to the point where he's already president. He solved all the world's problems and appears apathetic and bored. Over the course of the game you realize he became the President only to have unprecedented acces to materials and research because he got cancer in game 2. The other villain could be Mongul perhaps, and maybe you can connect him to Skyhook where the black mercy sorta helps him turn people into demons or something. In game 4, he works for darkseid to get the power of a god which in turn would erase his cancer. He would usurp darkseid for a proper Superman/Luthor finale. As we saw with All-Star and JL Unlimited giving Luthor immense power and having him see the secrets of life always leads to cool stuff.

Honestly Brainiac should have been the villain in Man of Steel, not Zod again.
It''s honestly comical at this point how Brainiac keeps barely losing out on on-screen representation; Superman Lives, Superman Reborn, Superman Returns' Sequel and Man of Steel 2 all reportedly had Brainiac in them before they got scrapped, and Superman 3 originally was going to have Brainiac before it got cut in a rewrite of the script. A small part of me wants to keep the trend going and just never get him on the big-screen just because of how funny it is, but nah, hopefully we get him in either the upcoming movie or its inevitable sequel.
As for my top five, it's probably Brainiac, Maxima, Metallo, Parasite and Mxy, with Livewire, Mongul, Ultra-Humanite, Bizarro and Toyman as honourable mentions. I'll also throw in the Female Furies too, because while I personally don't see the Apokoliptians as Superman villains a lot of people do, and I'd love for the Furies to get some proper representation as actual characters beyond just "That group of badass warrior women ran by Granny Goodness that Big Barda defected from".
