- S in number block means there is a plastic sheet
- If all exposure keys are blinking-> ur batteries r dead
- DO NOT PULL POLAROID PIC WAIT

- Do not shake photo, messes with chemicals
- Keep in DARK area!!

@@Kavz. no shit sherlock it is a polaroid camera?? instax is js a name brand of the camera
tHhhaankkkk yououuuuu u are a lifeeesaveerrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking of how to remember it all but u just helped me a lotttt
I was just about to take mirror selfies. Thank you for the tips girl. This was very helpful and informative 😀
this is such a helpful video!! it’s like an ultimate instax mini guide because you discussed all the important points really well, especially framing & exposure. thank you for this!! :)
It’s funny how you do a bad photo but you still hang it up but this help was the best thank you so much for telling us facts because I didn’t know half of them
Thanks for this cause literally I've been searching for this polaride guide and all other people were " yeah pur batteries and click and all but none of them showed the really "how to take" pictures" like the environment influence and distance influence but u did and showed variety of pictures. Thanks to you that now I will be able to click beautiful pictures ❤️
this is literally so helpful thank you so much; you got me missing summer, the best photos i take w my instax are usually during summer
thank you for this! for the reflective surfaces, I recently learned that it's because light travels so fast that the flash will hit the surface, bounce back and hits the light sensor, which makes it think that there's a lot of light, so it uses a faster shutter speed. it's worth experimenting by trying to cover the light sensor.
thanks for filming this it really helped 💕😊 I see that your are consistent in posting videos and they are very well done, you are super underrated.
Hello beautiful!! I threw away my manual when I got mine and this helped so much! I hop the best for you’re channel! Never drop your crown queen ✨😌🤚🏽

Omg thanks I'm going to get a Polaroid Camera soon and this helped me alot so I'll try to follow these things and get a good picture :)
@@melodydawnmiller It really helped, I got the camera and its amazing! Thank you
what setting would you recommend when outside on a sunny day? i also heard to cover the flash on really sunny days because it can make the picture white. what would your recommend?
It’s not a Polaroid because it is made by fujifilm but it is an instant camera and this video is really helpful so thank you
Thank you!! This was really helpful!
Actually it came to my mind out of no where to try and save for one of those cameras and i've spent the last 4 hours searching and watching reviews,
And i guess that this version is better than the 11 version in its exposure
I love the she put her photos on the wall
Very insightful
Thank you so much
Nice tips with the exemples to enjoy our little insta mini
This is epic
"current sub count: 160"
You are so capturing every moment.
Most helpful video ever
@@melodydawnmiller and that’s exactly how it is yay I’m thinking about getting one so I’ve been watching videos about it and yours is the best so tysm like really
hi. please i want to take a picture of the screen of my labtop but i don't know what better setting and should i turn off the light of the room while i took a photo because the photo is completely white
I got out my camera and took a mirror pic with the last film and wondered why it was so dark, I just assumed that the film had expired since its been years since I've used it but lucky I decided to search up some tips just in case ahahah
Thank you for the video and especially for showing all the examples! Seems like it is not that easy to always get a good photo. I wonder if I still should buy it for a wedding.. the film is also very expensive and it would be only me so far who knows how to change it.
i love the results of having printed photos but it definitely depends on how much you’d enjoy having the film after! i think it makes for a fun memory!
@@melodydawnmiller Totally agree! And fun fact: I bought a second hand instax yesterday :D
What do you recommend for concert settings?
hi umm so when i take a picture and the picture cones out it doesnt show anything except white and i do take out the instax cards but it doesnt reach light
just got my fujifilm mini 9 yesterday. as a photography major in college, using this camera is challenging, so not what im used to, but your video gave me some tips i found really helpful, especially about the mirror and group selfie thing. i really appreciate it, thx!!!
Hey Mel, i got mine almost a year ago and the first roll of film was amazing! But with the second roll of film the first few pictures were amazing, the next shots however were bluish and then yesterday i took a sunset picture and it was totally black! Has this happened to you before? Is it a film issue? I tried everything they said online and my shutter and lighting setting dial seems to be fine 😭
hmm, yeah i’d assume that’s the film being bad - i haven’t ever had that issue before :(
Commenting after 1 year...just to remind you to not stop making videos...
The photo in 14:37 what mood it is house or cloud or sun like what options it is on camera?
can you give me tips on how to center subjects 😢 I can never get my subjects in the middle
if this is too specific im sorry but i really want to take photos like the 1989 polaroid photos of taylor swift 😅 could you give any advice of how much light is let in/any way to recreate them/filters judging by the photos?
be in a room with the light on - not tons of sunshine but also not dark, main thing will be being against the white wall. I’d use the house setting. it won’t come out just like hers because hers was probably edited and taken by a different camera but that may be close n
wow you are awesome
now you motivated me to buy instax to take pix at the pyramids
thank you so much
thankyou so much for sharing so much knowledge about this camera but i have one question that can we take photo landscape??
Hello, this is the first time I see you and I loved you💕💕
Btw I have a question if I took a picture but I didn’t like it and I don’t want it to be printed, what should I do?
if you’ve taken a picture it will automatically print, no way to stop it, sorry!
u have the light keep go
ty for this ! i’ve had a question that feels stupid to ask for so long but where do u look at to take the pictures ? should u look into the selfie mirror always or the lens ?
@@melodydawnmiller tysm for responding quick 😭 i feel dumb i’ve been doing them so wrong ty!!! ur so cute btw
thanks that’s really helpful 🥹💋
My pictures always end up dark and I’m not sure why… I always use the house setting when I’m taking pictures in dark settings (usually I do that) so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong…
hmm, try using hi-key. sometime though photos just are dark no matter what you try. it happens to me too
The back of my camera is broken how do I get it fixed
omgg you remind me of that girl in the lorax,, I forgot her name whoops 😶 haha thank you for the tips tho!!
I pressed tge circle that takes tge photo but theres nothing in the pic its just white please notice me
Thank you but could you explaine about the red light are we supposed to click when the red light is blinking? Or when its off??
My camera doesn’t change the lens when I change the modes ? I’d my camera broken or something you mentioned about it in 4:04
hmmm, yeah it definitely seems that it’d be broken. there also are newer models where you don’t manually change the lens. but if it’s not changing the lens, make sure it’s turned on and the lens it’s popped out
Hi, I'm interested in purchasing either the Instax Mini 11 or 12. I'm not a professional photographer; I just want the camera to capture moments. However, I'm unsure about which one to buy. I'd like to know which of these cameras takes better pictures and if there's a significant difference in picture quality ?
great question! i actually don’t have the mini 12 or know about new features of the mini 12 so i am not the person to ask for this. I hope you can find out!
What if you have not used it and a while and I just got index for it and turned it on and it’s not taking pics or the light is not coming on😢
How do I fix the back of my camera
Hi I hope you can help me. The camera I bought is used for my kid. It is a fuji instax 7. It won't give pictures. The film is white.. The previous owner said it should be working good.
hmm i wouldn’t know about the instax 7. that’s a pretty old model. just make sure the film is good
Remember me when you have a million followers
having shooting the high tech full frame A7III, i suddenly have trouble getting proper exposure on this camera 😂😂. quite embarrasing. its always underexposed. plus i have trouble turning it on the first time since the on button is in the position of the lens release button of an interexchangeable lens camera
whenever I take a picture, it always ends up becoming black/blank? how do I fix this?
Hi! What effect is best for sunset photos?❤
i would say the cloud setting, but it’s hard to capture sunsets sometimes
Oh my god don't even try to take a sunset photo! I took two yesterday and it was totally black even though i used the cloud setting once and the indoor setting (indoor setting is supposed to let in more light, still it was totally black)
aw bummer :(( - also make sure your finger isn’t covering it because the look piece isn’t where the photo is taken
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful knowledge to a 63 year old, old lady. Your are an awesome teacher young lady!!
