    As someone who had subscription to "Murzilka" magazine for a year (when I was 6), I must say that it's not just the name of the magazine, but also a personage (yellow fluffy guy in red scarf and a hat). Murzilka actively participates in stories published in this magazine. He belongs to the group of personages "Vesyolyye kartinki" ("Funny cartoons"), to which Neznayka belongs too. There was also a magazine called "Vesyolyye kartinki". I think this one was for pre-school kids, while "Murzilka" was for very junior schoolers (or vice versa).
