Hi, I like Huckleberry Gold, as well. I don't think it offers huge yields, and I'm not sure I believe it's lower glycemic index, but I grow it for the taste and the looks. It also keeps better than Magic Molly and Pinto Gold. Those two are considered fingerlings, I believe, and they are more novelty varieties to me, especially Magic Molly. I'm just not sure that I'm sold on a solid purple flesh potato. Keuka Gold is a big performer here, so that and Huckleberry Gold are the ones I plant the most of. Keuka Gold is also a really good keeper. Nice video.

I have Kennebunk potatoes and Yukon gold potatoes. I haven't gardened in years. I'm from Vermont. we have a short grow season.
