      and you "know" this because you are a cop? You do realize that police deal with the worst people of society on a minute by minute basis, right? no one calls police to hang out at a party or wish someone good luck.

      @@TheOnlySaneAmerican yea but when they get a call from a noise complaint and show up and it’s a bunch of harmless kids playing basketball id say this cop handled this situation flawlessly.

    this was definitely the best thing... there's so little publicity about the good things officers do. Kudos to this officer for realizing this was kids being good kids... and having the spirit to join in the fun!
    Look how many kids came out to join them... some new friends were had in that neighborhood that day... making it a better place to live...

    Reminds me of how the police behave at the Notting Hill Carnival in London. THey show their fun side and people relate to them as fellow Londoners. Great video and love the follow up. That's how to police the community, learn the kid's names and be a good role model and you'll get respect. Roll up on people and draw your weapon and you make yourself an enemy.

      @FoolMeOnce50 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Not every community is privy to having a playground with hoops in it. The thing is being constructive and not destructive with their time. It shouldn't hurt any "decent" person or "human being" in the least for these kids to play ball on their goal(on their street!) if they're behaving. That rule everything mentality is just a shitty look man.

    2 things I would like to comment on.
    1/ Officer white was cool in the way he handled it right from the start by asking the kids "can you believe someone called the cops because kids were playing basketball"?
    2/ I know when he dunked the ball the hoop wasn't regulation heigth, but he did pretty good for having at least 20 lbs. of gear on him.
