Conversion process of Foreign driving licence to Malaysian driving licence | JPJ Wangsa Maju, KL

- Visit -1
1) You need to have your Indian Original Driving license which should be at least one year old.
2) You need to get DL Extract from Your Indian Local RTO office with Stamp and Signature.
3) Go to JPJ Wangsa Maju in KL, Malaysia
4) Collect the application Form and fill it.
5) You need to take token for verification below.
a) Original Passport
b) Company offer Letter.
c) India Original Driving License
d) Filled Application Form
e) DL Extract from India local RTO.
6) Separate Conversion Counter for Verification of the above with the Token Number.
7) Once Verified by JPJ Officer he will give you an Appointment to submit the Same Documents.
Visit -2
8) On the Appointment day you need to go and Submit the Documents.
9) They will give an Acknowledgement letter.
10) You can check online as stated in Acknowledgement Letter about you conversion was approved or not.
Visit -3
11) Once it is approved you need to Visit JPJ Wangsa Maju Office with a Photo, Original Passport, Indian Driving License and Acknowledgement Letter provided by them in the Last visit.
12) Again, you need to take the Token and Wait until your token number is displayed on the screen.
13) Need to pay the Amount so that you will get Probationary License for 2 years Immediately. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
what do you mean by: You need to get DL Extract from Your Indian Local RTO office with Stamp and Signature. Is this a official translation? If so, can this be done through Malaysian ITBM?
Where you got License in India from same branch you need to ask them DL extract.
It’s official, no it cannot be done at Malaysia as per I know.

Hi, no need from BLS, DL Extract from the RTO office where you got your Indian license with rubber stamp and signature of the RTO.
Can change Indian laisens in to maleysia
Yes, you can change Indian license to Malaysian license if your Indian license is more than one year old
Is indian Embassy attestation must for Malaysia licence
No need, but as I mentioned DL Extract is mandatory for India with RTO stamp

@dineshs4344 still you will get Malaysia’s P license for 2 years, you need to have P stickers front and back of your car for 2 years.
Still you will get P License in Malaysia,
Conversion of any country driving license to Malaysia will be P driving licence.
