Art Journal France Part 3 Lavender, Lavender, Lavender!

Hi everyone, thanks for watching! This video is all about the lavender fields in the Provence, France. We visited those just in time, because they were already harvesting the flowers. I created a full chapter on this theme, including various landscapes, a vintage poster, and some collages with lavender. You can also see some pages about the butterfly garden and one of our favourite places, Peyrusse-le-Roc. I use various techniques, such as collage, mixed media, acrylic paint, drawing with Derwent Inktense pencils and fabrics. Make sure you'll be watching the full video to answer the hidden question. I find it lovely how your soul comes through in your art. So sweet. My biggest struggle is symmetry when I sketch faces. I never feel like it's what I had in mind. I would like to improve. God bless P.S. thank you for sharing about the netting. All I can find is plastic. 🐈‍⬛

Thank you so much! I think I couldn't do it any other way... Symmetry in faces is something difficult... but if you look at faces in real life, they're never exactly symmetric. Nevertheless, keep on trying and exercising and you will get better and better.

Lovely video again, i am happy to see Pearly Pearl, great how the lavender fields inspire you!!! I love the 2nd & 3rd life you gave to the butterfly and i am - like you - very much in love with safron 😅
My biggest art struggle is that I am not technically skilled enough to draw what I would like to draw. (But i nevertheless draw what i want to 😇)

You are definitely skilled, don't worry about that. Of course, you will get even better when you draw and paint more, but you have so much talent.

Heeey leuk dat je een beetje met ons meegereisd hebt.. We zijn bijna thuis en ik ben geneigd om Parel vast te binden; ze is zo vrij als een vogel.. zodra de deur van de camper open gaat, wil ze de omgeving verkennen. Gelukkig komt ze wel als we haar lokken met snoepjes…Tot snel!

Wat een bijzonder fraaie pagina's en wat een mooi idee om de vlinder een 2e leven te geven in je artjournal. De lavendel velden heb prachtig geschilderd. Mijn favoriete pagina is die met de blauwe vlinder en degene met de bloemen. Dankjewel voor het delen
van jullie week. Oh en geef Parel nog een extra knuffel, zo schattig als ze even in beeld komt.
