Some other things to consider about these machines. The actual machine is the cheap part. You will spend a small fortune on vinyl, mats, tools and accessories. The cricuit best suited for retired people or stay at home parents who are very computer savvy and have a background in a print shop. These machines are very complex and must log in many hours of tutorials. I bought a cricuit to make T shirts for my business thinking I could save money. I was very wrong. If you are running a business you will not have time to master this machine and run your business at same time. It is cheaper to hire a print shop. Trust me. Do not make my mistake. Don't get me wrong this can be a great machines with many benefits however it will consume your life and you will find yourself watching hrs upon hrs of vids like this. Great video BTW. Good advice
Tanner I watched this thinking there might be a hack I have missed over time but it is so true, if I had your membership when I first got a cricut back in the day I would have saved so much money, time and frustration!
I bought the first explore used. Not a fan. I have made more with my maker than I ever did with my explore. And after a short time on the design space app on my iPad and I know what I can and cannot do with it. For complicated files, I use my iMac. I have the fine cut blade, deep cut blade, the rotary cutter, the engraving tip, the de bossing tip and quick swap housing, and the cricut knife. I have 2 12x12 green standard mats, a 12 x24 green mat, 2 light grip mats, 1 fabric mat. I’m set to do anything.
This video was extremely helpful, and I had been learning towards the Cricut Maker. It seems the machine is just as capable as the Maker 3 and contrary to the website the tips are compatible to the Maker. So what is the upside to the newest machine besides being able to print a larger size decal?
I made a great shirt for my grandson First birthday and when his mum washed it it all come off I used the settings In design space so not sure what happened
I have a cricut maker that does not cut vinyl. I have tried old and new mats and new blade. I am thinking of buying a new machine. I am just wondering what next to do and any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you
