Hattori Ransetsu:
Through the window I see
on the plum tree
one blossom, one blossom worth
of warmth
Yamaguchi Sodo:
Through the window I see
a view of greenery
a wild cuckoo
the first bonito

Through the window I see
all I can think of

Through the window I see
this lone iris

in spring twilight - เพลง
Every now and then there's a song that you will not ever forget.
Aye
I love how this song seems to be about the 4 seasons at first, but it's actually about Life, Death and Rebirth.
Spring: Birth.
Summer: Youth.
Autumn: Old Age.
Winter: Death.
And when Spring repeats: Rebirth.
It's no coincidence, in Eastern mythology the seasons are often used as symbols for the cycle of life, with phrases like "the spring of youth" being very popular in Oriental culture to this day.(at least, to my limited knowledge)
Fun fact about this song, not only are the lyrics about the cycle of life, but the song in and of itself also represents one of the stages of life within the album Calling All Dawns, for which it was written.
The spring at the beginning the flower was plum, the second spring the flower is iris. It is really rebirth not repeat, something will indeed circulate, but something will never come back.... Sigh....
@@trainknut Not only in Oriental country, the symbol of cycle of life exist in western tradition, both modern and ancient
@@nantococy8597 life has natural cycles, every mythology has observed this in different and unique ways… the connection between the stages of life and changing of seasons, is, not unique to, but particularly prevalent in eastern mythology.
And further parallels:
Spring - Birth - Morning - East - Water
Summer - Youth - Afternoon - South - Earth
Autumn - Old Age - Evening - West - Fire
Winter - Death - Night - North - Air
So just as Spring follows Winter and Rebirth follows Death, a new day dawns after night and the cycle of cardinal directions will repeat itself.
One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
After listening to it the first time, i was haunted for days where i knew the melody from. Until someone gave me the tip to an actual Movie OST - "Meet Joe Black - Whisper of a Thrill". The melody there that starts at 40 secs into the song is the same than the one that starts repeating after 20 sec here.
Beautiful, i love this song. Thanks for upload :)

Someone please explain to me why this album isn't famous
It's kinda broke Japanese, but still it still has a feel to it, love it
It's not broke Japanese, it's medieval Japanese.
@@ZetsujiYuku I am well aware, I was refering to pronounciation.
@@CaptainAdmiralMango It was sung by native Japanese speakers, and the lyrics are all taken from haikus.
@@winter1rose551 This particular one? I doubt it's sung by natives. You can hear it very clearly on the "o" sound they make, it's not native speakers.
I mean the "u" not o

I preferred this version than the one from the Calling All Dawns album.
agreed! The other version just felt a bit too overdone for me, making me focus more on the instruments themselves and less on the emotions trying to be conveyed. At least here, it seems to have found a better balance, imo :)
Freljil Hungi I find this version to be slightly... underdone...
I prefer this as well, find the other one too heavy on the arrangement side and less on the emotional side

Ross Gil description.
Can some1 tell me what madokara mieru means ?
Thank you very much m8 :)
do u maybe know the origin of this song ? is it from some movie or ?
aha... I get it. ;D Thank you very much for the effort xD
+Orsat Franic Of it still interests you...
The song is from Christopher Tin's, two times Emmy winning, Album 'Calling all dawns'
If you like this song you should probably give the Album a listen, it is great imo.
The Song itself is seperated into 4 parts. Spring, summer, autuum and winter. With each part being sung by a different singer/choir (getting progressively older)
The lyrics are based on traditional japanese haikus as far as I understood it. They sing about the changing seasons, with each singer describing what they see when looking out of the window, eg. blossoms, snow, leaves, etc. That the reason the song is called 'Mado Kara Mieru'
The seasons are probably also a metaphor for the different stages of live, thats probably why the singers become older with each season. That would fit the album it was made for, since it is pretty much the general theme of it.
Hope I could be of help :)
Btw. sorry if there are any weird words or spelling mistakes, had to write this on mobile with german autocorrect and could have missed something
A more fluent-sounding English translation would be, "Through the window, I see"

what language is this ? hausa ?
Japanese.
Frejalise Is it really?.....
Diana Sharon Yes. Any reason for your confusion? I mean, it was stated in an earlier comment as well - It's not like you have to speak the language to figure it out; just googling some of the words in the lyrics should lead you to that conclusion.
It's nothing special! Just thought it was some kind of avatar language or something :)
Frejalise I'm just curious ^^
