Instead of sending millions to bail out rich cities that overspend, how's about the feds send a little cash to these volunteer FD's that often run on shoe string budgets. God bless these brave souls.
I thought that having the truck coming up on side 3 was a good idea. The pumper that was positioned ahead of the truck I suspect was going to be a feed for the truck alone with hand lines. I was not happy, however (at 7:05) seeing a nozzleman spraying water into a window on the 3-4 corner WITH NO TURNOUT GEAR OR SCBA. I realize that this was a volunteer department, but F.F. safety comes before property. I saw many personnel walking too close to the structure without protection. Better scene control is needed. F.F.'s from truck 891 looked well prepared for battle. Good video.
I thought there was good positioning of the attack pumper on side 1. I was always one to have the supply line pushed over to the curbside to allow for apparatus traffic.
I’m not sure if they’re chief or ASST Chief I just know whoever it was they were acting as command and 2nd was waiting for the ladder company to arrive and assist in pulling an additional line to the Charlie side

Why can't vollie chiefs wear their gear? Ego?
I totally agree. When I was an Asst. Chief, it was the first thing I did.
There is NO excuse for not wearing full protection on a fire scene.
Great video.
Thank You
Great clip
Thank you
Amazing video brother! Any word on a cause of this fire?
Thanks and honestly I have no idea

Driver was the only one moving with a purpose

Where was the guy in orange going? He was at the neighbors drinking a beer maybe he was gonna pee on it.
What's with all these jokers walking around the scene giving orders? If they're chiefs then wear gear.
