My grandfather exemplified true masculinity - he put family first, worked hard no matter how many difficulties presented themselves, was unfailingly honest, compassionate, and respectful, saw the good in others while acknowledging their failings, understood that he wasn't perfect and took every opportunity to improve himself, and took time to enjoy life and sharing that joy with others.

Nothing wrong with rolling over in bed and going back to sleep. Sleep is HIGHLY underrated. Besides, we're spitting in our ancestors' faces by not embracing the luxuries and comforts they would have enjoyed and worked so hard for but weren't able to enjoy for whatever reason.
They fought for us to have life but they would be turning in the grave to see our laziness.

Although this generation is wealthy from stealing from the next, properties prices have gone ballistic to the extent newer generations can't afford, looks like this will be the pinnacle before NWO take-over, social credit system and complete surveillance/ control take-over, sort of like Russia / China currently are. Choosing to satisfy my curiosity was one of the best decision to make practicing these teachings is exactly everything I need to get me through a difficult situation and make important decisions that will change and shape my future exactly how I want it I have a amazing opportunity but it😂means change and everything I have known for 30 years sounds scary, but I’m super excited m whole life is going to change along with everyone in it except for my family.I have been praying for years feeling frustration despair depression stuck almost hopeless wondering why I am not trying anything just complaining about how bad it was and what am I going do??? Still nothing finally the timing is aligned with an opportunity of creating whatever life I want. I begin this journey this month but I am so excited for o start designing my beautiful life. Anything that is hard is worth doing and worth going through my friend. For nothing in life will ever be always good. So we must take the bad with the good. Struggles and pain come to us to make us grow and learn and become better. For without going through things we would never be any better than what we are right now. We are on this earth to experience life and ever sense of it.. including struggles, pain, and going through things daily. It's our thoughts we must control and see the lesson in every nad situation so we can growth from it. For we are here to do our best to become the best optimal being that we can be. So we should work hard each day but work smart and endure ALL things this life puts before us. Then, we will see that this life and world is indeed worth living. For nothing great comes without first going through things. You woke up to another day, so that in itself tells me that God has more for you and your life and is not done with you. So be strong and keep moving forward, one day at a time. You can do it. Chase your dreams my friend. God bless you. 💪🏼👊🏼✌🏼

The concept of masculinity is so backward and outdated that it is sad to see it arbitrarily associated with stoicism. The Stoic ideal was certainly not man but the 'Vir', that is, the virtuous person (who could be a man or a woman). Instead of misrepresenting Stoicism you should read Musonius Rufus.
