    I have seen other people use the water from the coconut itself instead of regular water.

    I use a screw driver in the eyes with a mallet and pour the juice out. Then, I wrap the coconut in 2-3 hefty grocery bags and WAM in on the ground...easy peasy!

    Thank you! Trying to make chickpea curry for the first time, couldn't find any coconut milk for the recipe that doesn't have a ton of extra stuff. Looking forward to trying this!

      Back from the kitchen... The curry turned out OK but after the cleanup... I think I'll never put coconut in my Nama again XD

    if u put the coconut face down on a pan and pop in the oven at 400 degress for 15 mins it softens it and makes it easy to pop out

    Nice video thanks for sharing! I have a mama J2 now as well and I love it. Is there a reason that you cut up your coconut so much to add to the juicer? This juicer can handle large pieces and even whole fruit and veggies. It’s such a time saver I love it!

    You should break the coconut into smaller pieces, that way it is easier to take of the hard shell..

    Do you think the coconut meat would chop up in a food processor rather than cutting it up by hand?

      @@ShaniquetheKreativeVegan Coconuts. I had to clean it three separate times. At first I thought the pieces were too big. I chopped them up and it got clogged again, finally I blended them in my Vitamix. It didn't liquefy it, I added it to my Nama and it got clogged a third time.😐 I had a hard time taking it apart to clean.

    500$ juicer

    • @ShaniquetheKreativeVegan
      @ShaniquetheKreativeVegan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes with a 10yr warranty. When ever making a purchase read the warranty and make your decision. Some juicers are cheaper but only has a 1 year warranty, if anything goes wrong you have to buy a new juicer.

    • @teemo138
      @teemo138 ปีที่แล้ว

      This juicer is amazing it is well worth the 500 because it yields so much liquid and saves on buying too much produce. Look at all the review videos. It is very versatile and easy to clean. Cant wait to make some coconut and oat milk soon
