A mini tip I have (because im a beginner at the instax mini 11) is when you take a photo and it comes out blurry or bad, instead of throwing it away, keep it and right down at the bottom how you messed up and how to fix it. for example: too blurry, don't shake hands or have subject move right after. stuff like that :)
I just got one today, for my 2 yrs anniversary from my boyfriend in lavender color and I love it. For a tip, to save some money, it's cheaper if you buy the films in a bundle. It may seem scary to open the selfie mode, I was scared at first bc I thought I would break it, but it's okay I swear. It makes incredibly cool pictures, I love the aestetic of it. For the little cristal button I will definitely use fake nail glue on it to make it stay because the little button is not just cute but also makes it easier to push and make the photo.
I bought it online and received it about an hour ago by mail. I have it in charcoal grey and also bought the case for it in the same colour. I found your video very helpful since at first, when I received it, I was a little scared about how to use it but now I am more confident. Don't do this! The automatic exposure is expecting the flash to go off. If you seal it off the picture is most likely gonna be underexposed i.e. very dark. If you don't want the flash there are other cameras that are better suited for you!

I upgraded my white instax mini 9 with the pink instax 11 and I love it! I had no issues regarding the jewel; it doesn't fall off if you stick it properly.
I do have 1 tip, I just got my Instax Mini 11, so I haven't really had the chance to take too many photos, but from the few I have taken, I've learned that although yes the main colors should be visable within a minute and a half, often it can take longer than that for more details. At least thats what it looks like to me. I could 100% be wrong, but i suggest before throwing out a photo that looked "bad" keep it for a couple hours until its 100% done. Often times in my opinion it looks a ton better and more finished. Again could just be my eyes playing tricks on me, but that is what i saw and noticed

Its so nice to look back and remember how we choose to fight and be happy in life. Instax camera will always have special place in my heart. My sister's friends brought one of these for her bachelorette party and asked me to take photos. I had such a blast with it that I had to get one myself! I just bought a used mini 11 that I can use with my students. I had no clue how to use it other than I'd heard it was super easy. Way back in the 80s I had a Polaroid (that's where the shaking the film happened) so I figured it wouldn't be too different. I watched your video and learned a lot. I feel much more confident. This camera has caused me so much struggle. I used the mini 9 until this year and have taken a polaroid every day since 2017 and suddenly with this one ALL of my photos are overexposed and kind of out of focus. All of the reviews say its better at bright light but its really worse I've wasted so much film trying to get it to work. I feel so frustrated I returned the mini 11 I had due to how my experiences contradicted reviews and got a new one but still had the same problems
Yes!!!! I had this same problem! I was able to take SO MANY better photos with my older Instax minis. I wasted almost a whole carton of film because I didn't know why the mini 11 just kept turning all of my photos white and SUPER overexposed. Almost $10 worth of film ruined already... 😫
exactly this camera is really bad for outdoor shooting, every picture comes out dark. You cant even take mirror shots cus the flash overexposes the pictures, if anyone reads this dont buy it if you want to take pictures outside or in dark places.

Well I think mine is damaged 🙁 I followed all the steps, but when I take the photo the flash light just doesn't stop turning on and off..Man I was so excited to take my photos

If you have a case make sure you put the shutter covers after you put the shutter covers on (the glow in the dark and gems are what I call shutter covers)

To have some natural light u can just cover the flash with something like your finger or some sort of tape if that helps anyone

Well I think mine is damaged 🙁 I followed all the steps, but when I take the photo the flash light just doesn't stop turning on and off..Man I was so excited to take my photos

I'm unpacking mine which is the soft violet color. This was a Christmas gift from my very awesome aunt and I know that exposing the film can ruin it which freaked me out so here I am! I'm an amateur photographer who have been told I'm very talented and I almost went to film school! I'm in college now getting a degree in Public Communications and am just a woman who loves taking abstract photos xoxo

If you have a case make sure you put the shutter covers after you put the shutter covers on (the glow in the dark and gems are what I call shutter covers)
I received it as a gift, and I have some questions:
1- how many days a film can be into the camera without be use?
2-the black Polaroid that come first, where do I put? (Like is there a special place I can throw it)
3- how can preserve the pictures without an album, like can I can put simply in box with other objects or it too dangerous because of the chemical?
4- do you have any tips for a great picture taken during a sunny day?

I just got gifted this camera, I'm so inlove, I love to take photos, and we do loads of photos with my friends, we had sm fun today. They bought 20 films (the same ones u got basically) and while trying to use good the camera and all that, now I'm home with only the last film left 🤣. This camera is lots of fun, I absolutely love it. Your video helped me a lot, to have some tips and all ( I didn't know shaking was a myth lol ). 10/10, great vide. Have a nice day/night and enjoy!
I bought this lovely camera to take photos for my diary ;) the only thing i would change is the film,it would be nice to be able to choose the style and not wait for one to end then place the other, since there are so many styles. Have you tried putting selfie mode on?
@@brialeah8214 I think it's only good for selfies and close objects, but I guess there's not really a way to regulate the light that comes in in normal photos

What does it mean when you have orange light, I cannot make photo’s :( I tried everything
It’s the same with me. Though I took the picture without the orange light turning to green.
An orange light means the camera is on. If you cannot take a photo, maybe you don’t have the instax film in.
