    I’d like to hear from Dr Oliver Findl - I have ICB00 in both eyes. Since my refractive lens replacement surgery carrier out by Optical Express in June 22nd 2023 I suffer of Positive Dysphotopsia. It is destroying my life. I note that Dr Findl is still wearing glasses; I had no knowledge of Dypshotopsia, the quality of my distance vision is poor, blurry and doubled. In the morning I see halos in my left eye. Please Dr. Findl help me, please - every day since the surgery my life is torture, please please help me ?

      your refraction has likely landed hyperopic, which means that the focal point of light is behind the retina, which means it's not really sharp at any distance. My right eye is similar, though the hyperopia is mild +0.5 / +0.25 it's enough to make it blurry / doublevision without glasses. Go get yourself a pair of prescription glasses. Alternatively you may have unfixed astigmatism, which should also fixable with glasses.

    I have these in both eyes, daytime vision is outstanding, however, nighttime vision has rings around any point of light, halos around others, constant flickering, although the flickering may not be the fault of thelens, surgery was over a year ago.

      Did they go away now?

      Still have the rings, although this summer, I plan to have YAG, we'll see if that makes any changes.

    I use such lens. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the lens. I am 40 years I have no complaints against the doctors. For 65+, a good option is possible. But for those who are younger, it is better to install at least Symfony and Synergy. With Eyhance you will suffer greatly with far vision or wear glasses. It's a pity that the lenses are put in actually only once in a lifetime (only in super emergency cases you can change them).

      Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you are not happy with this lens. I think that all the current lenses have big drawbacks.

      @@Stevethesearcher It is best when these drawbacks are discussed before the operation. Of course, this is the doctor's fault and my haste. I would prefer Synergies.

      Symphony and Synergy both have massive drawbacks compared to eyhance or regular tecnis1. Your color and contrast will be compromised, and because of the diffractive nature of the lens you will have halos and dysphotopsias that may make your night driving impossible. Monofocal has by far the best sharpness, color and contrast because it doesn't split the light. But it will have less range. Range is always a compromise for image quality.

    • @scrmdukraine4561
      @scrmdukraine4561 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sipu79 Of course, there is no ideal option. Contrast is good, but it has little meaning when you can see very poorly in the distance. In addition, my vision has deteriorated significantly after the operation. And it is good to warn that very close vision will become bad.

    • @Sipu79
      @Sipu79 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@scrmdukraine4561 what's your eye refraction currently after surgery (your glasses prescription)? You can have a bad outcome with any lens. Getting the targets right is even more difficult with complex lenses so a possible outcome could've been even worse vision with artifacts. If a monofocal lens hits it's target of plano, you will have an infinite vista of sharp vision from 1.5-2 meters forward. Eyhance has slight distance compromise over regular tecnis1 but it's negligible. Monofocals will require you to use glasses for distance or near. You can end up needing glasses with any lens if you end up with a refractive error or untreated astigmatism for instance.

    I had Eyhance toric 2s put in my eyes 3 weeks ago. Ruined my vision compared to before surgery. I see partly double causing blurry vision starting about 3 ft out. Further out the worse it gets. Don't get them. I regret doing it as I had sharp vision from up close to the horizon. Just had some cadacts. Gave a slight yellowish tint. Now how much is it going to cost to fix this if it is possible. I shelled out 3k to have the toric's put in. I'm busted money wise.

    У меня стоит Eyhance в левом глазу и Simfony в правом. Eyhance дисфотопсий,галоэффектов у меня не даёт. Я доволен хрусталиком Eyhance!

    This video fails miserably to inform patients of the "need to know" facts. The company claims of next to no difference in distance between the two products is false and misleading and does not accurately reflect the advise of professionals. It also fails to inform about "glare" etc. This video is pure propaganda

    • @Sipu79
      @Sipu79 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jgriffin282 it's a good lens, but the distance vision is compromised in order to extend the range to intermediate a little bit. Everything's always a trade-off, the amount of light going through your lens is always fixed and you have to take some of that light energy from distance to extend range. But the trade-off isn't huge either way.

      it's a minor EDOF lens (not enough edof to be called an edof so it's classified as a monofocal), with an altering power from the perimeter to the center. They've installed probably hundreds of thousands of these worldwide by now, you should feel safe getting one. These are not multifocal lenses or diffractive ones.
