I know I’m odd, but I really like these non violent games. This one can even help kids understand that although someone is snarky and rude, continuing to be helpful and giving may net you a friend in the long run.
Just a thought, if you carried an empty storage box with you, then placed it down on the island you're visiting and used it to access your home island storage - putting away items as you salvage...then as long as it is empty you should be able to pick it up and take it with you as you leave. If this works then you basically can salvage all you want on any one trip.

Another really fun video. It would be interesting to see of the boat storage does link to all other chests/storage in the world. If it does then it would serve more like a depository where as you adventure, you could organise and put away all your salvaging on the go. That would be super handy.
Hi I think that the yellow berries are used to talk with the cat statues and the blue berries are used to counteract the yellow berries when done talking with the statues, enjoying the play through.
pokee would be the best option for the clothing store so far - tourists are going to be very unhappy with trevor as he’s going to do a poor job. i believe it tells you in your journal who wants to work where? i definitely know that pokee likes working at the clothing store and sammi is best for the cafe.
I forget where I found the golden cup, but I did find it at some point in these vids, maybe someone else will remember. THe hardwood is not needed for the museum, but you need the cutter inside the furniture store to make hardwood planks, they are not made using hardwood, rather they are upgraded from softwood planks using resin.
It has elements that are a bit like it, such as building up the town, but this game is more about running a tourist island and making it successful whereas sandrock was more about helping an existing town get back in it's feet. There also don't seem to be any romance options or character stories in this game and I expect it will be shorter.
Wouldn’t you be able to sell things that you’ve made for more money than things that you have found? Like cooking the veggies or the berries or process the item in someway to make more money? Grill the fish I think they are worth three times what a raw fish is worth.

Can the beginner boat change gears to go faster, or do you need to upgrade for that?
There seems to be 5 gears, but the top gear only goes up to 20. I wonder if there might be an upgrade later to get a bigger/better engine.

Honestly, the tourist money seems to be the best, it far outstrips anything I make at this point and I don't really have to do anything for it.
