The anime made getting a Noko look so easy.
And the anime just showed the luck on how to get the noko I mean i got the rare drop and the noko pretty much in almost the same battle (and I don't need to fight him forever to get the rare drop HAHA! Ahh the luck always says hi when a desperate thing happens :D)

If you go to the last room in the 7th circle of the Infinite Inferno before the Terror Time door that leads you to Wobblewok, you can find Bloominoko spawning there sometimes as well. I used this strategy to catch Bloominoko there and it still works, like the pause trick and Nom Burgers and all that still work on Bloominoko and you don't need a Drop of Joy, so it's pretty nice.
I'd rather just get it next to the shoten temple.

I've been craving some yokai watch 1 content when I found out about the remaster coming out in October. I'm so hyped for it!

great guide. didnt know the pause trick, might try it if i want another noko. switch him to a supporter attitude to pump his hp and speed and he'll have your whole party buffed in no time. and his meteor is great too. him and auntie heart keep my party safe n sound. keep up the good work

I found Noko in that spot my first time through there, and he joined me first time battling me. I used him all through my playthrough, and now I can't bring myself to use a drop of joy on my original because he's like my Ash's Pikachu.
This video helped me so much THANK YOU !!!!!! Not only did I get Noko but I got the drop of joy so now I have Bloominoko !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again TYSM !!! :DDD

Another way to get Noko is in the Yokai World where to get Reversette on the second mountain, on the top side, which is extremely rare for Noko to spawn there
Edit: I saw it with my own eyes in my game

Noko can spawn in different places, I saw one in the Abandoned tunnel in the C rank "ring" and another one in liar mountain.
Yo I just started hunting Noko on my second playthrough, and I got the Drop of Joy FIRST ENCOUNTER. I’m legit mind blown.
Edit: AND I JUST GOT NOKO ITSELF SECOND ENCOUNTER WTF IS MY LUCK

+Sean Sddq the zebra crossing snartle's difficulty scales with your watch rank. Basically if you're trying to get him post game, he'll destroy you. Snartles with easier difficulty can be found around the apartments and under apartment doors at night, post game with S rank watch.

Took me an hour to get noko and the drop of happiness, but I was also doing it at the beginning of the game right before that first fight with massiface xD

10 minutes? Mine took about an hour (To befriend him and get his item)!! But it was totally worth it. He hasn't left my team since, definitely one of my favorite Yo-Kai.
I know another yo kai that will help with getting yo kai, it's hungramps.Hungramps (and probably hungorge) has an ability that makes the affect on food on yo kai twice as better.So you'll have more of a chance of getting noko or any yo kai. Hope this helped!=D

That pause trick added 5 years to my lifespan.
*SERIOUSLY THOUGH. SCREW CHASING THAT BUGGER AROUND.* Like seriously, it's so annoying to run him down. And the worst part isn't even chasing him down. It's chasing him down....WHILE NOT RUNNING INTO THE OTHER STUPID YOKAI! If touch any of those other fodder Yokai, the spawns will be reset and you have to reset the map for Noko *ALL OVER AGAIN*. Thank goodness for that pause trick.
Do you know what could be a cool challenge the first person to get a noko but instead of using the popularity ability use the unpopularity ability which is from casanono

Got The drop of joy before catching him
I'm hunting noko and in my 5th one I got a drop of joy and u can also get a nom berger from crank a kai I got it from a gray capsule
the noko family is pretty cute if you ask me!
So pause buffer, followed by nom burger. Ive got a team that is more likely to gaurd in the back row qnd use them to stall until a wisp spawns.
Haven't gotten the Drop of Joy yet but I got a Noko thanks to that trick lol

Well than I guess I got lucky because I used regular food when I first saw him in there then kept trying got the tear of joy than later got him soon after (all before knowing any of the techniques shown)

When did you get Snartle isn't he a really tough Yokai to beat.
Why is Noko so rare for a rank e even though rank e's are extremely common to find, heck their the first yokai you find in the games

Got the drop of joy first, and THEN I got the noko! Had 22 Nom burgers, used up 6 of them. On my last try, I remembered the pause trick, and OH MY SWIRLS I DID IT! Eat your heart out Manjimutts! You can go to the pound for all I care! NOKO FTW!

I ignored it tho because I didn't know they were very rare- QwQ
