Nice summary. BTW, Lady Macbeth *appears* the stronger willed of the two - but remember this play is all about appearances being deceptive, of the flower hiding the serpent - and vice versa. The Lady Macbeth who says she'd dash her baby's brains out is the same character who cannot murder an old man who looks like her father - and we know which is the real one, because the latter is delivered in soliloquy. She is the embodiment of 'foul is fair', just as her husband is the embodiment of 'fair is foul'...
I'm a year 11 student and I've got my Lit exam in a month, my English teacher used this in class for all of us to make notes from, but I couldn't help but comeback and rewatch it because the quotes and simple analysis is what I need right now! I recommended this to my friends too!! Keep up the videos they're really useful :]
I haven’t had an English teacher in two months and this might be an amazing resource! I have an exam in two weeks, wish me great luck! Keep it up on your fabulous work!!!
What a coincidence! I just started reading Macbeth in my English 2 class. This video helped me a lot because the Shakespearean English is confusing to me. Are you going to make future videos for the rest of the acts?
Guy: Ok Shakespeare, the King is telling us to make a play that talks about how grand and mighty he is, so there's no need to get crazy Shakespeare: Hold my pen
After having read Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and The Tempest (with the Tempest being the only play I have written 30-40 pages about for a pre-scientic thesis), I decided to read Macbeth as well. Though for the first time I find myself watching these sorts of videos since the play's characters all confuse me as of now. I thank you for your contribution!!!!
Thank you for such a interactive yet informative video that summarised act 1 very well. This is really helping me as we are currently learning about machbeth in school for our GCSE's.
Thank you so much, i have my exam next week and our teacher sends us your videos and really they help me and are fun by their drawings, dont stop uploading vids, it help and u will get repayed by us learners:)

That's so nice to hear. Thank you for commenting! If you take a look at my channel playlist, I've also created videos analysing themes for Macbeth. You may find some of my poetry videos useful if your studying AQA power and conflict.
Please feel free to leave comments on this Macbeth plot summary video. How did you use my content? Was it helpful? I'd love to hear your feedback! 😊

This is great. How did you animate this?
They are hand drawn cartoons which I colour in Photopea. I use Filmora to create the videos - just simple transitions really.

I love your little drawings
Thanks. They're inspired by the street artist Stik. Keep it simple, but express the emotions!
Do you? Personally I think they're atrocious. A pre-schooler does better with a crayon up his ass.

Yeah, it went well, till the last question about Sonnet 116 ideal love one came up. I've got no gf, so I didn't read that one.
I was able to write decently good but not enough.
I passed with good grades.
