@@UtubeH8tr not that nerfed I used this tactic to kill the transient myself last week. It's still really good when paired with loop, electrodynamics storm and the power relic which makes a card cost 0 every time you use a power.
you have to be careful with it xD i had a cool deck on ascension 5, and forgot it was an attack. 1 fight before last camp fire i didnt block and went right into thorns, so i was too low hp for the last fight :(
i remember i managed to do a double thunderstrike with a lightning build and got him dwn to -185 strength then i accidentally skipped my turn early and died
Nice work. The time that I managed to pull it off was as the Ironclad, and it was comparatively straightforward. Early on, I got both my Limit Break+ in hand, played them, then on a separate turn, drew both of them again in the same hand , along with Heavy Blade. It was the single-most damaging Heavy Blade (and perhaps attack in general) that I had ever achieved.

You should have consumed way sooner. The orbs in the back weren't doing anything, evokes were how they did damage. It didn't matter that you "lost" an orb, you also lost that orb space, so you would have gotten the same number of evokes, just each evoke would have dealt more damage.
