I love that in the distance you can hear someone calling back!
More communal than in English Speaking Countries.
Beautiful!
I love the song you play on the bukkehorn! I think the bukkehorn is one of my favourite musical instruments (together with cello and Armenian duduk)
Thank you for your message, I never heard the Armenian duduk before until now, I wonder if I can learn to play one?
Drømmemusikk fra en drømmekvinne! :-) Jeg kunne høre på dette i flere timer, ikke bare 2'46".
Mange takk! Leve musikken, leve Norge! :-*
Such a talented woman!
It's just magnificently!!!
How are bukkehorns tuned? I can’t find anything online about what tuning system(s) were traditionally used. This sounds about like a modern 12TET minor scale. I’ve heard some wilder ones that sound almost eastern sounding too. I’m assuming there were traditionally many different tunings employed?
They weren’t used together with other instruments, so the tuning wasn’t as important. People would just drill holes so it sounded about right to them
Its so charming♥️
Nice vocal and horn.
I've been trying to learn how to make a mouthpiece for one of these correctly. Does anyone have a link?
Do they do this in Hedmark?
Great playing! You woke my ancestors! 😊🏆
Hey there Sissel, this is so beatiful. May I have permission to play it on my podcast with a Swedish guest on Viking blacksmithing?
it's ok to play your music on my podcast? I will give you credit.
Of course! My pleasure😊
Thank you so much. If not for the blacksmithing episode, I am doing a series with Scandinavian guests on history and culture, etc, so it will work for that too. I will of course give you credit and a shout out and attach links to the videos. Until then, the podcast is called Our Numinous Nature@@SisselMorkenGullord

Awesome 💖💖
Красота
Is this kulning?! I'm here from Jonna Jinton's channel!
In Norway we call it hujing. It is similar to the Swedish kulning, a highpitched way of "singing"/calling to connect with others far away
@@SisselMorkenGullord Thank you for replying, I think hujing is so beautiful now
awesome
